Quick announcement and decision. Recently a lot of stuff has popped up which has made my time schedule really difficult to work with.
And I honestly just want some type of time period where I can just rest my head and relax for a little bit. So I've decided that I'll write a daily chapter every Monday through Friday.
Saturday and Sunday is going to be empty, but we'll see if it changes later on. Anyways, I've taken too much time here.
Enjoy the chapter!

....
After the Great Rabbit was defeated and recorded in my phone. I immediately decided to go towards the core of the Sanctuary.
Garfiel is currently busy as I have asked one of the clones to start explaining how the villagers escaped and whatever damages the Great Rabbit caused. And as Garfiel considers himself a 'protector', he is bound to listen to her report.
Speaking of Garfiel, I certainly do have some 'uses' him. From what I remember about his bio, he does have the written form of how the original sword saint trained his body.
I do want that book as I have no current idea of the most effect ways to train the body in this world. The human body here is capable of destroying kingdom walls if well trained. So there is a stark difference on how strength works here as compared to my past life.
Following one of the newly born Ryuzu clones, I had managed to finally find the building that houses the Sanctuary's core.
Walking through the entrance, I proceeded to tread my steps carefully until I found myself in front of an enclosed door. Scanning my surroundings, I managed to find an opening the wall that and proceeded to take a closer look.
Leaning down towards the opening, I could see what looks to be a hole that could hold a certain object. Frowning, I dug into my shirt before pulling out the fragment of crystal.
Putting the piece inside of the hole, I let out a annoyed tsk as it covered only a part of it.
It seems I'm going to have to make more small talk with Garfiel.....
Putting the stone in my pocket, I started to walk back the way I came.
....
"I'm going to take the trial." I heard Emilia say with a stern tone as I stepped through the door. In front of me however was Garfiel as he blocked me from entering and Emilia from exiting.
"No." Garfiel said calmly while crossing his arms. "Not tonight, you aren't."
"Yes." Emilia said with an annoyed tone before reaching her hand forward. "Now let me through now."
"No."
Emilia immediately tried to push Garfiel out of her way but pitifully failed instead. Garfiel just stood there calmly as her face went red with effort before backing up and taking a deep breath.
Emilia realizing she can't push him out of the way scowled in anger before beginning to shout at him.
"Why won't you let me out! Aren't you just going to send me there tomorrow? So what is the point of this?"
"I'm trying to free this Sanctuary which is what both you and everyone else wants out of me! So why are you making this so difficult?!"
Garfiel however didn't answer as he calmly stood with his arms crossed while staring at her. Emilia noticing his silence bowed her head in sadness and confusion.
"Why?"
"...."
"I see...."
Emilia giving up turned around and began to walk slowly before opening and stepping into her room. And with a pause she looked back at Garfiel with a look of frustration before slamming the door.
Garfiel then sighed out of tiredness before his soul almost jumped out of his body as her turned around.
"She's a bit different isn't she?" I said with a calm expression as I looked at Emilia's door. Looking at her door with a bit more thinking, I just shook my head before looking directly a Garfiel. "Do you reckon she changed because she passed her trail? Oh right, you wouldn't know about that."
"What do you want?" He said while looking at me with clenched fists and an angry expression. "You better spit it out quick. Because I REALLY want to rip that smart mouth of yours off."
Scanning around the room with reinforced senses, I had confirmed that no one was spying on us.
"Come with me." I said calmly as I looked at before pointing at the pocket which holds the fragments of crystal. "You can ask one of the clones to watch over Emilia while we walk."
Throwing a punch at me, I just stood still as it flew past me and roughly banged against the wall. And with eyes of anger and frustration, Garfiel looked me in my eyes with a snarl as."
"How t'hell do y'know all this!"
Pushing his arm to the side, I motioned my hand towards Emilia's bedroom before putting a finger up to my mouth. Following my motion, he let his arm fall before deciding to collect himself.
Once he had finally collected himself, he immediately took out a fragment of the crystal. "Get some clones to watch the house, thank you."
Pocketing it with the other pieces, he stepped outside before looking at me with a serious expression.
"Speak."
I ignored him before staring my walk to the core. I then heard a loud tsk followed by footsteps behind me and knew Garfiel had decided to follow me.
...
"Just how much do you actually know about this place..." He said in a quiet tone as we found ourselves at the door which held the core of the Sanctuary behind it.
"I know enough." I replied as I dug into my pocket and showed him the fragment. "Now can I see the rest of the fragments please."
Staring at the crystal in total silence, he just proceeded sigh in an extremely tired manner before giving me the fragments. "Sure..... Do whatever you want...."
"Hmmmm?" I sounded out in surprise. "No anger or inconsistent yelling?"
In response, Garfiel just gave me a silent stare.
"Ok then."
Putting the pieces of the crystal back together, I immediately put it inside of the hole I found in the wall.
*click*
After a short click, the ground began to rumble as the thick stone door began to slowly slide open. And as the ground rumbled, Garfiel and I just waited in silence for the door to open.
*bang*
Now fully open, I gestured for Garfiel to go first. Staring at me for a second, he let out another tsk before stepping inside.
I then followed behind him before coming across a giant crystal which is the core of the Sanctuary. And as we both stared in silence, Garfiel finally spoke.
"It's time to speak."
"About what?"
"How do you know so much about this place?"
Breaking my gaze away from the core, I calmly stared in Garfiel's eyes. "I spoke with the woman in charge."
"Who now?" He said with an annoyed tone. "Don't you dare speak in circles now. Be completely straight with me."
"I spoke with Echidna, the Witch of Greed." I said before turning back towards the core. "And she told me.... quite... a lot."
"Did she now?" He questioned in a dark tone. "Now why would SHE do that?"
Shrugging my shoulders, I looked at him with a confused expression. "I have not the slightest clue. She IS a witch after all."
"And trying to understand how they think is like trying to figure out the meaning of life." Then with a smirk I stared him in the eyes. "You should know what I'm talking about... right?"
"..." Staring at me in silence, he turned his head towards the core and sighed. "Yes.... yes I do. Now why exactly did you bring me here?"
Directing my gaze towards the core, I let out a small smile as I closely examined the figure inside of it. Wearing a white robe, a petite girl with long, wavy and puffy red hair can be seen inside the crystal.
This right here is the body of the original Ryuzu Meyers. And she is currently the 'core' of the Sanctuary.
But in the future... she will be called.....
"Omega."
