Chapter 3 - Giving A Name

How arrogant.

How simply arrogant.

Ryia was a beautiful name.

But to give a name to something or someone having already a name felt wrong.

How dare he.

I chirped furiously.

I was glad and all that this "Oliver" kid had rescued me after my so called mother tossed me out of the nest.

I wasn't quite sure what happened after that but to summarize the details, I was rejected by my birth mother and brought to some different place by a human surveying the situation.

*Cringe*

The worst part of this situation was the fact that I could now see quite clearly but everything was in shades of purple.

I guess this was how birds saw the world huh?

It was quite different but I could picture a bunch of things.

For one, the person who rescued me, Oliver De Griseo Mundi, was some hot shot.

He probably had dark or black hair because of the dark purple I could see around his head.

His body proportions indicated that he was quite tall but from my perspective, he was short.

I had grown a giant amount after being fed on a daily scheduled after coming to this place. I was most definitely the biggest bird I would ever find on Earth.

This brought to question if I was really on Earth. Where was I staying was the question to figure out.

I had surveyed my surroundings before but I could only call my current residence an herbal factory.

There looked to be glass material surrounding the outer walls of this large looking herbal factory.

I know.

Birds cant see glass.

But I wasn't really a bird so I could figure that something was surrounding this outer terrain other than just the sky.

It smelled quite natural here.

It was almost calming.

Other than the casual biting of killer plants from this strange habitat this place was quite peaceful.

Humans rarely came in here because all the plants never seemed to work thanks to there weird sprinklers.

How I wish they would be magic sprinklers.

For all I knew, they where.

It didn't matter though because all I knew was that this "Oliver" guy was super rich in order to afford a magic garden.

All I wish for is to just not become a pet.

Maybe he was royalty.

Of course, it would be amazing if he where.

But what would be the point.

I wasn't even human anymore so I couldn't do anything even if I wanted to.

I sighed.

Could birds even sigh?

Who knows.
