Two soldiers at the corridors drift as Johnny and Luke smash the back of their heads with the stock of their guns.
Two soldiers pass by the others towards the exit. This is Johnny and Luke under the helmet. They enter the tube that connects Aster 9 to the Genesis.
They arrive inside the Genesis and drift away from the others to a corner.
"Right so where do you think is their engine room?" Johnny asked.
Luke peeks and sees someone approaching them.
"Excuse me, do you know where is the engine room? We're new here," Luke said.
The soldier looks at their direction.
"What are your unit numbers?" he asked.
"Um..." Luke said.
Johnny takes the soldier's hand and knocks him down.
"Let's not do that again," Johnny said.
"Right," Luke replied.
Johnny looks at a guard tinkering with his armband as a hologram appears.
"Oh shit lets try that," Johnny said.
"Try what?" Luke asked.
Johnny clicks his armband, and a selection appears.
"Great here's the map," Johnny said. "Here let's go."
Johnny pulls away in haste as Luke follows him at the end of the corridor and takes a right. It was quiet for a while when suddenly shots fired at them as they take cover on the side of a tube.
"Fuck! why did you have to make up such bad unit number," Johnny said.
"Well, I didn't know!" Luke replied. "So what do we do?"
"Let's try to get inside these doors, cover me," Johnny said.
Johnny taps the screen while Luke cover fires. It's not opening as he accidentally swiped the armband and it opened. They get inside as the airlock behind them closes and the front opens. They see only a room with a window with no exit.
"Shit," Johnny puns.
"We're trapped!" Luke shouted.
They hear the soldiers shouting as they stopped firing.
"Shit they're coming," Luke said.
Johnny looks at the window and thinks and sees Jetpacks at the wall. He takes them and gives one to Luke.
"Go back out," - he said as he pushes the red button to open the door.
They get in the airlock and as the door slowly closes Johnny pulls out a grenade and its pin. He throws it directly to the window as it explodes along with the airlock door in front of them. They flinch...
"You're a genius!" Luke said.
"Let's go, put on the backpack," Johnny said.
Johnny and Luke put on their jetpacks. They drift out to the window and into space. Luke turns back and sees three soldiers jetpacking out and sees them.
"Oh shit, behind us!" he shouted.
Johnny sees them and fires at them. They boost out to the ship's left-wing.
"Look the engine room!" Luke shouted.
"Fuck! go hide behind the corners," Johnny said.
They hid behind the corner box above the ship and the soldiers started shooting at it.
"Wait for them to reload," Johnny said.
The bullets go heavy at them and then it suddenly stopped.
"Now!" Johnny shouted.
Johnny and Luke shoot back at them and one soldier takes a bullet at the head and the two at their bodies as they drift into space, dead.
They arrive at the airlock door.
"This is it," Johnny said.
Johnny sees a wheel and twists it as Luke helps him the screen lights red and the airlock opens, it closes and the door opens in front of them. They see the huge eco engine charger blinking blue.
"Wow, it's huge," Luke said.
"Do you think you could blow it up?" Johnny asked.
"Yeah, it's pretty easy I just need a lot of powder," Luke said.
"Well, I have my last grenade," Johnny said.
"No, you need much bigger than that," Luke said.
Luke extends his hand.
"Give it to me please," Luke said.
Johnny gives him the grenade. Luke cracks the grenade open and puts the powder in a pouch.
"And your magazine 'cuz I need the bullets powder," Luke said.
Johnny gives him his magazine. Luke throws it away and points his gun at him. Johnny puts his hands up.
"Woah what're you doing?" Johnny asked.
"Sorry John," Luke said in a much deeper voice.
The hatch opens, Johnny sees Yuri and her soldiers step in.
"I see, so you're the traitor," he said.
Luke walks to Yuri's side as Johnny faces him circling.
"I'm no traitor John, you just didn't know that I was Genesis all along," - he said as he kissed Yuri.
Johnny looking angry as he tries to move. The soldiers react and raise their weapons at him.
"Attatatata... don't you move now John," Luke said. "Kneel."
Johnny kneels.
"Why don't we just kill him? we already got the codes from his dead friends," Yuri asked.
"No, my dear, we can't, see this man can respawn. He can go back to the past like nothing has happened here," Luke said.
"How?" Yuri asked.
"I don't know, but I think it's because he's one of those sons of a stalker," Luke replied.
"What? they're real?" Yuri asked.
"Oh yeah, I've killed one," Luke said. "This might be the second time."
Luke looks at Johnny smiling. He shoots and grazed Johnny's right arm as he's hurt.
"What are you smiling about?" Luke asked.
"I lied," he said.
"About what?" Luke asked.
"This is was not my first time meeting you," he replied.
Luke is in shock.
"This is I think my 100th attempt to find the one who betrayed us and destroy this ship," Johnny said.
Johnny slowly stands and puts his hand down.
"See now you know that you can't kill me I'm not afraid anymore because now I know that you are the traitor and you led me into the core of your ship," Johnny said.
Luke aims his gun at Johnny's head.
"I could kill you right now, I don't care!" Luke shouted.
Johnny puts up his finger at Luke.
"Ah but you see Luke, this will probably happen all over again and I will succeed sooner or later," he said. "I also lied about the grenade, I had two."
Johnny quickly draws the grenade from behind as Luke pulls the trigger in slow motion.
"Kill him!" Luke ordered.
Johnny sidesteps and throws the grenade at them as a blink of light occurs. Normal motion resumes as outside, the Genesis ship explodes in space.
Johnny back on his wheel before they teleported. He feels dizzy as he massages his head.
"What happened John?" Val asked.
Johnny looks at Val.
"Val you're back," he said.
Johnny kisses her.
"Woah," Val said - in shock.
"Oh sorry, I just missed you," he said.
Val stares at Johnny, feeling in love as he walks towards George.
"Hey George I missed you, buddy," Johnny said - as he hugged him.
George and Val look at each other as Johnny feels a bit odd for them. Johnny stares at the weapon box and realizes that Luke is in the engine room.
"Where's Luke?" Johnny asked.
"He'll be here," George said.
Johnny goes to the weapon box and opens it and grabs a gun.
"Woah what're you doing bud?" George asked.
"Hal play something I would like," Johnny said.
The hatch opens as Luke comes in. Hal selects a track from his interface. Luke smiles at them.
"Hey, guys!" Luke shouted.
BANG! Luke takes a bullet through his head. He falls to the floor. George and Val stand in shock looking at Luke.
"Traitor," Johnny said.
The song Chippin' in by Samurai plays in the background as we see, the ship out in space.
