Fay wanted to walk into the office but was stopped by her tracks when Hades and Poseidon both stared at her. She held a jacket onto her hand looking anxious. She could tell that Lorenzo and Kieran were not himself but someone else. I smile and look at her I waved my hand at her to come in. She walked in nervously handing me the sweater. "Thanks love," I said and kissed her forehead.
I wore the sweater over to hide my bare chest from my torn shirt. I am glad that Fay brought it in. Even though she knows that the cold weather doesn't affect me she still treats me like a normal human being and I appreciate it very much because no matter what she still sees me as a human. I held her hand tightly in mine to ease her nervousness. I wished that she wouldn't have to hear what we are going to talk about it, but she is bound to know it sooner or later.
"I sense magic in her," Poseidon said looking a little bit confused.
"Yea, I know," I replied. "I have sent a little magic into her body in order to fully restore her eyesight is there any problems?"
"No," he shakes his head. "I was just curious."
I looked down at Fay. "This is Poseidon and Hades, Fay," I introduced. She didn't look too surprised.
"They still look like Kieran and Lorenzo just the colours of their eyes are different."
I nod happily knowing that Fay was dealing with this situation better than any ordinary humans can handle. "I am going to stay here," Hades commented. "You guys go be the hero to save Zeus, but I am staying here."
Poseidon sighed. "What's with you and Zeus? You guys never see eye to eye."
"It's not that we never see things eye to eye, but its because Zeus can be so demanding at times."
"I could say the same thing as you." Hades began to scratch the back of his hair and groans at the complains he was receiving from his brother.
My brother, Samuel and I sighed at their complaints. They were getting themselves into an argument that can never be stopped. I wanted to about something important when all of a sudden the sky darkens and the lights in the room flickers. We were all sensing something in the mansion. Hades and Poseidon immediately became silent listening to the sound and raising our awareness up.
"Hades," I said. "Use your shadow travel to protect Camila and my daughter, please. Poseidon and I can take it over from here." Hades nods he immediately disappeared into the shadows and travelled out of the room.
The floor quake and the room began to shake. I held on Fay hand tightly and put a barrier up around her. Jamison ran up to Samuel to protect him from any harm. When the monstrous aura began to take action the lights in the room went off and the room stops it quakes. I closed my eyes and opens them back up with my fox eyes that are capable see in the dark. Once did, something was growling hungrily in front of me.
I wasn't afraid. The Ancient Ones are beginning to send their puppets to attack me. The stone monster looked at me with their glowing red eyes. Its saliva was dropping off the floor. "So hungry," the monster stated and behind them, there were bats all around the room with their red beady eyes.
I send a little ice magic to the stone monster blasting them away while I felt Poseidon powers were growing. The water from the bathroom blasted out into the room and Poseidon sends a wave to hit these monsters. He had cut off some bats with his powers but the stone monster wasn't cut down by one bit and there were four of them in the room. They were the size of a giant. Poseidon was really getting annoyed.
He summoned his weapon, trident. He hits the ground with his trident and the ground shook violently breaking apart as water resurfaced from the ground with the pressure the stone monster was pushed away from their standings and hits against the wall. While Poseidon did that I took some water from the ground turning them into ice shards. I created dozens of them and hit all the bats that were flying all over the air and trying to attack all of us, but some were too fast and dodged it.
I looked back at Fay and she curled up into a ball with her hand over the ears afraid. There were some bats who were attacking the barrier to get to them but couldn't. I summoned some shards to hit them, but they dodged it and it made them even angrier. In the end, I was forced to do something that I hoped Fay wouldn't have to see. I created ice shards in the bats' heart and rips them out of their chest falling off the floor tainted with the colour red.
Sensing the monster from behind me I face forward but my reaction was too slow. Its stone hand took my body up from the ground and I struggle to get out. Fay began to scream my name in fear that I may get injured, but I was the one who was afraid of what she'll see of me. Despite not having a heart in the monster chest it still has eyes. My eyes looked directly into his and the moment our eyes met. The monster wails in pain opening its palm of hands dropping me to the ground.
I landed onto the floor carefully, but the monster ended up becoming an ice statue. When I snapped my fingers it broke into pieces of rocks. I summoned the shards in his eyes and plucks it out flying towards my hands. As expected, the eyes were their weakness. I summoned every shard into three remaining stone monster and plucked out their eyes. The bodies fell onto the ground I managed to crumble one more monster to the floor while the other Jamison took care of it with his inhuman strength. Poseidon took his trident and smash the other into pieces. It was necessary. If we don't destroy the body the Ancient Ones have the chance to use recreate the monster again.
Although the stone monster was defeated there were still many bats in the room a bite of them can be very poisonous and it results in death. "Poseidon," I yelled. "Trap them in a water sphere." Hearing my call he created a water storm from the ground sucking every bats into the tornado. It wasn't exactly what I asked for but it can be done. Once every bats were in it I froze the storm including every bats in it. Thinking that everything was over. I walked to Fay, but what came next was unexpected.
One of the bats was able to escape from Poseidon storm. Instead of biting me, it pierced through my body from my stomach. Jamison yelled at my name and so did Fay. My knees fell towards the floor facing Fay. She is looking at me in shock.
I knew it. She has been watching me. She had used my magic without knowing it. She's been witnessing my wicked power. I gasp out blood while the bat let out a laugh trying to escape but it only made me angrier. I clutched my hand like I was strangling the bat. I looked over at it angrily and it shrieked loudly, but I didn't care. The bat was caught in the air suffocating from my grasp very slowly and it died of asphyxiation.
Jamison came over to me and began to heal my body once it recovered I took down the protective barrier from Fay. She ran up to me and pulled me to an embrace. "I thought I was going to lose you," she stated. My body felt weak. Did it bit me?
The Ancient Ones are doing everything they can to destroy me to perform a ritual. "I am fine," I lied.
In a short a while Hades came in with Amy and Camila. "Annoying pests," Hades commented describing the monster as pests. I laughed. He is still very strong.
He held the giant ruby red eyes in the palm of his hands and drops it to the ground. There were ten of them meaning that he fought five on his own. Looking around the room he started to control the earth pulled broken office floor together fixing them as the quake had never happened before. Then from the ruby, he sucked up every dark magic into his body and relaxed. I can totally understand why the Ancient Ones despised Hades it clear that he is just too strong at controlling back magic. He is just invincible at this kind of magic while his other siblings dark magic is not their forte.
Samuel ran up to Hades and checked his body while Hades just raise an eyebrow in confusion. He probably never had someone to care for him. It is a good change. "Are you ok?" Samuel asked.
"I'm fine," Hades said deadpanned.
"What the hell happened here?" Camila asked. "How is Kieran doing that and why is dad holding a trident?"
A very usual way of human behaviour. "They're not Kieran and dad, Camila. They are possessed by Hades and Poseidon." Camila opens up her jaws wide. She is still not used to this. If Fay knows about me being a hybrid god I think she'll be much collected but for Camila I think she will bang her head to the wall.
"I am Hisa Kanae," Amy spoke in a trance. "I am the priestess of the lost ancient times. I have come to warn all of you Zeus is captured. Go to Mount Olympus sav-" Somehow Amy stopped talking and fell onto the floor Camila quickly grabbed Amy and pulled into her. I rushed up to my daughter aid along with Fay and what I found out was that there was a string from behind her neck and it looks like it's been severed. Micah was controlling my daughter to say the things she needed to say to us but was cut off by someone.
I seethe in anger.
The Ancient Ones needs to be put down. I got off the ground. I looked at Hades and Poseidon. "Would you both go with me Mount Olympus? As I am right now, I don't have the power to defeat the Ancient Ones on my own. I need all the help that I can get with you two beside me I know we can get to Zeus."
"Fine," Hades sighed.
"Zeus is my sibling. I will not abandon my family," Poseidon commented.
"Count me in, sis. I can't let anything happen to you. You are my only family," Jamison stated.
"Then I believe you will need me," a void came out of nowhere and a familiar sound came into the room. Carlos appeared surprising all of us. He has aged. I can't believe he is here. He is supposed to be in Canada studying. "A little bird told us you need to get all the help you need."
"Calchas," Hades groaned.
"Stop groaning, Hades. You sound like an old man," Poseidon added.
"I hate that guy."
"You hate everybody, Hades."
"Shut up!" Jamison yelled. He couldn't handle their quarrel anymore.
I looked at my own nephew. He hosted Calchas, the seer. Calchas he also has the power to speed up someone death. He is powerful. I needed him as bad as it sounds. "Yes, please," I smile.
Calchas smiles. "Then I will be needing one more thing before we set out."
"What is it?"
"Carlos will be needing his Lumia ring."
I walked over to my desk and open up a drawer. A Lumia ring was sitting on it. I took it and tossed it over to him. He caught it and puts it on. The colour from the dead black stone was soon turned into deep purple with the L marked on it as the ring shrink to the size that fits Carlos small fingers.
"Let's go," I said. "Let's head to the Mount Olympus."
