Tatyana alighted from the carriage and headed in her house.
I really miss Rylls. Its only been two days and I miss him this much? Seems like I've become way too dependent on him.
She looked at the kitchen counter to see a pile of dirty dishes. When did I become so lazy? Look at all those dishes! When was the last time I washed them? The day before yesterday or something? Ive been so out of sorts lately. Can't I just make them get washed by just wishing it. Of course I can wish them to be washed. By adding a little bit of labor though. Let's get to work!
She went to her room and changed out of her chef uniform. When she got out, she was wearing a knee length black dress and went to take her apron from the kitchen. She carried the dishes out and got down to business. If people would see her, they would wonder why she was washing her dishes outside while she had a sink and a perfect drainage system. Daryl had once asked her that but she just replied him using three words and a shrug of her shoulders. "Force of habit."
She washed the dishes rather quickly than she expected. She washed the last one while singing a song that she had remembered. It was a lullaby, but she sang it whenever.
"Its time to slumber,
Rest your big head,
You are tired, after the day.
Stars shining bright,
Inviting you,
To their wonderland of imagination.
Drift away,
To your dreams,
Drift away,
To the farthest of places,
The sun in the morning,
Is waiting to see you,"
"But for now,
Rest your head and sleep."
Tatyana turned to look at the person who sang the last part. When she turned around, she saw a woman who had jet-black hair, beautiful green eyes, and slightly dark skin. She's really beautiful... Wait! That's not the point. Tatyana then stood up and looked around her searching for anything she could use to defend herself. To her right, there was a stick. It wasn't big, but, it was something. She quickly grabbed it and pointed it at the woman.
"Who are you? How did you get in my house?" She asked while pushing the stick forward, her arms slightly trembling.
Elayna took a step toward her slowly. Every step that she took forward, Tatyana would take another back. When Tatyana looked behind her, she saw that she was nearing the fence. She then decided to be more serious with the intruder.
"Don't take another step. I will not be afraid to use this." Elayna shook her head.
"You can't use something that you don't have, can you now?" Her soft voice asked. Tatyana quirked her eyebrow, wondering what she meant by that. Elayna waved her hand and the stick flew from Tatyana's hands. She smirked and waited for her daughter's reaction. Tatyana looked at the woman in front of her in disbelief.
"Stick...flew...my hand...you." She said and then collapsed on the ground. Elayna let out a gasp then slapped her forehead. She walked to her daughter to look if she was going to get up or if she had to carry her inside the house. Yup. She's definitely not waking up now. Maybe I should have taken a gentler approach? Meh. What's done is done.
She then carried her daughter using her telekinesis. She placed her on the sofa and hovered around organizing the messy room. She then went to finish the dish she had left outside. It was really easy for her to do those chores, since, she had powers. After she was done, she went to the kitchen to prepare some tea for the chat she was about to have with her daughter. She hovered a few centimeters above the ground while putting the water inside the kettle.
Tatyana blinked a couple times to get rid of the drowsiness in her eyes. She then looked across the living room to the kitchen and saw that hovering woman. She rubbed her eyes and looked at the kitchen seeing the same thing. She did this two more times and saw that she was seeing correctly. She titled her head as the woman walked to her carrying a tray. When the woman was close enough, she reached out and touched her hand. Elayna looked at her daughter wondering what was going on in her mind. She found out soon enough though.
"Man, this is some sick dream." She remarked as she touched herself too. "Nope I'm going back to sleep." She shook her head and buried herself in the blanket that she was covered in. Elayna leaned over and pulled the blanket off. Tatyana looked up and still saw that woman in front of her. Seems like this ain't a dream ay? Well, this sure is some sick reality.
She glanced at the woman sat across her. She was leisurely sipping her tea. Look at her, how can she drink her tea so carefree in someone else's house? She arched her eyebrow. She then decided on not talking about it. The woman then stood up to go and take some sugar. Tatyana looked at her wings once again. When she came back, she put her teacup down and looked at the woman in front of her.
"Where did you get those wings? They even work?"
"Want me to tell you how I got them?" Elayna asked as Tatyana nodded her head. She then stood up and walked to her side. She pulled her up from her seat and watched the terrified expression on her daughter's face, suppressing a laugh.
"Is this where you take me to an abandoned house and finish me off?" Elayna couldn't hold it in anymore. She bursted into a laughter that left her in tears. She then went behind her daughter and spread out her arms for her.
"You had asked me how to get wings right? I'm just showing you how. Don't worry, I'm not going to kill you." She said softly as she watched her daughter let out a sigh of relief. She then looked at her face with tenderness.
"Do you trust me?" She asked her.
"Of course not. I mean, put yourself in my shoes. A person shows up from nowhere in your house and then you faint. When you wake up, you find that person making tea and hovering around like a busy bee. Then, she walks up to you and pulls you up from your seat and stands behind you spreading your arms out. Would you really trust that person?" Elayna took a pause and processed what her daughter told her.
"Nope. I wouldn't trust that person.... Wait, that's not the point. Okay, so, to get your wings, just think of it and they will appear." She put it simply so that her daughter could understand. Tatyana looked at her as if she was very ridiculous.
"So, from what you're telling me, anyone can get wings if they spread out their arms and think about it? Oh my gosh! Why didn't I know this sooner?" She said in a sarcastic tone. Elayna shook her head and whispered in her ear.
"Not everyone, just you and me." Tatyana nodded her head still with her doubts. She's probably making fun of me. But, it wouldn't hurt to try. She then thought about it hard. Elayna let out a gasp and moved back. She looked at her daughter's back without any emotion.
"Well, it is your first time doing this so, I shouldn't have expected much." She murmured. Tatyana looked at the mirror in the living room to take a look at her 'wings'. She then let out a gasp and looked in awe at the two little wings on her back. They were almost ten centimeters wide. Very, very small. She then turned and looked at the woman behind her.
"Who are you? Tell me." She said in a serious tone. Elayna knew it was time to tell her everything. She walked to the sofa and dropped herself. Tatyana followed her and sat across.
"I'm so tired. You know, why tell you, when I can show you?" Tatyana arched a brow, not knowing what she meant by that. Elayna then waved her hands and the all seeing eye appeared. Tatyana shuffled backwards on her seat.
"What sorcery is this?"
"Its called the all seeing eye. Hmm. Now, where should I begin? Ah. What better place to start, than from the beginning?" With that she shushed Tatyana and they both watched what was happening.
It showed a teenage boy standing next to an old man.

"Erick, you should prepare to marry." The king said while looking at his son. His son pouted and turned to his father.
"I'm just sixteen but you want me to marry already? I'm too young."
"Son, you're never too young to marry. Just old. Trust me when I say this." The prince looked at his father very confused.
