Looking at the unlocked jobs while he fueled the spell turning his system offline, Aki was not so surprised or interested in the forbidden knowledge mage and scholar variants, he'd found those forbidden things mostly by himself, so he actually didn't have a lot of the skills that would be helped by those jobs, but the monster variation was another story entirely. There was even a horde leader job in there.
Maybe it was time he started giving his citizens some passive buffs. Who knows, maybe he'd even unlock a guider job.
He'd make do with a king tipe though, since it wasn't like his law policies or the banners around town with inspiring messages on several languages were going to just net him one of the most powerful tipe of jobs out there.
He'd actually met two of what this world passed for heroes already. The one from the previous generation, who'd secluded himself after leaving his kingdom to his decendants, and the chosen of love, who roamed the world spreading radiance, beauty and love.
While neither had been specially noteworthy in the congregation of powerhouses, it was not the fighting prowess that made a guider. Inspirational bullshit asside, it was the fact they gave huge bonuses to all their allies in and out of the battlefield, besides getting stronger the more they did so.
Choosing the horde related job, since his last one had been maxed out from gaining the taboo skill thanks to the peculiarities of the hunter archetype, Aki could feel his very soul trying to reach out and form several more links, which he stopped. Luckily there wasn't a problem in allowing the already existing ones become stronger.
After teleporting his daughter home after explaining what the skill did, there was little more to be done but walts in the nearest temple of the goddess of life.
Since he was holding back his presence to an utmost degree, he started getting level ups on sneaking, but that also ment it took about fifteen minutes to properly maintain this state so he'd not be attacked while praying.
"I'll be direct, could you take back the sin mark please?" He imediatly said while looking at the motherly woman with several kinds of beauty in the ever changing way only a god would have.
"You... Resurected someone? How? You shouldn't have come into contact with such kind of knowledge yet. Was it the demon..."
"Save it. I will only bear two specific women talking to me like that, you hear?" He growled at the matronly goddess. "How I found out the ways to resurrect someone are unimportant, I only need to know if you would take back your sin mark in exchange for something."
"I understand. You bleed for your family still." She paused.
"No shit? Can you think of a way or do I have to start avoiding your church now?" He shrugged, not moved by her gaze at all.
"If you wish for a way to repent child, then you must first regret your actions. Any priest could have told you so."
"The past is unchangeable so I long learned to not regret minor things, nevermind that I would never regret protecting my daughter, but if all you want is my regret... " As he spoke, Aki produced and released 'regret' for obtaining the taboo skill despite it's uses. Then regret from not using those newly dead souls himself, with the bit of regret that some individuals he'd actually classify as good people also died to begin with. "More?" He asked, squinting his eyes in concentration.
"That is... Enough." She said with surprise in her tone. "I cannot, however, simply release you from the mark just like that."
"Thought so. What do you want? A giant statue, a session of my services, throwing some trouble child my way, fetching some lost artifact, destroying a cult or organization, you name it, just don't think I don't know what I'm worth." He nodded with disinterest.
"A... Session of your services?" She questioned.
"As far as I know, gods also get horny, and I know my soul stuff, so yeah." He shrugged again. He'd not be against doing the tall latina milf the goddess seemed to keep coming back too whenever he blinked, but his disgust at the idea would be distracting him from whatever pleasure he'd normally derive from having someone going crazy over his body or from being under his control.
"I will pass. I don't actually have a request right now, but I'm sure something will come up."
"But will you take the mark out now or does someone have to die for it to happen? Don't start on how this is a threat old woman, you know very well anyone with the stink of taboo is not welcome anywhere near civilized society." He pointed out.
"I can't take it off now, there is a reason..."
"Because of the energy build up from the idea of fulfilling a divine task, yes I know all of that, but you also know how many monsters I have made pray for you. For all I know, that should be more than enough to take out a newly cast curse that you made yourself."
There was silence for a while, and if the system was a bit different, the goddess would be receiving several notifications of -1 reputation for every moment she took to decide. As the goddess of love though, she could see those in another way, so she just sighed and sent her energy into the taboo brand.
"We all have great expectations for you, please don't..."
"Don't think you can just end the conversation on highger ground like some young lady, you hear?" He drily said. "I know very well what kind of relationship me and your pantheon have. The way you choose to deal with me just makes me narrow down what kind of mother you really are. I won't be your children's toy if that's what you planned." He squinted and said with determination, soul returning to body even as the priests were surprised to find a young man suddenly kneeled in front of the praying altar while holding a expression of pure peace, his hands still in prayer as he sighed and got up to leave.
The illusion stuff asside, Aki was angry. Not because of some spell or how he was treated, just because he was reminded of his family again. He was smart enough to know that even on the off chance he was able to return to his version of earth, a lot of time would have passed unless he also made a jump towards a specifict time, which was even harder since he was unable to even look at his coordinates in general, nevermind track time too.
He distracted himself with violence, love and magic, but he knew that there was a good chance he'd never be able to see his siblings grow, never visit japan to make sure his father was taking good care of them, never have his mother find a boyfriend again or just go tour the planet.
"Deep breaths, kill, murder, destroy. *SIGHHH* No need for dark thoughts, you just have to find more otherworlders and get their coordinates till you can void jump back and forth to your liking." He murmured, being completly ignored by all on the streets because of a... "You can hear me." He said, looking at the baby on the bench. "Nah, i'm probably just, wow, you're very bad at pretending, i didn't even get to finish my act." He pointed out with a raised brown and waving a hand to expand his bubble of 'whatever' and making the woman holding the baby start to loop her thoughts. "She's fine, just under a spell.'
'Who are you and what do you want?' Asked a male adult voice.
"Passing through the poty training, aren't you? My condolences. I just wanted to greet you though, not always that you find another stable minded earthling. And you can even use mind magic too! I can't imagine how borred you must be to have reached such skill levels while being an infant. Kids have lowered XP gain, you know? Though it can grant a lot of bonuses when you get older, it's even more of a bother than what i'm doing." He fired out while sitting on the bench and crossing his legs.
'Weren't you just murmuring some dark things just now though, are you really mentaly stable?... I just said that in the link didn't I? Fuck.'
"It's fine, though you're being babied by an assasin, you know?" Aki mocked with a grin, the young woman by his side clearly not having any signs of ever giving birth.
"'Wat?'" The baby asked in english, both fisicaly and mentaly. 'Impossible, Ana is too gentle to hurt even a fly! I saw her crying over spilled milk damn it!'
"She's got the whole job tree kid. Including spy and infiltrator. One of her titles say she is a dog of the Veruche dukedom." Aki shrugged, offering the possibility, which made the baby fisically sag in relief, that was clearly something that made sense to him. "Being an assasin has nothing to do with your personality. I love my wives, but that doesn't mean i don't want them to nail me in the ass till i can't..."
'TOO MUCH INFORMATION! What kind of thing are you even telling a todler in bright daylight?!' Complained the now angry baby while he snickered.
"For all i know, you're three times my age. You should prepare too, love involves a lot of kinky shit. And don't come with something like you're never going to fall in love bullshit, this world has cat girls, dog girls, lamia, elves that just want to fuck all day for a week without giving a shit what you do next, arachne, mermaids, har, those are actually not beautifull, but slime girls actually exist, so don't give up on your dreams timmy!" He nodded while explaining everything with a sagely air.

And so Aki passed the next hour just shit-chating with the reincarnator baby. He'd noticed through the fact the baby kept getting system notifications on skills, but aparently the boy had a natural XP multiplier and zero social practice.

"Why the fuck did you guys murder the entire place?!" He questioned, his arms to the air as he scremed at his blood soaked lovers, Kora and Clair not too far away with the little girl sleeping on the arms of her older sister. Three women pointed to the ophidian at the same time, making her unconfortable at the attention.
"I may have hunted their dragon lord, which led to the population all dropping dead while i fought it?" She wispered, not meeting anyone's gaze and trying to avoid the souless eyes of the corpses on the streets of the seaside outpost that Duran had recently come into contact with.
"Well, that throws a wretch at my plans, but as long as we can blame the dragon we can convince the nearby villages that..." Aki held his forehead while murmuring the later parts, a bit pissed something like this had happened. Whatever kind of pact these people had with the dragon it wasn't anything good, and maybe he'd even end up fighting some kind of evil god sealed away, but he was pretty sure things could still be fixed if he scouted ahead and informed the people living around about the outpost's demise and their intentions of trade after settling over with the pre-built houses (used by medium and larger government for land reclamation) and train station (only ussed by one country on the planet). Sighing, he stopped thinking about such and just went to hug his wife. "It's fine as long as you promise to try and avoid such shady monsters later on. I'm pretty sure it sacrifised these people to use a skill or the like, so at least train a bit more before trying to go head on with these things without me, ok?" He asked while holding her head and back agaisnt his body.
"Sorry." She meakly said.
"You better be, because you're playing sexy secretary when me and Mari solve this mess. Which includes ussing that suit and black heels i got for you plus plenty of lap pillows." He said while kissing the top of her head. Letting the groaning woman go and be hugged by the cat, Aki looked at the unnending blue a bit in the distance. Monsters and dangers he'd never touch or wish to imagine just waiting for him.
Walking towards his daughters, he kneeled, kissed Clair's hair, and held Kora's shoulder as he smiled, showing her his own fear and disgust through a mental link before running off to the sea while she was still shocked.
"I thought he didn't know how to swin?" Said Mari.
"He doesn't." Explained Xera, not nearly as worried as her wives. If someone could quickly learn a skill and use it on a life and death situation, then it'd be someone as prepared as Aki.
