BLUE's brows furrowed when she heard Light call Mrs. Lim 'grandma.' This little guy just randomly calls every old woman he sees 'grandma?'
"Oh, little Liam, you're here!" Mrs. Lim exclaimed and then she looked at Blue. "Why is this little guy with you?"
Blue scratched her nape and smiled at Mrs. Lim. "His Dad and I are kind of... friends? And he asked me to take care of this little guy for a while because he's going to join a singing reality show."
"What a small world! Ryu is my husband's nephew. His mother is my husband's sister." Mrs. Lim said.
"It really is a small world..." Blue said and looked at Liam.
"What's the commotion all about?" A man suddenly spoke and Blue glanced at the direction where the voice came from. The man who spoke was Light.
"Uncle Light!" Liam called and Light looked at the child.
"Liam, what are you doing here? Where's your father?" Light bent down so he can match Liam's height. He patted the little guy's head.
"Dad is busy so Big Sister Blue will take care of me for a while." Liam said and Light wanted to laugh because Blue tricked the little guy to call her 'big sister.'
"Liam, she's old. Why are you calling her 'big sister?' You should call her 'auntie.'"
Liam innocently looked at Blue and called her. "Auntie!"
Blue wanted to punch Light's face.
"All of us should go inside." Mrs. Lim spoke , and they all went inside.
Light carried Liam in his arms and in Blue's mind, she thought he looks so handsome when he's carrying the little guy, but she shrugged her thoughts off when she realized what she was thinking about.
She felt goosebumps all over her body.
When they entered the house, Liam went directly to the couch, and he sat comfortably. Light sat beside him and lifted him to and sat him in his lap. He pinched the little boy's face and Liam just laughed loudly like there's no tomorrow.
Blue stood by the window while she silently observed the uncle-and-nephew pair. It startled her when Mrs. Lim spoke.
"Son, skip your work today. Bring Liam outside." Mrs. Lim paused for a while. "Judging from Ryu's work condition, I'm sure that this little guy hasn't even gone to a mall."
"What about Blossom?" Light asked his Mom.
Blue didn't move a bit and thought to herself: 'Can't I work alone?'
"You should bring her with you! It would be unfair if you're spending your time outside your workplace and Blue would work herself off. Also, it would be better if two adults would take care of the kid. Let Liam experience the feeling of having a complete family." Mrs. Lim grinned and glanced at Light and Blue.
The first step of having a complete family is to have parents who constantly show affection to each other. They already failed the first step.
"Fine, fine." Light sighed in defeat and stood up. His gaze landed on Blue and he motioned Blue to come near him.
Light walked towards the doorway of the house, and he stepped outside, carrying Liam in his arms. Blue silently followed the two, and Light's car was already parked in front of the house. Light opened the door to the backseat and there's already a child seat in there, so he made the little guy sit on it and fastened the seatbelt.
Light closed the door, and Blue went to the other side of the car. She sat on the backseat and Light sat on the driver's seat. When everything's set, Light drove off.
Blue felt that the route Light was taking was very familiar. She realized that the route will bring them to the largest mall in X City, the Betelgeuse Mall.
Based from the gossips Blue had heard, the owner of the mall met his love interest when the Orion constellation was visible to the naked eye of people, and the Betelgeuse star was brightly shining. But now, the owner's love interest was nowhere to be seen.
In less than fifteen minutes, they arrived at the mall. Light parked in front of the entrance and spoke,
"Go inside first. Just text me where you're located. I'll find a parking space."
Blue nodded at him and lifted the little guy who sat beside her. Liam was so soft and Blue hesitated a bit if she would carry him or not because she felt that the little boy was too fragile.
The two stepped out of the car and Light drove out of their sight.
Blue entered the mall with Liam in her arms. They passed through the guards and looked around the place.
"Baby, where do you want to go?" Blue asked Liam so they can go to the place first. In the first place, they went to the mall because of him.
"I want to play at the place with a lot of balls!" Liam cutely answered and Blue can't help but kiss the little guy's cheek. Liam giggled lightly.
Blue understood where the child wanted to go. It's the playing place that can be found in every mall. The place full of inflatable slides and a pool of balls.
They went to the place, and Blue paid on the counter. They chose the package that allowed them to play for two hours.
Blue helped Liam remove his shoes and Blue removed hers also, leaving their feet with their socks.
"Big sister, you also have chick socks!" Liam exclaimed. Blue laughed when she saw that their socks were matching. Both pairs have a chick design.
Blue pulled her phone out from her pocket and sent their location to Light.
The two went inside the place, and Liam almost slipped. Luckily, Blue held him tight and if carrying Liam in her arms wouldn't spoil the fun, she could've carried him to avoid any unfortunate accidents.
Liam pulled her to a little room filled with costumes. There are costumes for adults and there are costumes for kids too. Liam carefully picked an adult princess costume and handed it to Blue, then he picked a knight costume for himself.
"Let me help you wear it, baby." Blue smiled at Liam and she helped him wear the knight outfit.
"Big sister, wear the princess costume." Liam looked at Blue with pitiful eyes and she scratched her head. Then, they heard a commotion outside and Blue was saved by the bell.
The two stepped out of the room, only to see Light quarreling with a staff of the place.
"I told you, my son and wife are there. I'm not lying." Light showed his phone screen to the staff. "Look at the message my wife had sent to me! This is the location."
Blue thought to herself: 'Since when did Light have a son and a wife?'
But then she realized that the son and wife he was pertaining to her and Liam. She sighed in frustration and walked towards Light's direction while holding Liam in one of her hands.
Well, maybe fate was playing with her because she slipped when she stepped on a lone ball in the walking area, but before she can even feel the pain of falling in the ground, someone had already held her waist and helped her to stand up straight.
Light carelessly jumped and ran into the area just to catch Blue from falling.
Blue faked a cough and smiled at Light. "Sweetheart, you're here! Why didn't you send me a message? I could've notified the staff earlier." Blue looked towards the staff's direction. "Hehe, this guy wasn't lying. He's my husband, and this baby is our child." She pointed out to Light and Liam.
The staff nodded slightly like he was embarrassed and left them alone.
"Sweetheart, I sent you a message a while ago. You still haven't read it?" Light spoke to Blue with a teasing smirk on his lips. Blue blushed in embarrassment and Light chuckled lightly.
"Uncle, uncle, let's play!" Liam tugged Light's pants and Light ruffled the little guy's hair.
The three went to the top of the inflatable slide and Liam slid down to the bottom with Light. Blue was nervously sitting down at the top. Slides are one of her greatest fears! She doesn't dare to slide down to the pool of balls.
Light seemed to notice Blue's behavior, so he smiled slightly and opened his arms.
"Come on down, I'll catch you!" He said, and Blue felt that her courage increased with 0.0000001%.
Blue closed her eyes and let her body slide down, and she felt a pair of warm arms hugging her body. She opened her eyes only to see a pair of almond shaped eyes staring directly at her.
She felt that the time slowed down the moment they stared at each other. But when Blue realized what she was thinking about, she wanted to smack herself.
She shook Light's arms off and walked towards Liam's direction.
"Where do you want to go next, baby?" Blue asked Liam, and the child pointed to the slide at the other end of the place. Blue sighed and followed the child who walked his way to the area.
She didn't dare to climb up again, and she just waited for the two to slide down. Feeling bored, she buried herself in the pool of water and she chuckled in her mind when she heard Liam's voice calling for her.
"Uncle, where is Big Sister?" Liam asked with a pitiful voice. Tears were forming in his eyes.
"Hmm..." Light sighed and then Blue felt that someone held her back and the back of her knee. Later on, she felt that she was being lifted, and she scoffed when she realizes that she's in Light's arms. Light was carrying her in bridal style.
Blue jumped from the guy's hold and Liam went to another area to play. Blue just followed the child and she occasionally took pictures, and a smile was instantly pasted on her face when he captured a photo of Light lifting Liam up and they're facing each other, showing each other a bright and genuine smile that was very rare to see.
Blue wanted to use the picture as her screensaver but she can't think of an acceptable reason.
"Blossom, let's take a photo together with Liam." Light motioned Blue to come near them, and Blue willingly obliged.
Blue raised her phone with her front camera on and they got ready for the picture.
Light was carrying Liam with his right arm, and he draped his other arm over Blue's shoulder like it was a natural thing to do.
Blue clicked the shutter button and then she checked if the photo was a great shot.
Looking at the photo, she was out of words. They looked like a happy family of three.
