"All of these clothes are expensive. How are you going to pay for it?"
"I have my ways," he said smiling and winking at me. I blushed. I walked to the ladies section and saw an assortment of jeans and flannel shirts. I chose five of each and tried them on. Jack followed me around like a small dog.
"They fit,"I said walking out wearing a red flannel shirt and a pair of jeans. "Can I get it?"
"Sure take them off and bring them back to me after you try all of them on," he said smiling. When I was done trying all of them on I placed the clothes in his hands. "Watch this," I looked carefully and they disappeared in his hands.
"Where did they go?" I asked, amazed.
"They're on your bed back at the hotel. I told you I have my ways," I was happy and grateful for all the effort he put into helping and taking care of me. I gave him a hug .
"Thanks for everything. Is it okay if I stay with you, Derek, and Shawn?" I said hoping I wasn't going too far. I felt the hug get tighter around me.
"You can stay as long as you want," I heard his phone go off. He broke the hug. "Sorry I gotta take this. I'll be right back," he walked back into the clothes section. I walked out with him and made my way to sportswear. I browsed at their selection of clothes, and brought back a few to try on. I saw a few people following me around when I went by myself. I made my way toward Jack and pulled him into the dressing room.
"Jack, get off the phone now," I said, trying to whisper.
"Sorry, I need to go. I'll call you back later," Jack ended the call before the people came in here. Chrome blades slipped into their hands from their jacket sleeves.
"Miss Tamara, your father Asmodeus needs to talk to you right now," they stood there afraid. They knew what I was capable of. I was capable of killing and causing pain to beings like them.
"I'm not going back to that place. I've been through enough over the past years. I could've had a normal life and you want me to go back? I don't think so," I walked up to him so we were facing each other. He grabbed my wrist and pulled me. His breath reeked of cigarettes and aged bourbon.
"You're coming with us no matter what," he smiled and I felt a sharp pain in my abdomen. I looked down to see the chrome blade in my abdomen. I pulled it out. Crimson blood covered the sharp edge. I felt nothing. It felt like a paper cut. He looked at me with fear. I smiled as the wound healed itself. I felt power run through my body. I was angry. My anger made the lights and mirrors crack. I held the blade tightly in my hand. He attempted to punch me in the face. I grabbed his arm and pulled him in. Stabbing him in the chest. Light escaped from his vessel. He fell to the floor. Dead. Three more came around the corner with the same blade I had. I lifted my hand and they stopped in their tracks. They looked at me surprised. Power flowed through my hand causing them to lift off the floor. I formed my hand into a fist making them choke. I wanted them to suffer. Blue beams of light came from my hand.
"Tamara, stop," I looked behind me. Jack was there and his eyes were glowing orange. I forgot about him. He was scared. I could see it in his eyes. I loosened my grip, and controlled myself. They fell to the floor gasping for air. I walked up to one of them stepping over the demon I killed. I pulled his hair and made him face me.
"If you guys ever come back again. I won't let you off next time. Next time you better make sure your bucket list is complete," I said. He nodded. It felt good to see someone else suffer other than me. They disappeared from my sight. I looked at Jack. He was shocked. I fell to my knees and yelled. Getting all of the anger and sadness out of my system. Tears filled my eyes. I felt warm arms embrace me. I closed my eyes. It was quiet. I opened my eyes and we were back at the hotel. Shawn and Derek came in.
