It's raining at night, as Johnny wearing an overcoat walking on the sky bridge. He's in the big colony called Polaris, it's not earth but it's the closest to come from it. He goes inside a bar full of brokers. He walks to the bar and orders a drink.
"What will you have sir?" the robot asked.
"A bourbon," he said.
"Right away," the robot replied.
The robot gives him his drink. He checks something underneath in his coat, it's a Glock. He puts his hand back to the bar and drinks. He leaves the bar and walks to the investors who're having a good time. He puts his hand in his coat as they look at him.
In the suburbs of Polaris, a man named Eric in his mid 20's, short hair, good looking, is looking at himself opposite a mirror. He stares and poses at his physique. He's admiring his body, he puts on his shirt.
He is driving down the streets passing by the park full of children. Their parents having conversations at the bench. He looks to his left as a man in black with his face covered run in front of Eric as he hits the brakes. A strong earthquake erupts and everyone gets tossed up to the air as the ground cracks and shakes like a wave. Everyone falls down to the ground as blood splatters and Eric rolls down to the ground. His vehicle gets blown to pieces as it lands on top of people. Eric gets unconscious.
Eric wakes up and sees the destruction and smog. He struggles to stand with his wound on his left arm, his face covered in dust, and blood dripping down from his head. He walks and sees dead bodies around he sees a light ahead. He goes to it and sees a lamp. He keeps on walking around and sees someone moving. He runs to her and it seems that he knows her.
"May, may, wake up." - he shakes her shoulders.
May in her early 20's, long hair, wearing a black sports bra, and jogging pants, she has a wound on her forehead, she wakes up and sees Eric, her ex.
"Eric," she said.
"Hey, can you stand?" he asked.
"I can't," she answered.
"I'll have to carry you okay?" he asked as she nods to him.
Eric carried her.
"Where are we going?" she asked.
"Someplace safe," he answered.
"And where is that exactly?" she asked.
"You always ask too many questions," he answered.
She pinches on his side.
"Ouch! that hurt!" he said out loud.
"Not compared to how much you hurt me," she said.
"I said I was sorry, just don't pinch me," he said to her.
She sleeps as he continues to walk on the broken road.
