Emma's POV
'Where the hell is she?' He yelled.
I knew that even if Sarah came now it would be no good for, cause after all Niall's apoplexy was at its peak.
'Should I call her once more?' I asked.
'No need Emma, It's already too late. I guess I know what actions I have to take.' He said.
It was getting scarier minute by minute cause I could his anger rising gradually. He became restless and started to walk around in the meeting room. He was even panting when he yelled and that was an alarming sign. I wondered where Sarah was and prayed that she should make it all the way here on time before The Frenchmen arrive. And suddenly someone opened the door...

Sarah's POV
I saw the time it was 12:15 pm and my heart started to rush.
I called mom and told her that we'll be coming to her house, I mean my house, the mansion for lunch and she started dancing due to her overloaded happiness. Cause she, just hated the situation in which she and I were, living in the same city but different houses. I know that hurts but I had to find myself and I had to find everything that I lost two years ago.
I started to drive at a high speed...
'Sarah is everything alright? Why are you in hurry since morning?' Asked Sam in a kidding way, who was sitting right next to me.
Ignored him and we finally reached home in twenty minutes. The time was rushing and so was I. I went into the house with everyone and rushed towards my room. I had some formal clothes there too. So, I put on my clothes and came out running.
'I have to go, mom, to attend a meeting. Sorry, mom! Don't be angry. Love you.'
I said all at once as I wore my heels and sat in my car. It was 1'O clock and I still had some time in hand. I went to my home and picked the contract file from there. And finally, I drove at high speed just to make it up to there on time...

Niall's POV
The door opened and I was all shocked to see when the person entered and I wasn't able to believe my eyes. The person who came in was Mr Noah, CEO of the French Company who was about to visit us today. He came in with three more people walking right behind him making a rectangular if seen from the top.
'Good morning Mr Niall, it's a pleasure to meet you.' Said Mr Noah and shook his hand with mine.
'Yah I'm also glad to see you here.' I said though it was a lie with a smile.
We are about to lose this deal cause we had no contract papers. So, on what, will they sign, the wall?!
'Please have a seat.' Said Emma with a smile and we all got settled on the table.
I was extremely worried just because Sarah couldn't make it here, my company, it has to suffer the loss. How could she be so careless? No matter how I tried to think I wasn't able to be angrier with her, but I wanted to. So, I just thought of my past life, whatever I lost in the past few years. All those people and incidents made me more furious and I now was ready to yell at her, whenever she comes.
'Let's sign the contract now, Mr Niall.' Said Mr Noah breaking into my thoughts.
'What now?' I asked out of confusion.
'I mean it's too early.' I said further and looked at Emma to find some time so that Sarah could make it here, she still had some time.
But why was I so confident about Sarah, again? Niall, you're losing it. Just be who you're, the rudest, quietest, and arrogant one, this is what you are, you understand?
'Early!' Exclaimed Mr Noah and he laughed.
'Is it supposed to take hours?' He asked.
'We mean, you should first have a glance at the details of the products we've made for French people and discuss it thoroughly.' Said Emma with a smile and gradually shifting the file of product details towards Mr Noah.
No matter where we're stuck, Emma always has a plan to get out of it. Even though she has a messed up family, but still she manages to excel in the work in the office. She is the only woman I trust and appreciate.
'Your gadgets are one the best selling in the whole of Asia and there is no point that we should go through all these documents and details. It's just a waste of time. We trust your company. So, let's just sign the contract and celebrate.' Said Mr Noah and smiled.
It was the first time when I felt dizzy there was nothing we could do, cause we didn't have the bloody contract file.
'But that will not satisfy us.' I said and Mr Noah looked in confusion.
'I mean, we want to be fully sure that you agree with all the terms and conditions to avoid any further conflicts.' I said with a slight smile.
I was feeling all burdened up, it was like every second was slithering and the moments were taking decades to pass by. Suddenly I saw someone running in the corridor of my house through the door that was opened a bit. It was a lady who was coming towards the Hall in which we're sitting. She almost fell twice due to running in heels I guess...
I sighed in relaxation because I was a hundred per cent sure who that lady was. Even after so many years I still was able to recognize her from far away. But then I realized that it was Sarah and not her. They just look the same but they are different.
She finally opened the door, put her hand on the wall, and started breathing heavily. After gathering all the attention she came to Emma handed over the file to her and started to go outside.
'Who is she, Mr Niall. ' Asked Mr Noah.
I don't know why on Earth was he so curious about everything.
'She...she is my new manager. Ms Sarah please come and have a seat.' I had to say cause I read the face of Mr Noah.
He wanted Sarah to sit, after all, I also agreed, that she was quite beautiful and Mr Noah's face was all filled with happiness as he saw Sarah.
Meeting went on for the next two hours. I wondered why they sat there for two hours when they were in a hurry just a while ago. But deep inside I knew the answer, It was because of Sarah.
Finally, after everything went well and they left. Sarah was about to leave too but I said.
'Sarah I would like to talk to you.'
Emma looked at me in dismay.
'Alone!' I said and looked at Emma.
And unfortunately, Emma had to leave. After all, in the end, she was also helpless in front of my anger.
Sarah turned around and looked down with great fear in her eyes. I was supposed to yell at her but I said.
'Ms. Brown, why were you late?' I said in a low voice just can't understand what happened to me.
She looked up at me with hopes in her eyes and this made me realize that I was about to scold her. She was about to say when I yelled,
'Why did you even come? You could've chilled in your house, why did you bother to come here?'
'You know I didn't even expect to see you here.' I yelled with sarcasm.
Her eyes gradually started to fill up.

Sarah's POV
I was about to cry cause I was starving and he was scolding me without knowing my situation. I was about to keep my point when he said,
'What? So you have an excuse again, like the earlier.'
'Let's listen, what happened this time? Your housemate was dying or you were hanging out with Jeremy!!' He screamed Jeremy's name out of nowhere and I shivered.
'I think you're not capable of this job. Come tomorrow and I'll hand over your resignation letter.' He said in low voice.
'Now please leave.' He said and I again was not able to do anything so I simply started to walk out with my teary eyes.
But then suddenly everything blacked out and I just remember falling on something so warm and safe...
