The clustered cave descended through a ramp that could take as well more than five minutes by foot to reach the bottom. Tunnels and entrances covered the walls, ceiling, and even the floor around.
The shine of the luminous fungi made the minerals on the rock surfaces twinkle. Spiderwebs hanged at every corner and edge, but none of them had any of the egg sacs that the passage above the canyon was crammed with.
Would they be different species? Soon Vanilla would put an end to that question that consumed her mind. The convoy of Giant Spiders kept crawling, getting them deeper into that colossal system of tunnels.
"I think we are about to arrive," Rowie spoke.
"Do you know what that queen looks like?" Lancelot asked, relaxing his back on the furry abdomen of his spider.
"No, They didn't tell me. But I guess she is very big."
"As if these weren't huge enough..." Vanilla whispered.
