Chapter 9 - Chapter 9

I opened my eyes as pain woke me up once more, but this time it was pain from being shoved off the bed and a sudden scream of fear. I instantly stood up and looked for danger, but I didn't see any. As I turned in the mirror, I saw a man looking back at me, short dirty blonde hair with a muscular torso that still had a sports bra on. Then I saw the girl cowering in fear on the bed that I was pushed off of me.

"Thanks for that kind of wake up Aili," I muttered, taking my bra off

"You know me," she asked fearfully, and it broke my heart

"Remember last night," I said, "all of yesterday where I was a girl, and you made me have an orgasm like twelve times before I turned into a male?"

"Liz," she asked, and I grinned, rubbing the back of my head, which hurt from the fall.

"Yep," I answered

"Show me your arm. I wrote something on it for when you woke up," Aili ordered, and I showed her both of my arms. My left one bore her name and the words 'I love you' right underneath. "Liz," she cheered, throwing her arms around my neck, "I am so sorry that I threw you off of the bed," she muttered into my neck. "I forgot," she said, and I chuckled.

"It's fine, I forgive you," I said as I hugged her back

"Your voice is deeper and soothing," she said as she snuggled closer to me, "not Morgan Freeman relaxing but still relaxing."

"Am I allowed to sit on the bed now without you freaking out," I asked, and she nodded, pushing me away slightly. Once I rested against the headboard, she started tracing my abs towards the v-line that I was given.

"You're so built," she muttered, then slid her hand under the sweatpants that I was wearing and widened her eyes. "How," she started, and I scrunch my forehead in confusion.

"What were you expecting, me not to have a dick," I asked as I slid off my sweatpants.

"I wasn't expecting it to be that big," she said, "wait, is it already hard?"

After she asked this, she looked up at me, and I smirked, "Yes, it is," I answered, then started kissing her. "It's because you're so fucking beautiful," I said, and she giggled, but once those giggles turned into moans, I knew that I was doing my job. After the consent was given, I continued.

Soon we were both panting, but I got her back for each moment she got me yesterday, even with the address.

"So I see that one of you went through with the gender change," Cliff said, walking in when I opened the door. "Or are you the danger back up," he asked.

"No sir," I began just as Aili came back panting, "I went through with the gender change since we both agreed upon the fact that I would fit the role of a husband better. I also agreed with it because I wanted to see how it went," I added, and he smiled.

"So what do you two think about the gender difference," he asked, and I looked at Aili, who glared at me.

"What," I asked, and she smiled, "you never told me whether or not you like it," I said in defense, and she laughed. "You knew that I was going to get you back from yesterday," I said to her, and then she doubled down in laughter. I turned to Cliff, "So far, I like it a lot. I don't know so much about her, though."

"I like it. One thing's for sure that I will enjoy when I'm trying to get pregnant after marriage," Aili said, and I smiled. "But until then, I would like my soulmate to be the gender I met her in," she added, and I grinned. "If she is fine with that," she said, and I smiled.

"I am completely fine with that," I said, then looked at Cliff, "we made an agreement to only have the gender change when one of us wants to be pregnant, so the other soulmate doesn't have to miss out on the pain."

Cliff nodded, "That is a wonderful plan. I do hope you are using condoms now if you don't plan to have children yet," he said, "birth control doesn't always work."

Aili glanced at me, then at him, sighed before walking away

"Don't worry," a voice said from behind us, "the sperm isn't active in you until twenty-four hours, so you can have sex without getting her pregnant today, and that's it."

I spun around and saw Sam standing behind me, "That's a relief," I said, "what brings you here, Sam?"

"I am here to be your security for this address since you two are also going to be presented in the first public outing," she said, and I nodded. "Clothes have already been set out for you two. You may as well get ready," she said, and I nodded. "Liz, have you decided on a male name yet," she asked, and I nodded.

"I think Liam will suit me well," I said as Aili came and started tugging on my arm.

"Well, come on, Liam, we're on a clock," she said, and I nodded, finally letting her pull me along.

After a YouTube search on how to tie a tie, I was almost ready. "Where do you think they are

having the address," I asked Aili, who was currently in the bathroom getting ready.

"Probably outside so people can be spaced out more for social distancing," she answered as I buttoned the two buttons on the blazer.

I adjusted the cuffs and combed my hair back, "Yeah, but that provides more of a risk of a possible assassination," I said, working on my shoes now. "I think it would be best to have a few reporters on the bottom floor while Cliff makes his address on the balcony at the entrance."

"Who would assassinate a presidential candidate," she asked me, and I shrugged as I straightened the blazer once more.

"I don't know," I said once I adjusted my tie once more, "no matter what gender, I hate dressing up," I muttered. I didn't look too bad in a suit, but it did seem weird that I was ready within minutes while Aili was still getting ready.

"I'd probably be the same way," she said without the echo that came from the bathroom.

I turned around, and my heart skipped a beat, "You'd be the prettiest girl out of all of us," I said once my heart started beating normally.

She was wearing a full-length dress that was sparkly but not too much to have it look like a prom dress. Her makeup was natural as she was wearing rose gold jewelry. The dress stuck to her frame, showing her curves, and fell beautifully onto the floor while her hair layed on her shoulders gently curled.

She blushed a little more than the makeup that was on her face, "No," she began, "that would be more you than me."

I smiled, "No," I said, and she looked up at me, "I'm pretty sure the next time that we'd have to dress up like this again, I'd be a man, thus making you the prettiest girl; in the event."

She smiled, "And why would that be," she asked me, and I smirked, walking towards her.

"Two reasons," I said, holding up my fingers, "the first is that you're already more beautiful than I am. The second is that we have to have people know who the man is in the relationship," I explained, and she glared at me. "I'm kidding. The second reason is that I'm pretty sure you want one of us to be a male at our wedding."

She shook her head, "No," she said, "when our wedding comes, I want to marry the person I met and not have her change her looks based on my tastes. I'd want to marry you as you are. That's what I want, you as Liz unless you like being male, then I will marry you as Liam."

My heart melted at that as I smiled, looking into her beautiful eyes, "Then I will be who I am and tell you if I ever want to change," I said, tucking her hair behind her ear. "Gods, you are so beautiful," I whispered before I pecked her on the lips. The peck lasted longer than intended because she fell into the kiss and grabbed my crotch. I groaned, "Why do you have to do that to me when we probably have to go on camera for this address?"

"I mean, you do need the full male experience," she said with a mischievous look on her face. "You tease me; I tease you seem fair."

I groaned as a knock sounded on the door, "You two ready," Cliff said from behind the door, "I have to talk to you about a few things."

"Yeah," Aili said as I straightened my blazer once more, more to hide my friend trying to show than to straighten the wrinkles out, "We're ready."

Cliff came beaming; a suit similar to mine replaced that casual clothes we had met him in. "Well, don't you two look dashing," he began as I crossed my hands in front. "Aren't some soulmates terrible," he asked, and my lips thinned into a line, "I promise you'll get some time for retribution after this."

I nodded, "Thank you, Cliff," I said, glaring at Aili

He returned the nod, "Now about what you two will be doing for this address, I want to clear some things up."

"You may go ahead," Aili said gently.

"You two support me, right," he asked, and we both nodded, "who would be the speaker of you two?"

Instantly Aili pointed in my direction, "I will be the speaker for us if she insists," I said, and she nodded.

"I want you to say that you both have my back, and I also want you to say something to the soulmates finding each other. Be gentle about it too, mention how you found each other so quickly. Explain something along the lines of how you knew each other. Give the people a boost since they may be down in the dumps. Also, say something to the people fighting Gay relationships," Cliff explained as I answered with a nod. "Aili will be right next to you if either of you needs any grounding," he added, and I smiled.

"Thank you, sir," I said, and he nodded.

"You guys have five minutes. I will introduce you as Liam Layzer and Allison Ransom. Liam, you can explain how you are male for now and that you will go back to your original gender because of this trail," he said. "By the way, good job getting a suit on," he added before walking out the door.

Once he was out, I sighed, "You alright," Aili asked, and I nodded, "nervous?"

"Yeah," I said, "I wasn't expecting to say that much, but here we are," I said. "Do I have permission to mention our plan with trying for pregnancy," I asked Aili, and she smiled.

"Of course you do; you can even mention how we originally knew each other as roommates and that I was straight until I started having a crush on you," she said, and I grinned.

"Thank you, I have a plan. It may also have to do with what we just talked about, too," I said, and Aili nodded.

"Do what you have to," she said, walking up to me and taking my hands, "I will be here no matter what."

I smiled, "Thank you so much," I said, "let's go wait in the wings," I said, and she nodded. Soon we made it to the balcony, which was all set up with cameras and signs with Cliff's name on them.

Within minutes the floor filled up with reporters as we saw Cliff standing across from us with that same smile on his face. Two minutes later, he took the podium.

"Welcome," he began, "before I begin, let me thank you all for coming here to the beautiful city of Detroit," Aili snorted. "And welcome people who have been the center of attention for the presses—almost as much as this virus. I also want to thank them for their hospitality and their kindness," he paused. "Ladies and gentlemen. Let me introduce you to your first soulmates Liam Layzer and Allison Ransom," he said as we started walking to the podium with a smile on our faces.

"Thank you for your kindness Cliff," I said, "let me begin with how thoughtful this man is. He came up to our doorstep the night after we moved in here. He brought people to help us clean this beautiful place you are currently standing in. The generosity coming from this man is why my soulmate, Aili, and I are backing him up for his run. Before this project started, Aili and I only knew each other as roommates, her being straight and me being bisexual. My real name is Liz, I am currently a male for this event, but I want to tell every one of you not to be afraid and love yourself and your soulmate. Aili and I were lucky that we originally had a crush on each other, but some of you may not be that lucky. Some of you may not know your soulmate as we did, but that shouldn't keep you away from them. Get to know them before you ask for them to change; your view may change once you get to know who they are. Remembering how Aili was straight when we were only roommates, my thought process was to only be male for our marriage and when we tried for kids. Aili had told me that she'd like to marry the person she met the gender they're comfortable with. Aili had told me that she wasn't going to force me to be a guy for our wedding and whenever we decided to try for children. She is fine with me coming up and saying that I want to be male instead of female. Still, her ultimate goal is to marry her soulmate in any way that I'm comfortable with. If you see that years later we are getting married as two girls, then you'll know my decision. But all I have to say is don't be afraid to make changes to your life. This point of time is a historical time, a time full of changes with both the Soulmate Project and this virus which we all hope to be over soon but not too soon. We don't want to mourn more losses than needed, so I urge you to be sensible and stay safe and stay home. Aili and I both applaud and thank the essential workers for their work during this hard time, and we wish them the best of luck. Now, let me transfer the microphone to your presidential candidate, Cliff Lee," I said before stepping from the podium and clapping with the people on the floor.

"Thank you, Liam," he said, taking the podium once more, "now before this wonderful couple leave, do you two have any questions to ask them?"

One reporter raised his hand, I nodded in his direction as Aili linked her arms through mine. "Were you ever together before this, or was it just you two developing a crush on each other afraid to tell the other person?"

I looked at Aili for approval to answer this question since it would be a little personal for her; She nodded. "No, we weren't dating beforehand; we were afraid to tell each other for different reasons. I was afraid to tell her because, first of all, I only knew that she was straight at the time, and second of all, I was afraid to be pushed away for personal reasons. She was afraid to tell me because she was coming to terms with her having a crush on me and being bisexual as well. She is the kind of person that doesn't like people assuming things that will eventually happen in her life that was part of the reason."

I nodded to the next reporter, "Will you date during your college education, or will you go straight to marriage," he asked, and I smiled.

"I will say for both of us that we're going to finish our college education and date throughout that. I'm pretty sure we both want a formal proposal. There are probably some things that we don't know about each other that I'm pretty sure dating will help bring up," I answered as Aili clung to me, sneaking her hand down to my crotch. I nodded to Cliff, saying that we're done, and started walking off of the balcony.

"Okay, let's hear it for Liam and Allison," he said as we walked away and to our room.

"Was I good," I asked once the door was closed, and Aili walked towards me

"You were wonderful," she said, kissing me and reaching into my pants, "I'm just horny," she added before we made out and had sex for the thirteenth time that day.
