Another day passes, but it's different today! We finally have enough members to do club things!
I wonder what we'll do first...
As I thought about it, the girls and I entered our usual hang out spot. A diner where they serve cheap meals. But just because they're cheap doesn't mean they taste good!
"Oh! Guys let's sit there!" Hotaru pointed to a table in a corner.
We usually sit at another table, but seeing as it's occupied, we decided to sit at another.
We all sat down and ordered our usual orders to a waitperson.
"Oh! Hey, it's you guys again!" said the waiter.
"Sure is! We'll have the usual, please!" Haruka said.
"Alrighty! So that'll be three cheeseburgers, with one burger having no pickles, a foot-long hotdog, and a salad. Oh, and what about you sir?" the curious waiter asked Hotaka.
I forgot Hotaka was there...
Hotaka, suddenly under the spotlight, quickly opened the menu and started flicking through it.
Ah, I see we have another one of my people.
"I'll have, erm... The Cheese fries please!" Hotaka blurted out.
"Erm... You mean the cheese nachos?" the waiter scratched his head in confusion.
"Oh! Yeah! I'm so sorry I got it mixed up!"
Hotaka immediately bowed down to apologize.
Amidst this, the girls were laughing, while I just stared at him and sighed. So you mean to tell me, that this guy, the guy who forced me into getting into the club, was a freakin' shy blob?!
"It's fine! No need to worry! I'll bring y'all your orders immediately!" the waiter then walked away. And it seems that he's laughing to himself.
"It's alright Hotaka, you'll get it next time..." I attempted to comfort the embarrassed Hotaka.
"Yeah! Akari literally did the same thing when she first got here! Hahaha!" Haruka followed up.
I don't know if that was to comfort Hotaka or to insult me... But I feel like it's both.
After a while, our orders came and we proceeded to feast on them.
I ordered the cheeseburger with no pickles and a salad to stay healthy, Kana and Hotaru ordered just the regular one. Haruka ordered a foot-long because she said it was "practice"
... I don't get it.
We steered off-topic, I was monologuing about the club activities...
Well, considering that we are a media club. I guess like a movie or anime report? Something like that? I should probably ask Kana on what she has planned.
"Hey, Kana, since we already have enough members to do club activities, what are we gonna do?" I asked
"Perfect timing! Because I don't know!" She shouted.
...
...
What? She doesn't know?
"I wanted to ask you guys as to what we should do. I was thinking of doing a movie marathon with all of us." Kana followed up.
"That sounds pretty good, but what's the catch? There's gotta be a catch somewhere for an event so fun!" Haruka asked.
"Maybe Ms. Aiko will have us write a reaction paper about it..." Hotaru said and sighed.
"Yeah, so how should we go about this?"
I asked.
"Erm... How about like a TV Series?" Hotaka suggested.
"We should watch a single episode after school and write reports on the episode on a daily basis. That way we can like, erm... Improve our watching skills?"
Actually, that doesn't sound too bad! I didn't know this potato has a brain!
"Great idea! Alright, any others? 'cause if there's none, we're going with Hotaka's idea!" Kana said.
I have no objections to that.
"Alright! It's settled! We'll do that!"
"But what are we gonna watch?"
I asked.
Suddenly, Kana gasped, sat back down, and the group went silent.
The duo stared directly at Hotaka.
"Hotaka." Kana said.
"Yes!"
Hotaka said. You could hear the fear in that reply.
"Do you, watch anime?" Hotaru asked in a deadly serious tone.
"Erm... Yeah? Is that not allowed?" Hotaka said quietly.
Hearing that answer, the duo asked Haruka too.
"I mean, I watch it often. But I'm not that big into it." was Haruka's response.
Suddenly, the duo gleefully cheered.
"Oh, thank God! I thought I accidentally slipped there!" Kana sighed in relief.
"I thought we showed our weird side to a normie! Hahaha!" Hotaru said.
Hotaka laughed nervously and Haruka just smiled at them.
I have a feeling this is gonna get weird...
