As we decided we took out turns following them. I always followed someone every day, most commonly it was my daughter. It was getting a little boring now, everyday it was more or less the same. But it only had been a week, so it was not that much of a surprise anyways.
I went to their house on the weekend, since they were all together. I asked everyone else to take a break since they are already doing so much for me, but Margaret insisted on staying. For some reason their lovey dovey moments bothered me. She pretended to be such a nice person, but behind Tim's back she was so rude to Momo. That double faced b****h was getting on my nerves a lot.
Meanwhile, Margaret was also trying to help me control my apparition. In this situation it was for best I learn it soon. By now I could only make my apparition disappear, if it manifested by itself. How to manifest it? I was still learning on that.
This was so irritating, if it was so hard to learn why don't we spot ghosts on a daily basis? Or maybe we do we just dismiss them as a momentary illusion.
With the help of Margaret and Ken, I also visited their dreams a few times. Momo was starting to open up to me in dreams. According to her the dream is like an old version of me. But she is back to her timid self once she wakes up. However I think she was starting to feel better somehow. There was a hint of childish glow that was missing in her this whole time.
Timothy's dreams were much more non specific. He had hardly any clue that she was not me. I think I saw myself in one his dreams. It was very unclear, somehow our faces were quiet familiar. I felt bad for snooping in on those dreams, but at the same time I was glad.
Our dreams are our modified memories, so I don't really know how much of it was actually true. But in that dream we were sitting in a library, and Timothy was pestering me. The words were not so clear neither did most of the conversation made sense, but from the gist of it seemed like either he was teasing me, or annoying me.
I was reading a book and refusing to talk to him, so he snatched away my book and made me chase him all over the library. If that is an actual memory, I am sure I was banned from that library after this incident.
In the office that woman kept having a hard time. I was surprised when she managed to make up for the time lost. As evil as she was, she was efficient I will give her that. Maybe she was much smarter than me? I mean, it was hard for me to possess her to begin with. They doesn't mean its only because of her strong will, but it could also be due to her intellect as well, who knows.
I did not see her pondering much about the blackout incident though, I thought she will make a big deal out of it, or at least give an appropriate reaction of surprise. Even though she did admit she remembered nothing, she did not pay much heed to it. Or maybe she did? With her acting skills, it was hard to decipher what she was thinking.
When Jeanine found out about what we were upto, she was appalled. She literally cursed that woman. I was reluctant about telling her, so when I bumped into her other day I tried my best to avoid her. But she turned out to unavoidable, kind of like destiny. I laughed at that thought. It did not take her that long to get everything out of me. Too bad I was alone at that time, she also offered me her help if I ever needed it. That was really sweet of her.
Just like that I was lost in my own thoughts, I was returning home after following Momo today, when suddenly someone bumped into me from the back. I turned around to see it was Ken. He was about to apologise before he found out it was me.
He looked lost in his own thoughts which made me wonder what happened to him. He was usually in a happy mood no matter but something seemed to be bothering him again.
"Are you okay?" I asked him.
"Yeah, why won't I be?" He shrugged.
"You don't look okay…." I said. "…Wait? Did you run into your family again?"
"No" He said non challantly.
"Someone from the past you knew?" I asked again.
"No." Same response.
" You were thinking of a sad memory?" I gave it a last try.
"Nooo!!" He looked so frustrated at me. "What is up with you today? Nothing happened alright. I am fine. I am just tired okay? From not finding out anything significant." He said half heartedly. I could tell he was hiding something but I decided not to bother him further.
He was like a deer. There was only a certain amount of intrusion he can tolerate, if you bother him too much he will run away. You need to wait for him to come to you. I smiled at that thought as we entered the hotel.
