They all were dressed up and ready to go, the last Island where the Guardian stood. All the Phreanyx facing him, kneeling. Showing their loyalty.
"You can stand up now," I said fighting the urge to make it sound arrogant.
They stood up and started talking to each other, this must be called a Quintuplets meeting.
"After this, we all will meet the others and go to your Master."
"Then let us go, Brothers? Sisters?" Phronyx asked.
I went ahead and started walking towards the route I took when I was running here. Surprisingly the siblings' presence seems heavier and thicker, it was strong... Was my theory true then? Does it really multiply their strength? I guess I have to find out when I meet Phoenix.
Time passed, and we were already reunited with the others. They were confused and scared. They know the presence that the five carry yet the five don't. I wonder how they'll progress. Since they've shared their loyalty, I kinda received something.
"Shall we get going then?" Phronyx asked and looked at me.
"Let's go. We're lost in the schedule." I told them. I packed my things and Phronyx took my stuff.
"Hey! Let me do it! I Have a magical scroll. It'll keep everything." I explained.
He gave the things and he was nodding. "Phronyx you'll be with April, my sister. Phreanyx and Phoinyx and Phoiryx, my side. Phoerix goes with Luciel." I announced, and they all seem to agree.
"Now let's head to Phoenix."
Time passed, and we were at the peak of the Island. The Island was bigger than this Island. It was filled with flying birds. The trees were more magical. More unique... the hardwood is strong, birkwood. Colourful wood and unbelievable leaves. A flower that even Seas don't hold. These are too rare... are we allowed to take things from here?
"Den is near."
"Den? You mean the Phoenix's home?" I asked.
Once we step in this floating Island we would be on our final destination on what Ethaniel could say our goal. Phoenix had been said that he would be able to train me. My last master was my Uncle Acker, and he was the only one who could educate me about things I haven't learned and things I'd want to learn. He never forced me to learn things I wouldn't like to learn and would give me free will. He actually never ceases to please me and considering that he was the only one who could teach him and me.
"In that big birkwoed is where Phoenix is staying," Phoinyx whispered to me.
"Good to hear," I whispered back.
The birkwoed, biggest tree in the island blazed... It was pretty cool. The blazing unbelievable scenery of energy was a scene to behold. It was a lair of someone who had enough of energies. I never met Phoenix but to think that he has this much power that he would let the energies move around the island... Insane.
"Well, our master is ahead of us. He certainly knew you guys were here the moment you stood in the entrance." Phronyx exclaimed.
We continued our walk, observing and memorizing each corner of the island. Spotting different things that are more valuable than things I've seen in places. Miracle Flower, Runes, even wood and saplings that are rare to encounter. These things are almost mythical... and to think here in Trash Sea of the worst forest is where you'll find these things... each corner would give an unbelievable scenery that would mesmerize me. This was better than Acker's residents. Even better than the sanctuary. Who could this Guardian be? To own such places is too much.
"We are close to birkwoed tree. Father is waiting." gushed Phronyx.
"Are you always this talkative?" April hissed.
Phronyx gulped. Though Phronyx is stronger, April sometimes gives anyone chills. The way she talks sometimes scares me. But most of the time, she is cute.
"We are here." Phoinyx blurted.
We stopped our marks. We were halfway to the birkwoed tree but he already said we were here.
Oh! i see! Now I know what he meant.
"This is the barrier for anyone outside. What's inside here stays in. That is the only rule inside here." Phreanyx retorted.
"Beware of creatures flying onto you. We pay no damage of what creatures do here inside the barrier." Phoerix cautioned.
"Wait! Is what inside here that dangerous?!" April asked.
"Once we enter the barrier, which will send us to a different corner each. Our goal is to go to the middle. Birkwoed. Remain alive at all cost." Phronyx announced.
"Then what are we waiting for?" I babbled.
I went through the barrier and looked behind, they were there looking shock. I came back out. "What are you guys waiting for?" I asked.
The quintuplets looked shock and the two ladies gasped.
"What is it this time?" I asked with annoyance in my voice.
The two ladies shook their head in disbelief and continued inside. The rest followed, I too went back to see all of them disappear. Except for Phoinyx and Phreanyx. I looked at them.
"Is this what you mean by separated?" I asked.
"Yes but the three of us is in a different scenario." replies Phoinyx.
"How different?" I mumbled.
"Well for instance. We two were the only ones who won't get affected by the seal which is transporting us into a different corner, which give us the bigger advantage because we are the closest ones to the birkwoed." Phreanyx explained.
"So am I same with you guys?"
"Not quite. You were able to go out which is not possible for any of us. The barrier itself didn't work on you nor does the seal." Phoinyx emphasized.
"Does that mean I'm special?" I exclaimed.
"Maybe." they both answered.
"Then what are we waiting for? Let's get a move on!"
We three were walking towards the blazing tree. The inside of the barrier is something else that what is inside. We are talking about fantasy! Filled with different and unknown things! This was an amazing sanctuary! It's on its own level!
I continued to walk with the two as I thought of the reasons why we were different from the rest. It could have meant that we were chosen it could mean anything! I mean Phoinyx might've been chosen because of his so-called capabilities. He was known for critical thinking and great power of fire.
Phreanyx might've been chosen because of her wind power, she might've gotten in because she was considered as air. Well too impossible. She is, in fact, in human form, so it's not possible. On the other hand, me, why was I able to go out and in? I did the seal not work on me as well as the barrier?
Questions were flooding my mind that all I could do is think. I almost fell down earlier and luckily Phreanyx is fast and has instincts that she was able to stop me at my tracks. If it wasn't for her, I would've been scratched.
"We're here." Phoinyx declared.
"Here where?" I asked wondering my head and saw the birkwoed just in front of me. A thousand times bigger than I am.
"Hello, Matthew. Welcome to my Den." a big husky voice echoed the area.
I jumped in fear of the voice that suddenly voiced. I looked above and saw a massive Phoenix... So big that it would cover 1/4 of the birkwoed tree. It then flew downwards and slowly radiating it's power turning it to a human. Wait for what?!-
He looks young! And damn! He has his appearance! His the same but in his own level like the quintuplets! Don't get me wrong, but they have features that you barely see in humans... take Phreanyx and Phoinyx as an example! They both look gracious and young and lovely! They would become one of the perfect couples all over the seas!
"HAHAHA!" the guardian laughed.
"You can read my thoughts?!"
"Anyone could, with those leaking thoughts of yours, it's a pieace of cake. And hey! Compared to other Gods, I'm pretty young myself! The Quintuplets are 19 except for Phronyx who is 20." he said.
Leaking? Thoughts? Wait, my thoughts leaks?
"It does. Anyone can hear all your thoughts."
I was dumbfounded. I looked at Phoinyx and Phreanyx and both of them didn't look me in the eye.
"Have you been reading my thoughts too?!" I snapped.
"Your mind was open!" they both argued.
"Well, hey now! No need for that! HAHAHA!" the Guardian laughed."Come with me, Matthew Johnson. We have lots to discuss." He excitedly said.
