Chapter 7 - six

"it's actually so fucking funny!" yangyang devilishly laughed, smirking at dejun as he glared daggers toward the other but his eyes weren't having any of it.

he saw how much it hurt dejun to hear these things; dejun resonated with his character as well...

but hey, a professional knows how to put a masquerade of his own so yangyang just continued, grabbing dejun by the collar before sighing.

"you actually think you're good enough? you actually think you can survive in a world like this? a world where i rule over everyone?" dejun smiled back before prying yangyang's hand off of his collar.

"and so what if i do? who fucking said i couldn't do anything?" dejun answered back before taking the upper hand in the situation he was in.

"look... just because i'm me doesn't mean i'm any less than you.." that's when dejun's voice begun cracking as he spoke. "just because i'm gay doesn't mean i'm as incapable as you think i am. i'm not stupid and i most certainly am not an invisible bitch you'd ignore or disregard. i deserve respect as well."

yangyang then raised his hand, ready to slap dejun as the script demanded but then it dropped. "w-wait.." he mumbled, falling to the ground with his hands covering his face. "what is it now?! we're gonna be performing in a few days and you decide to act up?!"

sure, the directress was being a lot more considerate towards the actors she handled but can you blame her? yangyang was aware of the stress she was going through but he had emotions as well..

"a-alright.. i-i'm ok-okay now.." the younger actor mumbled, standing up and wiping his stray tears. "no actually, shut up. you're not okay." dejun said, frowning as the boy avoided his gaze.

"you're doing good, yangyang. we'll get done with the play soon enough."
