I was walking to the store to go buy some chips and Sprite, when, guess who I saw? Marko. He was talking to the guy behind the counter all excited, probably about last night. He turned around and noticed me, and rushed towards me. When he came up to me, Marko was practically jumping up and down in joy. "Oh, my, god! Siren, did you hear about what happened last night?!" I tried to act sarcastic, yet sincere, or just lie altogether. "No, I haven't, what happened?" I lied. "Sayonara...he saved me! He was so cool!" I looked at him with concern. "Don't you mean they? Or we can assume it's a female since she, they, or he, has Sayonara for a name. And besides, I make the comics have them as a 'they', so..." I was still happy for him, he looked real excited about that rescue, even though it's just my job. And he knew my name? I thought everybody always cursed when they referred to me, as 'that little shit' or 'that daughter of a bitch'. It was nice for someone to call me by my normal name for a change. "What did they do?" I asked him, already knowing though, just wanting to see his reaction. "He-no, they, dropkicked this mafia bodyguard guy that was trying to attack me, for some reason, and they punched the other guy in the back of the head, and it was awesome!" I bought my stuff, and when I walked out the store, me and him continued talking, and soon, the subject wasn't just about Sayonara. We talked, and talked, and talked, all the way back to my apartment. "Well, this is where we say Sayonara, am I right?" I joked. He giggled quietly. I came up to him, and hugged him. "Thank you, Marko. It's nice to finally have a friend." Marko was surprised by the hug, but he hugged back. "No problem, Siren. I don't get why people joke about you. You're actually a nice and understanding person." He told me. We stopped hugging. "Hey, you wanna go hang out again on Tuesday, at the mall?" He invited me. I smiled. "Of course! I'll see you there!"
Finally, the day came. I'm so excited! This was my first hang-out ever! Should I wear something nice, or act normal? I obviously need to buy new clothes...but I just can't wait! I bought some new clothes, a black sort of crop top and some jeans. I wanted to buy heels, but decided to just wear my regular shoes instead. I put my hair in a side pony-tail, most people said I looked cute with it, or at least my parents did. I then grabbed my bag of stuff I might need, like water, bandages, and other survival things, then skipped over to the mall. I saw Marko on his phone, wearing a basically see through shirt-which almost made me blush, but didn't-and some jeans, like me. "Finally. You came." He said, smiling. "I wouldn't forget it!" I exclaimed. Me and Marko talked for a while. After that, we continued hanging out for a long time, about a month. One time, it was night, and I was heading to my apartment building with Marko. I stopped at the entrance and looked back at him. "Well, we say Sayonara here, right?" He giggled a bit, like the joke never got old. "Hey." He said, before I was about to open the door. "We...we've been hanging out for a while...and...I just...." I looked at him. What was he trying to say? "Uh, Siren....will you be my girlfriend?" I was shocked. He wants me? Of all the people in the world, ME?! I mean, I felt something for him too, I just didn't think it was love..."Of course, Marko! I'll be your girlfriend!" I smiled at him, and he was very happy. He kissed me, and we hugged, and sadly, we had to say goodbye...
A few days later...I was patrolling the streets in my suit, then heard a girly scream. Sounded...familiar...I went to check down a suspicious alleyway, one known for a lot of trouble, named The Void. I snuck down, and saw a girl in a green dress and blue heels. I don't remember why, but I've seen her face before...there was also two mafia bodyguards and-wait, they're the same guys I had to save Marko from! But what does the mafia want with a girl? The boss, who had drove away, walked over to the girl, who was tied up with her mouth duck taped shut. The boss teared the tape off of her mouth. "Now, tell me, Carmen, where is the money?" He asked. "I told you, I don't have it yet! The Tosan Yolkisaco Bank of Rocitida has high level security, even in it's fucking lobby! You think it's easy to steal?!" Carmen yelled at him. So she was a thief, Eh? More reasons these mafia men and woman should be arrested, and so, thank god I'm here. I used my power gloves as a magnet, and pulled the boss toward me from the metal chain around his neck. The people got a little scared, but not Carmen. She busted out of her chair, and literally climbed the wall, and kicked me right in my mask. It didn't knock off, but I fell, and headed towards the prison to arrest the boss. Without him, it would be harder for these mafia to steal, but easier for Carmen. When I got home, I researched more about this 'Carmen', and learned she was a world class thief. Her full name was Carmen Santago, and it said she defeated a lot of heroes, including Fire Guy and Ice Man. I got chills from this, and closed my laptop, and fell right onto my bed, falling asleep.
