BLUE didn't expect the design of Light's work room. The place is filled with potatoes! The print of the wallpaper is potatoes with a cute face, the lamp is in a potato shape, his things have potato stickers sticked to it, the sticky notes sticked in his cork board is also in a potato shape.
Blue can't believe that Light is obsessed with potatoes. Well, everyone can have a weird obsession. Even Blue has an obsession, she's obsessed with potato chips.
"What's wrong with liking potatoes?" Light asked Blue who stood still by the stairs.
"I feel like I'm under the ground." Like she's one of the potatoes. She scanned the place again, hoping that this is just a dream.
She thinks that she'll go insane when she sees potato outside of this room.
Light snorted and walked around the place. He pointed out to the black leather swivel chair and said, "This is my seat." Then he pointed out to the light blue gaming chair. "That would be your seat. The things that you'll be needing are already prepared. You already know that the all of the drawings will be digital type, right?"
"Mm." Blue nodded.
"It's getting late so I'll send you home first. I'll explain everything you need to know tomorrow. Do I still need to pick you up from your home everyday?"
Blue immediately shook her head. "I have a car."
"Then everything's settled. What else do you need?"
"Ahm, the dogs..." Blue shyly spoke.
"I'll deal with them. They would be out of your sight."
"Then... Thank you." Blue gave Light a genuine smile and the guy almost smiled back. Luckily, he held himself back.
"Let's go downstairs." He said and Blue silently followed him.
They left the house and there were no signs of Light's parents. Blue let out a sigh of relief and continued to follow Light. He's walking so fast and Blue's legs almost couldn't keep up.
Blue came back to her senses when her head bumped on someone's back. She realized that Light just stopped walking, and in front of them, there's a shining red sports car.
'Don't tell me, he's going to send me home with that car?' Blue thought to herself and her question was answered when Light opened the door for her.
So the guy is still a gentleman, after all...
Blue sat comfortably in the shotgun seat and Light sat on the driver's seat. Blue was just about to sit properly when the car suddenly drove off. The thing is, Light is driving very fast. Blue isn't sure if she's still going to be alive the next day. If she's not going die due to car crash, she'll surely die because of heart attack.
"Oh... Where do you live?" Light asked Blue, realizing that he just drove off without knowing where to go.
"I'm living at the subdivision at the center of the city." Blue answered his question and busied herself by looking at the buildings outside. All of the streetlights are lit up and there are only few people who are walking in the sidewalks.
Wait... as far as she remembered, the number people who walked at night in the city's center was never few...
She looked outside again and they drove past a sign, saying that they're near to the city exit.
That only means that they've gone to the north! Blue glanced at the man who was driving calmly.
"Light, we're about to leave the city..." Blue spoke softly and the guy beside her chuckled lightly.
"We're almost near the u-turn area. Don't you worry." Light told Blue and the latter just sighed.
True to what Light had said, there's really a u-turn area, and they took a turn in there.
"We'll be taking the shortcut route." Light said and the next thing Blue knew was that the car is already on a very spacious road. Only few vehicles are on the road, and the silence of the place gave Blue a calm feeling. No car honks, no police and ambulance siren.
Well, the route was really shortcut because they're already in front of the gate to the subdivision where Blue lives.
The gate opened and Blue told Light the directions where the car should go so that they could arrive at Blue's house.
The car stopped in front of a light brown gate. Blue stepped out of the car, closed the door, and glanced at Light through the opened car window.
"You want to have a drink?" She politely asked Light. He might be tired because her drove her to her home, and Blue's conscience won't stop bugging her so she just asked him.
"No need. I'll be going."
"Take ca—" Blue didn't finish what she had to say because Light already drove off.
Blue just sighed and entered her home.
BLUE arrived at Light's house two minutes before nine AM. Before getting out of her car, she checked her surroundings first. When she confirmed that there were no dogs around, she calmly got out of the car and gave her car keys to the Lim family's driver.
She walked towards the house and pressed the doorbell. A woman opened the door for her. It was Mrs. Lim.
"Good morning, Blue!" Mrs. Lim enthusiastically greeted Blue and Blue greeted her back with the same energy.
"Good morning, Mrs. Lim!"
The two went inside and Mrs. Lim suddenly spoke, "My son is already in his work room. Do you want to eat breakfast first or you'll go to see him now?"
"I should go see him, Mrs. Lim." Blue politely answered and went up to the third floor. When she stepped on the place, the first thing she noticed was Light.
He's wearing a light gray turtle neck sweater. He's also wearing eye glasses!
'Why does he look so handsome today?' Blue asked herself in her mind. 'Hah, people look best when they're passionate in what they're doing.'
She went to her assigned place and took a seat. She took out her notebook that contained the character outfit plan and turned on the drawing monitor. There were two stylus pens prepared for her.
Blue clicked on the only icon in the monitor and her head ached when she saw the number of icons in the app. She's very confused because almost every icon looks like a pencil.
Blue was startled when someone from her back clicked something on the screen. Blue looked behind her and she wasn't surprised when she saw Light.
Light made Blue hold the stylus pen with her hand, then Light held Blue's hand that was holding the pen. He lifted Blue's hand 'til it touched the screen.
He guided Blue's hand with his own hand to draw something. When Light let go of Blue, Blue realized that Light drew a potato.
"Familiarize yourself with the app first." Light told Blue directly in her ear and Blue had goosebumps.
Light finally went back to his seat and Blue did what Light had told her to do.
When Blue wad finally confident, she started to draw the dress included in her outfit plan. It's a pastel orange summer dress with orange fruit prints.
Blue colored it and she found out that digital coloring is very fun. The blending of colors is also good.
"Woah, you colored it so well." Light commented and Blue almost jumped out from her chair. This shameless man... since when did he learn to startle others?
Light handed Blue a flash drive and the latter explored its files. It turned out to be the raw drawings that she needed to clothes into.
When she started to draw, she was lost in her own world.
She just stopped drawing when Light placed something on her table.
