Kamigani smirk dissapeared as soon as she stepped out of the room, she didn't bother to close the door, she walked out briskly left the door the guard was supposed to be guarding ajar making her way down the corridor and right at the foot of the staircase was Ienlouch. He was pacing and stopped suddenly looking up the stairs, he wasn't smiling and only wore a worried expression which made Kamigani walked slowly down the stairs, her gaze fixed on Ienlouch.
"Kamigani." He said placing his hands on the jug while gazing at Kamigani with complicated expression. he pulled the jug collecting it from her.
"Ienlouch." Kamigani spotted that some of the flashy people were looking towards their direction, some mouth were even hanging open since Ienlouch collected a wine jug from a servant. She quickly bowed awkwardly standing on the riser. She was only a servant and she doesn't want anyone to report her of being disrespectful to Ienlouch. Why would he even collect the jug.
Ienlouch looked a bit flabbergasted taking a step back. Kamigani only raised her hand to collect the jug only for Ienlouch to take her hand, her small hand fitting right into his larger ones as he led her to take the final step down.
"Hmmmm I should go."
"Sure let me walk you." He said politely as his fingers laced with her own pulling her towards the door like it was the most natural thing to do.
Kamigani was confused. Wasn't it the display of lovers or who goes around lacing their hands with a servant. She risked a look at the flashy people and some mouth were hanging open, she could swore she heard something break as they exist the massive living room.
Kamigani wanted to withdraw her hand or tell him it was inappropriate but each step Ienlouch took was a determined step like he had a destination in mind.
"Ien.....!" Someone yelled when they exist the gate and Kamigani turned to see a girl in flashy luxirous robes running in full sprint towards them, she held up her skirt to allow her free movement, her braided hair bouncing with the wind.
Ienlouch quickly gave the jug to Kamigani only for the girl to jump on him giving him a bear hug, her body wrapped around his torso. Ienlouch tried to regain his balance as he stepped back hugging the girl to steady them and prevent them from falling. "Pretty ReaMae you are crushing me." He chuckles patting her back lightly.
"I miss you I miss you I miss you....!!!" She yelled her arms freely wrapped around his neck and Ienlouch started struggling to get free from the girl that acted crazy.
Kamigani stepped back, she doesn't know who the girl was and she wasn't interested in knowing. She was about to leave when she felt a sudden chilling dangerous aura on her as a silent breeze tickled her hair making goosebumps appear on her neck.
Danger!
Without thinking Kamigani turned sharply rasing her leg high to attack the unknown force only for them to dodge her kick, she twirled around, her hands placed on the base and top of the jug as she somersaulted back taking a fighting stance.
There few feet from her stood a tall man dressed in black, his dark hair was smooth like silk and flowed loosely reaching his waist. His eyes were a lighter shade of grey and he was devilishly handsome standing like an unformidable rogue. He was no longer emiting the dangerous aura and was looking at her clearly amused.
Kamigani eyes widen since she just displayed an act to show she was clearly versed in martial arts. She straightened turning to see the girl which jumped on Ienlouch looking shock and Ienlouch mirrored her expression. It wasn't rare to see people versed in martial arts but her own display was a little extra acting on reflex. She was supposed to stay low.
"I am Emi." The man stated before the corner of his mouth curved up in a small smile.
Ienlouch almost pushed the girl off him and quickly stood in front of Kamigani blocking her view forcing her to meet the enchanting golden eyes. "We should go." He said softly.
"Ien do not ignore me!" the girl demanded as she walked right up to stand in front of them staring at Kamigani.
Kamigani could see the girl was really short and couldn't be more than thirteen. Her eyes were dark and she had a small round chubby face. She pouted looking at Kamigani from head to toe.
Kamigani doesn't know whether to bow or not. They could see she was dressed in servants robes even though hers was a little different from what others wear but 'serving girl' was written all over her.
"This is ReaMae my sister....."
"Pretty!" ReaMae yelled.
"Pretty ReaMae my sister." Ienlouch corrected. Emi approached them, his height towering above them waiting for an introduction. "Emi my friend and also ReaMae bodyguard." He explained dryly.
The presence of Emi reminded Kamigani of her display. She prayed silently they all continue to act like nothing happened like they were doing not even bringing it up.
Kamigani bowed "I am Kamigani and I have to serve his Majesty wine." She said too quickly before walking away, glad that ReaMae was now yelling at Ienlouch and keeping him from leaving but she could feel a certain grey eyes on her.
Kamigani heaved a sigh of relieve when she rounded a corner. It was a long walk to the garden and she ignored all eyes directed at her. All she wanted to do was to get to the garden without getting anymore delayed. She doesn't want the King to give her position to someone else because she wasn't punctual.
Getting to the garden, there were guards at the entrance but the gate was opened widely, they smiled at her warmly and she only increased her pace starting on a path.
Kamigani stepped into a maple tree tunnel that created a canopy as the sun shyly penetrated some open spaces between the leaves, the ground was filled with dry leaves and she could almost feel the soft grass caressing the sole of her shoe. She walked down the path feeling like she just stepped into another dimension feeling the fresh breeze only for her to step into a flamboyant tree tunnel, there were small blue birds singing and perched on the branches and below it were peacocks. Walking down she saw a small path filled with small white stones leading away from a lone big wisteria tree, cherry blossom trees and tall green trees.
Sweet fresh smell assaulted her nose as she stepped on the white stones made to form a path. Rolls and columns of sunflowers dancing to the wind filled the mass land as the fresh air caressed her cheeks. She was so engrossed looking at the sunflowers that was aligned and next was the bird of paradise, white roses, dahlia, bleeding heart....
It was breathtaking she almost forgot to breath, she got to a stream where a small white bridge crossed over it. The stream was so clear with tiny fishes swimming in it and water lilies floating on it. She walked down the path and at her right was a murky pond with lotus on it and right then she felt tears rolling down her eyes. She doesn't know but she felt the overwhelming happiness and sadness and a lot of emotion she couldn't place. she couldn't stop the tears from pouring down her face when she spotted the tulips at a side and the orchids she love so much.
The jug she was holding long forgotten, she missed where she came from she had no memory about, she missed the family she doesn't know, she missed not being able to share this view with Cecil. How could all the flowers bloom at the same time? how could all the trees looked so bright? this was truly magical, this was truly a garden blessed by Heaven. This was the royal paradise garden.
She sniffled as her gaze trailed down to her hands and her eyes widen, her mind clicking on her purpose of being there. She turned to continue on her path only to see a marvelous extravagant crimson pavilion and right on the rail was the King in a crimson robes lined with golden embroidery, his dark veil in place looking down the path at her with his sharp blue glassy eyes and he blended right into the scenery like a beautiful classic untouched painting.
