How do I do this?! How do I put Hotaka on the good side of the club?
But I gotta worry about my studies... And my novel!
"What's the problem here? You seem out of it lately." Haruka told me.
I swallowed my pride and finally decided to tell Haruka the truth.
"Listen, this might sound a bit weird, but I need to tell you what's really happening..." I lowered my head.
"What is it?" Haruka braced herself for something.
"The reason why Hotaka and I met, was because he liked Kana..." I said with a straight face.
Haruka sat there in silence. Then proceeded to laugh.
"Hahaha! That was it?! Oh, man! I got scared for nothing! Okay, so? What are you so worried about? Do you like him too?" Haruka said and teased me yet again.
"It's more like, he wants my help to join the club." I replied.
"Hahaha! Why not just apply then? I mean, everyone is welcome, right?" Haruka said.
"This Hotaka sure is pretty stupid, huh?" she followed.
"I mean, yeah, but he's a good guy," I said to defend the helpless extrovert.
"Listen, just tell him to apply for the club, then let him find out who Kana really is, sound good?" Haruka gave me what I thought was advice sent from the gods.
Why didn't I think of that?! Just let him realize that Kana is not that as pure as he thinks she is!
"I guess I can do that!" I exclaimed.
Alright, that's the plan! Have Hotaka join the club and introduce him to Kana!
Then he'll see that Kana is a degenerate weeaboo!
...
Erm... I really shouldn't badmouth my fellow people... But it's true and I stand by it!
I thanked Haruka for the godlike suggestion and proceeded to head home. But unlike me, Haruka has a date with Yuji.
Wait, wasn't she the one who nagged me to study? Why is she fooling around while I'm trying to cram for exams?! Is she gonna cheat off of me?!
Chill... She's probably not the type of person to do that... Haruka is a responsible student, right? She just so happens to have a date today, right?
Yeah, yeah! Probably not!
