Chapter 1 - Beginning {1}

In a small village in Surin located in a country called Thailand a commotion began as the well known daughter of a family in the village came back. With her were her two daughters. One was only a year old and the other was almost three.

She decided that she didn't want her daughters to live a terrible life growing up so she decided to bring her two daughters to her parents place so they could look after them while she went back to the city to find a job to provide for them.

She knew that they were going to be alright with her parents for they also took in her first born child Lawrence well even if she didn't want them to but they did and he seemed to be doing okay. She did feel guilty for not being able to be with her son but her mother fell in love with the boy and wouldn't let him leave with her so there was nothing she could do.

She stayed a few more days so that the young girls were able to settle down and get used to their environment before she left. When it was time for her to leave her youngest daughter Aspen cried not wanting her mother to leave her, While her eldest daughter Azalea did shed She a few tears she understood that her Mama needed to leave for something important.

Two years have passed since the day they were dropped off in Surand by their mother and the two girls were now used to their mother coming to visit once every few months although that didn't stop them from crying every time she left them again.

They were both sweeping the floor of the patio when they heard a car coming into the drive. They didn't live in a big house but it was big enough for the five of them they stay in. The girls would sleep with their grandparents while the young boy who was now ten almost eleven slept in his own room.

The car came to a stop and out came their uncle William. The girls screamed and ran up to him. He was one of their favourite uncle out of the three but if we're going to be honest it changes depending on who came to visit. Their mother ,Natalia was the eldest and only daughter of the family. Then there was the three boys.

The youngest Collin wasn't in contact with his mother in years due to a fight between his mother and Natalia years ago and so he decided to take his Natalia's side and left with her. William was the eldest of the three boys. He was more responsible and tried to keep the peace in the family now he was also the dearly loved uncle of his sister's child. Thomas was the second youngest. He was stubborn and hated how his sister had to give up school at a young age to provide for the family. This in turn for some reason made the relationship between him and Natalia terrible.

"How's my two favourite nieces?" William asked as he picked both girls up for a hug.

"Great!" Azalea and Aspen replied with a grin although Azalea knew that they were his only niece.

"Aspen! Azalea! did you finish your chores!?" Their grandmother shouted from somewhere inside the house. "Yes granny", the girls answered back. "Then you can go play now".

Azalea and Aspen headed off to the houses in front of theirs after telling their uncle they'd be leaving. William looked at the two girl's walking away to play with their friends. He shook his head with a smile they acted older than their age.

When they reached the houses they saw kids around their age playing. Azalea went off to play with the girls while a boy went up to Aspen happily.

Aspen sulked looking at Azalea and the girls because she wanted to get her hair done like Azalea as well.

When the boy, Elijah, reached Aspen and saw her sulking face he began looked at the direction she was staring at. His sister, Nora was doing Azalea's hair. Elijah tilted his head looking at Aspen again with curiosity. Elijah understood what was wrong so he began touching her hair, trying to copy the same action his sister was doing to Azalea's hair. He held up his master piece once he was done and looked at Aspens face. Aspen was smiling although she knew that Elijah probably messed up her hair short hair.

"Let's go play." Aspen giggled and took Elijah's hand. The three year old and the four year old began to play tag happily together.
