Hiya there! You must be pretty excited about this book if you're reading it! Hope you make it cover to cover! Oh, you think this is a story about you? You think you have choices and you get to decide them? No, I'm in charge of the story here. This is my story, and you're reading it. Well, I hope you enjoy!
Oh right, this is supposed to be the beginning...well, okay.
So, as I said, this is MY story. I was a baby, goo goo ga ga, and all that stuff. I lived on breast milk which I now just realized had something else in it that made me this way. I was okay for a baby, I learned to crawl and walk easily, at the age of nearly nine months. I had grown up to be a successful child, knowing three languages, two if you don't count gibberish. Life could be more fun, getting straight A's was pretty boring. I now live in the city, so I'm very independent. Oh, speaking of which... "It's time for school!" I exclaimed, rushing over to Euricha Academy. It was a school for smart kids, or maybe the opposite, but I'm totally the smartest there. "Good morning, Ms. Trouncles!" I said, waving at her. She waved back, she's very nice, nicer than my parents ever were. My parents were strict, they made sure I got good grades. They whipped my butt every single god dang time I got a B! A B! Can you believe them?! I know, I know, I talk to myself in my head a lot. Get used to it! I sat down in class, but my teacher, Mr. Hundani, was late. But he's never late! And he's the most fun teacher on earth! Nobody teaches math, science, astronomy, zoology, English, Spanish, reading, and social studies like him! He suddenly drove in with his cool flaming motorcycle. Not actual flames, you moron. There were flames in the motorcycle's design, and on his helmet. "Good morning, class!" Mr. Hundani projected, as we all answered back, "Good morning, Mr. Hundani." I was the only one who said it excitedly. No, wait, that's not how my day went! Sorry, that's what I think inside my head every time I walk through those doors. This is Euricha Self Development Center for the Less Intelligent. Lots of fancy words I don't understand. The entire class, including me calls it the Euricha Center for short. "Good morning, Ms. Trouncles!" I said, waving as I headed to my class. She grumbled, "Good morning, you piece of shit." I sat down in my seat, waiting for Mr. Hundani. He's always late. Never once have I seen him on time. He came in, groaning not very enthusiastically, "Good morning, idiots." I was the only one who said, "Good morning, Mr. Hundani." Other students giggled and pointed. "Get out your social studies textbooks and turn to page 167." He commanded us all. "Excuse me, Mr. Hundani?" I said, raising my hand. He moaned. "What now, you little bitch?" I put down my hand slowly. "I...I forgot what i-is past fifty." The entire class roared in laughter. They nearly fell out their seats, but since there was a rule against falling out of our seats, they tried their best to stay inside of their chairs. "Miss...get out." I took my textbooks, went to my locker, and opened it. I put my textbooks back and grabbed my backpack. I strapped it on and headed towards the exit. I continued to walk home to my apartment. I got to the door, got my keys, and unlocked it. As soon as I unlocked it and went inside, I immediately locked it back. Parties always happened in the building, and I didn't want drunk people entering my home. Oh, by the way, my name is Siren Himado. This city is called Tosan Yolkoicsaco. No, we're not in the country of Japan. This is Rocitida, what people presumed to be the best country on Earth. What a lie. I miss home. The only good parent I had was my father. He's still alive, but he's far away, in New Truckerstein. He made the most delicious pork buns! Man, do I miss him. As a goodbye gift, he gave me a locket, which has a golden flower in the middle. He said it contained magic, but I don't believe him. He always said to be magic is potential. Potential can lead you to do great things, even save lives. I want to say he's right, but I don't think so. I went to grab a book off my bookshelf, when- crack! What's that sound? I thought. What? I'm just thinking what we're all thinking! Behind the bookcase, I found a door, a self sliding door. Fancy. I walked through, and found an enormous robotics lab! They had suits, gadgets, that kinda looked like guns and gloves. I looked around and examined everything. It was amazing! I went over to one of the suits. Unlike the others, this one had a name. "Sayonara." I said, still shocked with amazement.
