Chapter 11 - Chapter 11

I woke up to a kiss on the lips from an unfamiliar face but with familiar eyes, "What the fuck," I said, and the face backed away as the sheet fell back. Then last night came back to me, "Allison?"

"Well, you remember last night better than I did," she said in a much deeper voice, "I'm guessing that turning back to a girl does not deal with all of that pain and throwing up."

I smiled, Aili still had that swimmer build to her but less of the model look, "You look sexy," I blurted, and she chuckled as I blushed and rested back on the headboard. "I didn't mean to say that, but it is true," I said. Then it was her turn to blush and my turn to chuckle.

Then she crawled up to my face and resumed her position on my chest, just falling right in between my breasts. What I felt in between my legs is what caught my attention; my eyes widened. "You did say that I'd kiss you awake, then fuck you," she said before kissing me on the lips.

I'd say that I'd rather have sex with a girl after that for personal reasons. We did have sex for a long time before we both fell asleep again from exhaustion.

This time I woke up to my phone ringing on the bedside table, "Hello," I croaked when I answered

"Is this Liz or Liam," a familiar voice asked, and I debated not answering until I checked the caller ID.

"This is Liz; what's up Tracy," I asked, and she sighed

"I thought you changed your phone number by how many times I tried calling you two," she said, and I chuckled

"No, sorry about that, we were busy spending time with each other and being busy with a president and a presidential candidate," I explained. "Everything okay with you," I asked her and heard a groan on the other end

"No, mom, I am not talking to my soulmate; I'm talking to Liz," I heard her say on the other end. "Not really; the girl I was dating ended up not being my soulmate; I was wondering if you could somehow help me. Also, I want to see you two," she said, and I smiled

"We'll be glad to help and see you," I said as Aili walked out of the bathroom with no clothes on still. "Just let me forewarn you Aili is currently male due to this address; I don't think you want to be caught by surprise with that kind of thing," I added as Aili hurried to the closet

"Good to know, just send me the address when you're ready to receive guests," she said

"Will do; see you later, Trace," I said, then hung up and walked up to the closet that Aili walked into. She still stood there butt naked, "Are you okay," I asked her as I saw her flex her fist. "What's wrong," I asked again, "I can tell her to come tomorrow if it makes you feel better."

"I would like to have a peaceful day for once; I didn't really get the chance to prepare to be a man today while you had the chance to prepare," she said, and I nodded.

"Okay," I began, "I will tell her to come tomorrow, that seems reasonable enough," I said, starting to walk out of the closet, but she grabbed my hand.

"I want to spend the whole day with you with nothing happening," she said, "ever since we got here was, 'surprise, a minor goddess is cooking us breakfast.' Then politics comes, and even when you were preparing to become a man, we were busy cleaning the house; we hadn't had time to ourselves since we first got here. Could we please take a break today," she asked with tears in her eyes.

My lips thinned into a line as my heart broke when I saw those tears well up in her, no his, eyes. "I will cancel as much as I can if there's something that's supposed to come up," I said, and he smiled. "Let me text Sam and Tracy, then we can get to spending time with each other."

"Thank you," he breathed before letting me go, and I smiled softly

"You, my dear, owe me cuddles of the non-sick variety," I said, and he smirked as I grinned

"You got it," he said as I walked out of the closet, grabbing my phone before heading to the bathroom real quick. In the bathroom, I text both Tracy and Same

'Hey, Aili wants a break today if that's fine with you, we haven't had a lot of time to breathe since everything started happening, and it's taking a toll on her.'

I sighed as I leaned back on the toilet seat; I haven't had a lot of time to think either. There hasn't been a single person that was a reporter come here by either tailing Aili's car or Cliff's. I shook my head as my phone vibrated twice.

'Tracy: Hey, that's fine; we all need our breaks from time to time. Just text me when you two are ready to help me.'

I smiled at Tracy's response then opened Sam's

'Sam: That is completely fine. You two didn't have any plans after you said that Aili wasn't feeling well last night.'

I grinned then got off the toilet, washing my hand before leaving the bathroom, "Our day is cleared," I said to the silent room that I opened the door to. "Aili," I called as I heard some struggling coming from the closet, then a door close. I reached into the bathroom grabbing a robe from the hook on the door, and rushed towards the closet. I pressed my ear against my door before trying the handle. I opened the door and saw clothes scattered all around the place, "What the fuck?"

I ran down the stairs once I heard the sound of glass breaking, "You fucking bitch telling us what to do with our lives and our relationships," I heard a man yell. "All you're even doing up here is fucking around and enjoying your famous life ever since this started, you're working for the government, and for that, you should die."

I crept along the wall and saw the man in black pulled out a gun, "Wait," I yelled. "That is not the person who spoke yesterday. You want someone to attack," I licked my lips. "Attack me, not her," he glanced at me, then Aili, then back at me as I held my hands out in defense, thinking what the hell happened to the alarm system that I set up last night.

"How do I know that you didn't switch places overnight," he growled as he pointed the gun at me. "How do I know that you're not going to kill people who don't have a name on their wrist?"

"We were thrown into this just as much as you were," I said calmly, "we don't know what's going to happen to the people who don't have a name; that was the first thing that Aili asked me about when our college emailed us. That's Allison. I'm Liz; this is messing us both up just as much as it is messing you up. We just finished our first year of college. Today would be our first day to relax without visitors bursting through our doors. We were only roommates who were crushing on each other when this started. Do you think that we'd find each other as soon as this started if we knew what was going to happen? Do you think we even want to work for our current president? We're college students trying to have just as normal of life like you want. We were caught by surprise as well," I finished as he stared me down.

"Then why did you say what you did before the address yesterday," he asked with a growl.

"Because I was trying to tell people that it's okay to be unsure of their feelings and that this will be normal soon and the virus will be over soon. I wasn't trying to bash anybody. I was trying to let people know that there's nothing that a person can do with their soulmate other than get to know them. I'm pretty sure if Allison didn't have that crush on me before this, we would've gotten to know each other a different way. She would be content on getting used to things instead of forcing me to be a man. We can't change the name on our wrists. Still, we can compromise with our soulmates to be comfortable," I finished looking towards Aili, who was lying on the floor unconscious. "Please don't do this. We need each other just as your soulmate needs you," I said

Apparently, that wasn't the right thing to say because the next thing I knew was I was on the floor with pain in my chest drifting into the darkness of my conscience.
