Chapter 20 - Klaerif and Felix Encounterment

Klaerif heard everything they talked about, and he was happy. To let his subordinates venture out of the world was his most priority. Klaerif went towards where the two were discussing and congratulated Threat.

"This will be your very first Master. You'll no longer be under me but him and now I release you from your oath and now your oath belongs to Matthew Johnson Acker."

Dark shadows from Threat surrounded him. The darkness covered the beast and circled around him turning him into a white version of himself. He was bigger, stronger and even scarier.

"Well now. I see you've gotten stronger in his hands rather than I." Klaerif said with a low tone, sad.

Threat knelt in front of is a young new master. At that moment the Beast knew how much impact his new master would indulge him with so he swore loyalty to Matthew and that he will always stay in his shadows.

It was clear, Matthew stood high among the others the same foot with the Guardian. Klaerif was terrified of what the prodigy could do that he couldn't for thousands of thousands of years. The inability to increase and grow. The feeling of eagerness to learn something new and find something to fight and grow stronger for... Klaerif's lack of more experience.

A moment passed... A great phenomenon was felt entirely throughout the area. Making quite a scene that even impressed Matthew and Klaerif themselves. Then it was known, a blazing hope, wisdom, strength, bravery and light. It showered all over the place and yet for some reason everyone excluding Threat, Matthew and Klaerif were unable to stand. The forest lit in the bright blaze of gradient red-orange and blue. There he was the Phoenix. Flying towards the three with mighty and confidence. Threat was, of course, terrified but because he was sired to Matthew he had not feared anything and stood high with his confident Master.

"Phoebe." Klaerif chuckled.

"Aklain," Felix called. "I see you have met my apprentice." Felix proudly said.

"Apprentice? Is this young prodigy your apprentice?" Klaerif asked in disbelief.

Matthew stood there eager to stop the two for mumbling non-sense. He was annoyed at the thought of being mentioned by others in front of him.

"Ridiculous." Matthew stood between the two of them overflowing with his energy.

The two Guardians stepped back at Matthew's action.

The two laughed and took a glimpse of the moment. The two then shook the feeling and faced each other eagerly. They came rushing through each other and giving their warm embrace.

"Oh, you ridiculous old bird! You should not come out during the night!" Klaerif joked.

"Well, well, says the one who barged in my Kingdom ruling the night." Felix teased back.

Matthew noticed that he was ignored again and went to his sister who was incredibly shaking, unable to apprehend what was happening. In their eyes, it was as if looking at Gods talking with each other. The Phoenyx siblings knelt and had not shaken like the others. It was respected in seeing higher beings for they are respectful and smart that they wouldn't defy other people and get their Master in danger, well partly because of that. The other reason is that Felix hasn't given the full authority on giving his children to Matthew, therefore they have respect for the high being.

The two guardians accompanied each other while Matthew went to her sister. April was crying, Matthew caressed her sister's hair and told her everything was going to be fine. Her sister calmed down and Ethaniel was still in shock.

"Brother and sister," Matthew spoke gently. "Let's take our leave. There is a house inside the birkwoed. Let's rest there." Matt said.

"How can you even stand high in front of those beings... They aren't normal..." April asked out of the blue.

"Can you stand high when you're around me?" Matt fired a question.

"Of course your my-" she gasped. "Yes of course..." she stood up and wiped her tears.

"Come on brother lets go. We've got a long way to go." Matt cheered his brother.

Ethaniel stood up and nodded to his brother. Matthew nodded at the group where Emilia, Alexander and Luciel were and had followed. Matthew knew that. That night wasn't something they were used to seeing. Three great beings at the same time. Although they were able to enhance themselves, they still couldn't shake away the two Gods standing in front of them. They were sitting where the Gods stood and laughed.

Klaerif and Felix were still busy chatting. Klaerif just told his Phoenyx subordinates to take care of things. They all stood up, thus helping everyone up. It took only a few minutes to arrive at the Birkwoed place and everyone settled in. All their worries disappeared at the sight of something so wondrous. The girls were so happy to see the place that they started celebrating for no reason. It made Matthew smile at how his sister was easily distracted at something she worries right after everything was fine. He smiled and went back to his normal serious self.

Matthew turned to Ethaniel who was sitting and thinking still about what he had encountered.

"Ethaniel. Now, this is something to take a memory of, you barely see Ethaniel Jadeson Acker get terrified." Matthew teased.

"Are you serious? If I had the same power of yours then, of course, I'd be standing still like a normal person, but guess what? I ain't abnormally powerful. You heard them, and you yourself know that you are a prodigy and, by the way, did you forget? Some places in the different parts of the Seas have an acronym for prodigies. Do you remember? Prodigy?! Monster?! Of course, both is the same. Monsters take hold of a great amount of power thus pertaining them to have belonged with those who live in the Kingdoms. You know we need you and if this gets out of hand... The kingdoms will give their wrath upon us, and we would have done nothing!" Ethaniel hissed at his younger brother although Matthew knew what he was dealing with.

"That is why you sent me here right? Uncle, our Uncle Acker told you that this Felix guy is able to teach me to become someone stronger than a God!" Matthew explained.

"Fine! But we have to get the hell away from here as fast as we can and take back our throne! Our home! Your Throne! And find that bullshit brother of ours!" Ethaniel replied.

"It won't be possible for us to decrease the time we spend here. That is because I have to get better and no other places can improve me. Instead. I have a mission for you. I've had the likings with the book of cultivation, Conqueror's Fire Sword style and It is said to have its siblings." Matthew asked his brother.

"And-?" Ethaniel growled.

"I want you to find it's sibling books." Matthew cut his brother off.

"Siblings?" Ethaniel asked.

"Void, Wisdom, Dancing Style, Earth, Creation, Wind, Lightning, Complexity, Music, Art, The Tamer, Entity copy, Domain, Whisperer, Illusionist. The siblings of the Great Fire Conqueror and Water Conqueror." Matthew clarified to Ethaniel.

"That's.. a lot..." Ethaniel facepalmed and was disappointed to find out about the favour.

"I have the Graceful Swordsmanship, The Fire Conqueror, and Water Conqueror. All I need are the rest. Can I entrust you with that?" Matthew faced his brother, Determined.

"I can. When shall I leave to find the rest?"

"You'll have to stay here for a bit. I know that these are Artifacts and the fact that I found the 3 carelessly means they can be anywhere. Those who are important and kept will be the hardest to get which means you should be stronger than even Amshla or Luciel." Matthew said.

"How long will my training take?"

"You'll be taught by me, Luciel, Emilia and Alexander. I'll head to Klaerif to teach you and ask Threat to have you taught. But for now, take your rest. Dawn is to come." Matthew continued.

Ethaniel nodded at his brother's testament and had rest assured. He sighed and thought of the old times. What was happening now was also similar to what before was. But before, Matthew was scarier than what he was now which made Ethaniel feel more relaxed and willing to help.

Matthew smiled at his brother and left to go to his sister. Matthew talked to his sister and they joked with each other. Ethan was left with himself until Luciel came towards him.

"I'm surprised. Everyone seems to be fine now other than Alexander and I." Luciel said wondering his head at the top of the place. He smiled but sadly. "This day on will be different from my normal. Crazy things, unbelievable beings, overpowered beasts. I can't process it all in my mind at the same time."

"Tell me about it. Rest assured, that we? we are safe with his hands." Ethaniel smiled and looked at his younger brother.

"He is something else. To him, I'm only a puny being." Luciel's eyes were hopeless.

"Matthew isn't someone who looks down on other people but who looks at other people highly. He does not know how to look down because he only knows what one person could achieve by effort. Did you really think he didn't hear the oath you took? He accepted that fact since he knew you are worthy. He is someone scary, but he is someone to look up to. My brother... The best person I know." Ethaniel sigh.

Silence surrounded the two of them. Now that everything was, settle, the only thing that came up in their heads is what happens tomorrow...
