Chapter 46 - Canteen

"So, How are we going to get in there uninjured? I think that we are going to end up being their companion if we go there like this." Xu Feiqun scratched his head in a dazed way. It was practically impossible go in there unharmed with a piece of wood as both defensive and offensive weapon.

It would be really nice if his boss was still there, then he could just follow him quietly as a follower without spending half of his effort. He reluctantly took back his thoughts and looked at others for their opinions.

Chen Yang pressed down his throbbing forehead and glared at the idiot fiercely. "If another word comes out of your crow mouth then you are going to be used as a bait."

"What!?" Xu Feiqun had a bewildered expression on his face as if he couldn't believe what he had just heard.

"I don't think that you would mind as you would end up as their companion anyway" Chen Yang mocked him while he looked at him condescendingly. He should have tied him with Li and send him off together, at best he wouldn't have to deal with this neuropathy.

"I knew that it would be no good meeting you here." Xu Feiqun had fiery eyes that were locked on the mocking expression. "Don't think I don't know that you are trying to get revenge for that thing."

Chen Yang stiffened and immediately glared at him furiously. "How many times do I have to tell you that I have long forgiven you about that."

"No way. I don't believe it." Xu Feiqun roared and refused to believe such nonsense. Before he could say something that would definitely add oil to the fire, he was suddenly stopped.

Yan Zheming covered his mouth with an displeased expression. "Do you guys still remember where we are?"

Qi Cheng had a grimace looking at the two wonderful creatures who had no sense of emergency. "You two can settle it after this. Let's not waste our time right now."

"Hmph." Xu Feiqun settled down and pulled away from the hand that was covering his mouth. He even had the leisure to glance at the hand to convey his contempt and displeasure.

Yan Zheming didn't want to pay any more attention to the retarded man even though he wanted to punch him so badly.

Chen Yang silently turned away his face with the intention of ignoring him. He didn't want to waste any more time fighting with him

Qi Cheng was troubled not knowing how to handle these lawless idiots. He thought that it would be better if Li could come back as soon as possible, Only he would be able to handle them with ease.

"But it does seem hopeless to get in there." Yan Zheming had no expectation to get in there safely.

"I also think that we shouldn't get in there," Qi Cheng frowned as he looked at the close building. There was only one way to get in and out of there and that was the front door. It would be extremely hard to get out even if they somehow managed to get in there. That would be another dead end for them.

Yan Zheming nodded his head appreciating that there was someone other than him who had common sense. It seemed that their group which was almost full of idiots wasn't completely hopeless. He was ready to turn around and look for other methods to fill their stomach when he was suddenly interrupted.

Chen Yang caught his arm and refused to let him fully turn around. He didn't want to give up. He was too hungry and god knows how long it would take them to find another source of food. "We can't afford to give up here."

Chen Yang was still rational enough to judge their situation even though he wanted nothing more than to sit in his bed and have a sumptuous meal.

It would be too late for them to look for food anywhere else and they couldn't remain hungry for the day, it would be very dangerous for them to fight and protect themselves from the zombies. He was more inclined toward fighting for the food rather than being passive and missing the chance to fill their stomach.

Yan Zheming hesitated. He also knew that it would be like that but at least it wasn't as dangerous as sneaking inside a building full of zombies. He felt like a coward but he couldn't care less when he thought that he would die otherwise.

"I'm really hungry too" Xu Feiqun gathered his courage and reluctantly stood on the same side as Chen Yang. He gulped and stared at his companions with all the courage and bravery he could muster "I say, let's take this risk."

Yan Zheming was tangled not knowing how to choose. He looked at the last member for further confirmation.

Qi Cheng thoughtfully tilted his head as he looked at others who were waiting for his answer.

Actually the most unwilling person to follow that plan would be himself. He wasn't sure whether he could survive or not if he followed them but he carried a certain resolve within himself that he could overcome it. He narrowed his eyes in determination and finally said his answer "Let's do this."

"There's no going back after this." Yan Zheming sighed in worry. He really didn't want to go in there and risk his life. "Alright. Let's move on before I change my mind."

"So, Whats the plan?" Xu Feiqun asked others as he was unable to come up with a feasible plan that could actually work.

"Let's do it like before." Yan Zheming hesitantly said, unsure whether they should just barge in with murderous aura or to apply a more peaceful method.

"Let's go then." Chen Yang didn't give him another moment to think over it again. He knew that he wouldn't be able to fight all of them head on but at least he was very confident that he could escape from them unharmed.

He thought that his friends could also keep themselves safe after all they were much more intelligent than him and zombies. He paused his thoughts and silently removed Xu Feiqun from the list. He was definitely more intelligent than that idiot.

"Ummm" Qi Cheng tightened his grip on the wooden rod pressing down the nauseous feeling that was catching up to him and paced forward with strong determination.
