Alex's breath hitched. He was looking directly into June's deep eyes. He felt his pants material tighten and cursed her a thousand times in his head.
He didn't know why he couldn't get away from her. He simply couldn't. He didn't understand it but he didn't feel the need to either. But he knew one thing for sure...that he was in love with her. Deeply.
"How weak do I make you feel Alex ?"
Alex closed his eyes and took in the delicate peony and jasmine notes that laced her white suit. "Very weak", his voice was husky and rich. It was turning her on.
June smiled softly before remembering that this was Alex. It wasn't her lover. It wasn't Sebastian. She shut her eyes for seconds before pressing her lips against his.
Her hand grabbed a fistful of his hazel locks. She tugged his hair with a gentle force eliciting from him soft moans against her lips.
He kissed her back with almost the same intensity. His lips hungry for contact. He pulled her closer to him, his hands wrapping themselves against her body.
June pulled away to catch her breath her hands still in Alex's hair so when he tried to kiss her back she pulled his face away from her. She made herself comfortable in his lap and lay her head against his chest.
He let out a deep laugh amused with this. "I can't figure you out"
June kept on poker face and slowly ran her index's finger nail against his face admiring his deep blue eyes. "You'll never figure me out" she said as she looked into his eyes.
"Do you really want me to go ?"
"Can I really ever forgive you?" June whispered as she remembered everything that happened to her.
Alex gripped her arms hard, "you don't want to remain stuck there don't you ? You have to move on, Harrison influenced a lot of my decisions jun-"
"Forgiveness is not easy. Especially for someone like me Alex, I don't like forgiveness " June's eyes become full of emotions , "what can I do ? I can't keep you and I can't let you go"
It dawned on him. He saw a part of her she didn't dare reveal to anyone. He knew everything about her yet he never really saw her. He never felt her. And today he did.
He was supposed to make her happy and content because he loved her but that's not what he did. He took advantage of her.
What did I do ?
June stood up and straightened herself.
Alexander stood up too and caught her hand. "Trust me June"
June lowered her head and took a deep breath, "you gave me reasons not to Alex" she said as she walked away.
"And by the way two hundred grand each month for your stay here since you don't want to leave at least make it fruitful"
And he watched her walk away unable to comprehend what just happened.
