Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

I awoke, again on the luxurious bed with a refreshed mind.

There was still hope for me, the villainess of the story. I just had to behave, avoid the protagonists, and then my life would be saved. It seemed simple.

''Ah, you're awake.''

I looked to the side of the bed and a beautiful woman with a bun and luxurious clothes was sitting. Next to her was a man in a suit with a round belly with a relieved face. There was also a boy that looked 1 year older than me next to them.

'So, is this my family?'

All of the novel was from the heroine's point of view. There was no information on the villainess' past or family at all.

Besides, the novel began when the heroine entered high school mid year.

'Uh oh, I don't know anything!'

Their faces looked worried, so I began to talk to them in a calm voice.

''What happened?'' I said and my mother came closer.

''Dear, you fell from the top of the stairs a while ago, do you not remember?'' Was her response.

'Should I say I don't? I don't know anything about this life.''

I saw no harm in saying I didn't remember, so I decided it was the best approach. It was my best shot at knowing more about what happened.

''I don't remember anything.'' I said with a blank expression.

My family all looked at each other worried and called for the doctor.

''She says she does not remember anything.'' My father began to speak.

The family doctor approached with a puzzled face and began to ask me questions.

''As your father said, you do not remember anything. Is that true?''

I nodded.

''Do you know who they are?'' He pointed to my family.

''My family?'' I hopefully said.

''Yes, do you know their names?''

I shook my head. Their names were not mentioned in the novel.

''Do you know who you are?''

''Yes, my name is Felicia Demm.'' I said.

The doctor sighed, ''How old are you?''

''Five years old?'' I guessed.

''You are correct.'' The doctor said. ''Can you follow me outside?'' He asked my parents and they headed outside. I was left with my brother inside.

There was an awkward silence in the air.

I smiled at my brother and turned, thinking if it was the right decision.

In the novel, it was noted that the villainess' brother hated her.

I mean, he had a right to. Anyone had, considering how awful she was.

After a few moments, my parents and the doctor came back into the room. Their faces were put into forced smiles while hiding back their true expressions.

'Does it seem like I have memory loss?'

The doctor only said a few words with them and left.

My father returned to me and smiled.

''Felicia, you'll be starting school in a few weeks I will be preparing a tutor for your entrance exam at Rendell.'' My father said.

When I heard the name 'Rendell', I panicked a little.

Rendell was the most prestigious school in the novel. Only the wealthiest, smartest, and influential children could attend this school. It contained all of the grades in a huge luxurious building. Being able to step inside the school was already considered an honor.

''Is that so?'' I nodded.

Their faces were shocked at my calm tone.

'Ah, the villainess must've been rolling on the floor. They didn't expect me to be obedient.'

I only smirked at the thought of their spoiled daughter doing a complete 180° turn of personality.

I rubbed my eyes and my family took that as a sign.

''You must be tired, I'll get the maids to deliver the food here.'' Said my mother before leaving.

''I have some work to do, I'll visit you later.''

My brother was left standing alone, again.

I turned my head towards him, expecting him to leave already.

''Rest well,… sister.'' He awkwardly said and hurriedly left the room.

'Hm. Was I bad even at 5 years old?'

I then realized that I was left in the room alone without anyone to bother me. So, without anyone to stop me, I climbed out of bed and began exploring my bedroom.

It was huge considering I was only 5 years old. I had a king sized bed with clean and soft white sheets.

There was a closet that had a slide in door.

Inside the closet, a ton of expensive looking clothes and shoes were neatly organized.

''I don't really need that many.'' I murmured to myself as I remembered how little clothes I had in my past life.

There was also a short coffee table with sofas on either side. It looked really nice.

After looking a little, I went back to rest in my bed.

For me to be able to get in bed, the bed had some marble stairs on its side.

They reminded me of a pool.

*Knock Knock*

''My lady, the food has been brought.''

The door opened and a woman walked in. There was a small cart that was being pushed by her.

''Thank you, can you put it by the table, please?'' I asked and walked out of bed.

Her face was surprised at my gentleness and began putting the plates on the table.

''Eat carefully, I will be outside if you need anything.'' She smiled and left.

When I sat down on the sofa, it felt like a dream.

''My, are these soft.'' I murmured to myself and gently stroked the sofa.

After admiring them for a while, I remembered my food was waiting for me.

On a plate were some fancy pieces of meat drizzled with a fine sauce. There were also some vegetables that were neatly cut. On the side, there was a bowl of creamy soup with some crunchy and fine bread.

I gasped at the beautiful food in front of me.

''Now that I'm 'rich', am I going to eat like this on a daily basis?''

I could not help the thought of living a luxurious life. That is, if I survived the Male lead, which I will. I began to eat my food at a slow pace to enjoy it longer.
