"Stop acting like you are living alone in this house June for God's sake"
June sighed for he hundredth time today. "Leave me alone, I'm not in the mood" she whispered as she typed something in the laptop in her lap.
"You know, I'm going to the church and after two days I'm going to stay at your aunt's house since Jason is getting baptized, god bless him"
June looked up from her laptop and raised her brow, "for how long ?"
"I don't know you're aunt Jennifer is also preparing for some celebration at the Hampton's she was invited to and she wanted me to help her"
"Why am I not invited it or they only talk to me when they need something"
Poll rolled her eyes, "you of course don't know"
"It doesn't look like I know"
"Alexander's crushes are not really happy with the idea of you hanging around him all the time, you know"
"You mean him hanging around me, it's the other way round." She smirked, "but I'm okay with them seeing me as a threat, saved me a lot of effort"
"What's up with Alex roaming around I don't like it. He is probably telling everything to Harrison"
"What about Harrison, any news
regarding him ?" June said ignoring the part about Alex.
"Yeah, I heard he was going through some medical complications...maybe diabetes, I don't know"
June's eyes widened, "really ? Well I suppose it's god taking action"
Poll narrowed her eyes, "June"
"Hmm"
"Do you want to tell me something"
June smiled tightly, "nothing at all". June grinned she had a wonderful idea to make Sebastian regret what he did. But she needed help.
She took out her phone, " hello, Alex ?"
"Sebastian, wake up ! It's noon"
Sebastian's eyes fluttered open. He heard the sound of his friend and cursed under his breath.
"Get out, Wayne. You are literally barging into my room dude, where are your manners" Sebastian said as buried his head under the sheets.
"You can't spend your days sleeping, it's an unhealthy coping mechanism"
Sebastian let out his head out from the sheets "And who the fuck are you to rate my coping mechanisms?"
"Your friend who is genuinely worried about you ?"
"Wayne get out"
"Do you realize the huge number of files and contracts you have to go through and read, like work is just piling up since two weeks and you're not doing anything useful but sleep"
Sebastian rubbed his eyes, he didn't feel like getting out of the house or doing anything since he met June.
His head was messed up and nothing made him cheer up. He didn't expect anything from what she said and it broke his heart.
He wanted to go meet her, kiss her and show her how much he missed her but what she did was something he cannot ignore.
He wants her but he can't reach to her. She's there but he can't touch her. He loves her and he can't tell her. It's so hard. He never went through something like this.
Tears pricked the corners of his eyes so he buried his head into the pillow.
"You can't make your life stop because of a woman, you know"
"Who told you it's because of a woman, it's just stress"
Wayne laughed, "dude any man can tell it's because of a woman and I know who she is so don't take me for a fool"
The housekeeper entered the room, "sir there is a woman who wants to see you"
Sebastian got up from his bed.
