Oliver pulled into the driveway and had barely brought his car to a halt when the yells and endless ruckus from within the house struck his hearing.
"Oh no", he said to himself before getting out of his car after applying the handbrake.
Without caring to turn the engine off, he raced to the door and knocked on it softly. His presence seemed to bring the chaos to an end and usher through some silence before footsteps approached the door and he watched the door slowly get pulled away.
"Oliver", Vukan's mother greeted with a wild smile. "We weren't expecting you. How are you?"
"I'm fine Ma", he responded with open arms before sharing a brief hug with Vukan's mother.
He looked around the room to see his boyfriend nowhere but his father slightly leaning against the kitchen wall with a frown.
"it is good to see you, son", the man said as he drew closer.
