As time went on; Roxie's behavior got better and the group's stress and anxieties vanished. Since Roxie's last conversation with Nathan, Roxie suddenly gained an unexpected amount of confidence and creativity that inspired all four members of Fifth Avenue Square for a great idea for their new single's music video. In just about two weeks, the boys filmed, edited and uploaded the music video; making it the most viewed music video the boys have ever posted since their music career had started.
"I can't believe our video has already hit 1 million views since we've uploaded the video this morning." Calvin said.
"I told you guys that this song was going to be a hit." Cassie stated as she was about to lay herself down on the couch in the boys' living room.
"You know if I remembered correctly; wasn't it Roxie the one that said that this song was going to be our band's new single?" Landon reminded her.
"You know what Landon; I believe you're right. Good on ya; mate!" Paul said as he patted Landon's back.
"Well then I guess that makes it 2 wins for you now Roxie?" Calvin asked her.
"Yeah, I guess so; but I can't take all of the credit. I just helped you boys out in the songwriting process and giving you all advice on what to do for this album." Roxie explained.
"Well then, in that case; I think we can all drink to that." Paul stated. The others agreed and raised their glasses. Roxie then went back to her cleaning and her laptop, carefully keeping a close eye on the others. While she was cleaning, Nathan came into the kitchen to join his band mates and Cassie, but, more importantly; talk to Roxie about their little adventure that was going to happen the very next day.
"Hey; look who decided to join in on the party! It's the music industry's bad boy Nathan Hendrickson." Calvin said as he hobbled over to Nathan.
"Take it easy there mate; alright. I'm pretty sure Scott doesn't want to deal with two trouble makers." Nathan chuckled. Calvin just laughed and drank more of his cup of beer, not giving a crap of what Nathan said in that moment.
"Ok; I think someone has had enough celebrating for one night." Landon said as he went over to help Calvin head upstairs to his bedroom.
"Aww; but we were just getting to the best part of the night." Calvin whined as he and Landon walked out of the living room.
"Well since everyone is leaving; I guess that's our cue to leave as well." Cassie said to Paul.
"But I'm not even drinking that much." Paul said.
"I know, but you do look a little buzzed. Besides, I think a certain band mate of yours wants some alone time." Cassie hinted. Paul then looked over at Nathan, then at Roxie and nodded his head. Paul then accompanied Cassie on going upstairs leaving both Roxie and Nathan alone in the kitchen. Once Cassie and Paul had made it upstairs, they ran into both Landon and Calvin in the hallway leading towards the other set of stairs; trying to listen in on Roxie and Nathan's conversation.
"What are you boys doing?" Cassie asked.
"Shh! We're trying to hear Roxie and Nathan's conversation." Calvin whispered.
"How are you-aren't you supposed to be drunk?" Paul asked.
"You seriously thought that Calvin was actually drunk? Somebody needs to get their facts checked." Landon silently chuckled.
"Wait; you were faking it this whole time?" Cassie asked Calvin.
"Yep, unlike you two; I knew right off the bat that Nathan wanted to talk to Roxie privately so I pulled off the oldest trick in the book." Calvin said.
"Well it seemed you proved us wrong, but I for one think its rude that the four of us are just standing here spying on Roxie and Nathan's private conversation." Cassie admitted.
"You are right, but then again lots of things can happen in a private conversation; especially with two people who have feelings for each other." Paul pointed out.
"Good point; but I still think its rude." Cassie pouted.
"Shh; I think the conversation is starting." Landon whispered. The four friends all of a sudden became quiet and waited patiently for something to happen.
Back downstairs; Roxie was finishing up washing the dishes from the group's dinner. Nathan was still, of course; standing by the living room's main entrance, observing Roxie.
"You've been staring at me for quite some time now." Roxie told him as she was drying her wet, soapy hands.
"Sorry; I just can't help myself whenever I see a pretty girl like yourself." Nathan teased.
"You can be such a charmer; you know that right?" Roxie giggled.
"You do know I'm known as the band's 'ladies man'?"
"I know, but I also know to not fall for any of your well know tricks that work on most of those girls in the past," Roxie pointed out. "Anyway, it seems to me that you've got something on your mind." she added.
"I do actually; I just wanted to talk to you about our little adventure that's happening tomorrow." Nathan told her.
"Oh, yeah; I'm really excited about tomorrow; though I should let you know I'm not that big of a fan of horror movies or anything 'haunted' so don't expect to take me anywhere that says the words haunted, abandoned or creepy." Roxie stated.
"Yeah, I highly doubt there will be anything scary or haunted out during the summer. Anyway; I was thinking of leaving here around 6 in the morning, drop by my aunt and uncle's pub for your first English breakfast experience and from there we will take the tram to the Northern part of London. Now if you want; we can make some pit stops while we ride on the tram or we can do the pit stops on the way back here to the house." Nathan explained.
"Ok; maybe we can do a few pit stops along the way back to the house and on the way over there, if that's alright with you." Roxie suggested.
"Fine by me; so I guess I'll see you bright and early tomorrow morning?"
"Yes, you will; goodnight Nathan." Roxie smiled.
"Goodnight." Nathan replied. Once the conversation was over; Nathan, Cassie and the rest of Fifth Avenue Square knew that the very next day was going to be a day Roxie will never forget.
