Maggie always knows how to cheer me up. And I appreciate Dr. Cohle for being so understanding. I've had her for 8 lectures so she and I know each other pretty well. I even babysit her kids sometimes.
I was actually completely honest with her and just said I was having some boy trouble and needed to just do some me things and she encouraged it. Literally the best prof ever!
Maggie and I went to breakfast first and it was so nice. I told her everything that happened the night before and she get DJ bad she told Sawyer she wouldn't be seeing him any more this week because she wanted to be there for me. Sawyer offered to buy us snacks and a movie for tonight even, he was so understanding.
Maggie and Sawyer met freshmen year. They were chem lab partners, very cliche. Sawyer is great. He's on the basketball team, also a Bio major, he is on the student senate and is a part of a club that volunteers with kids. He wants to be a pediatric oncologist and just really wants to make a difference. Somehow with all he's involved in he still finds time to treat Maggie like she's his whole world. I can't wait for their wedding one day!
Once we got to the mall Maggie headed straight for Victoria Secret.
"Maggie we are supposed to be finding me an outfit for my date." I laughed.
"We are" she winked
"Mags! This is our first date! I've barely even spoken to him before yesterday!"
"Livi, you need to be ready for any situation and your underwear isn't going to cut it, sorry!"
We went in and Mags started grabbing a bunch of underwear and a few bras. Luckily they were all from the sale section. I mean contrary to what Stella tells everyone, I'm really not poor. I work a lot of the summer and other breaks. And my full ride makes it so I can actually spend my money on me and not send it straight into tuition. But I still don't like spending a lot of money. I'm a bit cheap hahah.
After Maggie got me enough lingerie to sport a new look everyday of the week we headed to American Eagle.
It was a lot of fun and at the end of the trip I owned jeans! And some cute dresses, skirts and tops.
We made one more stop to Payless to get some cute shoes that weren't my running shoes or chacos. I thought we were all ready to leave when Maggie took a detour to Sephora.
"Oh girl you need more make up then a lip stain and my old mascara!"
I looked at her terrified. I don't. Do make up.
"Don't worry, we are going to stick to natural looks, just to help you play up you assets."
Once we finally left the mall I had enough stuff to basically be a new person. We got back just in time to put my new things away then head to practice.
