I spent the rest of the night looking through the pages of each animal book I could find. Nobody tried to disturb me. I was looking throughout the shelves looking for any other books, when I found a book called ,"The Forbidden Forest". I snatched it off the shelf and opened it up to the first page. I gasped, "Why is it blank!?!". I looked through each and every page but they were all blank! I threw the book at the wall in pure rage. "Grrrrahhhhhh",I screamed. The door opened and Daniel came in and bowed. "Y...your highness… I've returned... um... is everything okay?" ,Daniel asked. I sighed and threw myself into my seat. "Everything is fine..." ,I said. Daniel picked up the book I threw at the wall and said, "The Forbidden Forest? What's that all about? Is it because you were lost in there?". I looked at him with a displeased look and replied saying, "No... I think I've found a connection, that's all.". He looked at me with his summer grass eyes, "What's the connection?" he asked.
I dreaded that question because then I'd have to explain. "I... I was attacked last night by a beast that spoke to me in my dreams, but I never saw it. I just heard it's voice in my dreams, it said that it was looking for me and that it has finally found me. I woke up and the beast was in my room. The beast spoke to me in person. Then, I... I got frightened... The guards came in and the beast jumped out the window... but it left behind a present for me... slaughtered farm animals all over my bedroom floor. I have reasons to believe that the beast I saw and heard, is the beast from the forbidden forest.". Daniel looked down and said, "The writing in blood that was written at each farm simply said, "Where are you, Astrid?", I think you are right. What do you want done to the beast?"". He handed me the book. I placed it on the table and said, "Nothing. I want it alive and unharmed. Let it come to me. It had multiple chances to kill me and others, but it didn't. I know that I told the farmers I'd kill the beast, but I believe that I cannot. It called me its bond mate which means I am bonded with the beast. If I get hurt, it gets hurt also. So, to put it to death, is to put me to death. Understood?" He looked at me and said, "I believe that is very wise, Your Majesty.". I smiled and agreed.
