Chereads / THE TWIN / Chapter 34 - A glorious sight

Chapter 34 - A glorious sight

When my gaze landed on something that made me pant, I am so blessed.

Ah, danger? meh, I will think about it later because right before me, appeared one of those creatures; I salivated like a madwoman, my arms spread as if to welcome this wonderful sight, my clouded eyes glazed from Lust and need.

Come to me, I beckoned inwardly... Ah, come so I can binge eat on you until my heart is content.

Until my hunger is sated... Ah, come to me.

It didn't move though instead, it spoke.

"In this realm, your kind was to be extinct, tell me little pup, how did you survive without a mother?"

It's voice was raspy, as if it was hard to speak the human main language.

Well, it should be hard the creature before me had no lips just a skeleton jaw, even if the rest of its face was flawless, its body as big as the giants around packed with muscle, claws at the tip of each finger.. Side note I think eight fingers per hand is creepy but this was.. I don't know not really easy to describe because it was in my mind eyes just food as big as it was.

My mind screamed, filled with various whispering voices, in my head they seem to force me to, I felt my mouth water, eyes focus, saliva gathering… falling while they turned it all into a beautiful chorus chant;

FOOD, FOOD, FEED, FEED, DEVOUR, SLAUGHTER, HUNGER, KILL!

was I going crazy?

My stomach caved in at that moment and I just spoke,

A simple reply, because I was silently thanking the black creature in front of me for gracing me with this meal so I might not die and my brain... Or rather, inner voices would shut up.

"Where I was, there was no need for one,"

By now I knew I was in another sort of form I couldn't feel it but as I looked down at my sort of claws, it was confirmed.

I know how I looked my husband had taken a picture once when I'd asked just to confirm if it was a mere illusion but it was not what I looked like it was something that was creepily beautiful.

In short, I looked like a beautiful nightmare; so achingly beautiful that you could not help but widen your eyes in both horror and admiration.

So beautiful that dying for me is a blessing more than a curse.

One can not help but worship me in gratitude.

Ah, what f**ked up descriptions he had said even going so far as to say.

It was a glorious sight so yeh someone as hot as my husband saying that made me feel even better, and I accepted those compliments all in stunting stride.

(blind love.. Narcissism is a damn sin!)

With that thought I smiled; it was beautiful.. In fact, I am always beautiful, but this is a pleasure of finally tasting something so lovely, so.

The pleasant flash of when I will attack this creature and binge eat it, clear in my mind.

"A glorious sight you are.."

Nachari

The secretary

Nachari was tasked with taking care of the female, after the guardians had disappeared in the last wave fighting against the grandros named the dark ones for their black flesh devoid of any light.

They had attacked, killing so many of his kind before disappearing. This was something we tried to fight against, but as the dead kept rising it was clear that they were failing more and more.

Nachari hadn't wanted Satrya to be too far away because she was his responsibility. Even if she had subjugated one and ate it before, that did not mean that satrya could get away if a group of two or four appeared as they seldom did.

When Nachari had seen her run off at top speed into the forested area, he grew fearful so many thoughts flitted through his mind, each of them of her death.

Using reason, Nachari had shoved the thoughts aside only because it was her and not any other.

Becoming her secretary and guardian. His eyes had seen many things, a warrior who had been battle harden most of his life fighting the Gradros who had thought he had seen it all had been surprised at the pure savagery of the female of whom he served.

Nachari had thought to that she was safe, that she just ran off... had thought she wanted to hunt or catch some fresh air but when he had found her after he had fought off the last of the grandros before it disappeared suddenly, he was met with a shocking sight.

With a mere word she could make even a god fall on their knees, as one who had witnessed it he knew it was true, a mere word to those who sought to please her all would be punished until she was satisfied and yet....

Nachari cursed himself. The master had been hurt so badly, suffered such severe wounds, all because they were unable to reach her in time.

Finding her bleeding out,

healing,

but slowly with a small young clutched in her arms.

The village had been massacre one of hundreds. Once prosperous beings known as the most powerful to walk the realm serving the guardians who protected our world were almost extinct.

"Bringing her here, what use is she if she is nothing but human?" one breathed. Anger caused him to growl low in distaste, he dared.

Satrya Benson was far from human, she may wear the guise of human unable to shift to the guardian as they all wanted but she had killed and ate the Grandros, it was something the guardians never did.

They slayed them, but they never ate them.

Satrya the last one alive to help them and their world was not like the others. She was better, more like a wolf in sheep's clothing.

In plain sight for all to see fooling those of how frighteningly dangerous she actually is.

Everyone thought that someone as delicate as her who looked and smelled human spoke like an idiot most of the time was a pushover, yet each move she made after each offense was one that terrified each of those who had the courtesy of laying eyes upon her perfection or arouse admiration and desire, a woman who was there but so far out of reach.
