Act: 25
He stood with much more confidence than when he had originally entered for the first time. Without hesitating he sprinted forward, going deeper into the cave to where the ominous presence resided. As he ran, he would often need to leap over a few rocks that protruded from the uneven ground. Going deeper it stayed relatively the same despite him having night vision that randomly activated. It was dark as usual, and the same bluish crystals stuck out from the sides of the wall along with the ceiling. The air surrounding him was somewhat eerie from the other monsters screeching and lurking, hidden in different paths depending on which one you would take, though this was nothing like what he had recently experienced. Not nearly enough to strike fear in his heart.
"I'm surprised, I actually am getting somewhat hungry. It's been a while since I ate, last time I remember, I. Don't remember when was the last time I had something to eat? Well, I do feel bold after that kill, soo, now that I think about it, I should've taken some of the bear for food while I was over there..."
"Hm.?"
Shizu moved his satchel around to his stomach. Opening it up and looking inside curiously to see if he had stored anything that could be eaten or even if it was a snack of some sort. But he found nothing, realizing that all the food he did have was dropped during his encounter with the hooded people or just simply left at his campsite, which most likely has gone bad by now from the little care it received. Throwing his bag out of his way and behind his back, he sadly let out a sigh.
"Now I have to decide. Do I keep going forward or divert somewhere else and find something to kill and eat?"
"Huh!?"
Walking forward slowly thinking about his decision and what would be the most sensible option. Stepping over a few of the rocks and the sound of his shoes sloshing in a small puddle. He reached the end where another drop led him further, looking to his right, seeing a hole in the wall leading to a path with a faint sound of screeching, which could take him to who knows where?
"So, if my guess is right, food should be over there. But this drop could get me closer or nowhere... Ah! I have no idea what to do... A pit stop gathering something to eat, is better than nothing?" His belly was doing most of the thinking, telling him to go follow the sound of food.
"Just kidding! Hell no."
He turned his back against the cliff and with a big grin on his face, he fell backward off the edge. Shouting as he showed no sign of facing headfirst into the darkness.
"Why waste time on some weak ass creature when I can go save a bulb of light? Now doesn't that make perfect sense?"
He said in a sarcastic tone.
His body began to fall slightly faster while keeping his back toward the ground. Even though he had night vision he was able to notice that it got darker the more he fell but then it began to illuminate a darkish blue color. This may be the point from where he left off from last time given the fact that this drop is taking much longer to land, along with those same blue distinct lights returning.
He shouted.
"You think I didn't sense you!"
Spreading out his body and rotating his legs over and around performing a mid-air rotation. He corrects his position to time the landing perfectly on his feet, hunching over his body with his arms spread out. Crushing the ground underneath, him, he slightly raised his head up to be greeted with what he thought to be the same shadowy figures.
"Looks like we meet again! You may not recognize me but I sure as hell recognize you!"
Shizu leaned to his left looking behind the shadow, seeing a perfectly structured pathway with wall-mounted lights that lit a bright blue color leading towards a large silver door with a bunch of swirls and some designs on it.
"So, does this make you the gatekeeper for this entrance?"
"..."
"No response then?"
*Tch*
"Well in order for me to save that voice I keep hearing I have to kill you, now isn't that sad? Ya know, a hungry man who so happens to be on a stupid hunt doesn't mix well! Don't you agree! So, like I said I'll just kill you and get you out of my-"
*Smack!*
His sentence was cut short after getting hit in the stomach by a large steel one-sided ax that had a wooden handle to it and the blade being the size of half of his body. launching him away and into the wall behind him.
The shadow spoke in a deep monstrous tone with its grammar sounding completely off.
"You talk too much. All that to die so fast by not blade of ax. Guts destroyer!"
"..."
"Hehe. Hehe... Hahaha! So, you can talk after all. You know I would like to finish my sentences!"
*Crackle*
Small rocks hit the ground as Shizu puts his hands down from blocking the attack and removing himself from being encased in the wall. Moving his neck around he gets a few pops out.
"You did not seriously name that, guts destroyer. Pff!"
Shizu started chuckling to himself, not taking him seriously at all.
"And you thought that would kill me! Ha! I've had worse! For starters some loud-ass lady with a canvas, her punches hurt way more than that. If you wanted a confirmed kill, you probably should've used the sharp end of the blade instead."
It responded with a slow and unintelligent-sounding tone. Almost barbaric-like.
"You alive still. You have guts after all. Not for long!"
Stepping out of the shadow and into the light, a giant green muscular Orc stood glaring over Shizu.
"Let's see what ya really got!"
Shizu ran lunging at him with his right arm aiming straight for the head. The orc being much taller than Shizu seemed to be ranging around 18 feet tall. Putting more strain on his legs, he launched into the air releasing his punch in its face. Only for it to be blocked by the orc's ax. The orc started to grin showing the human his superiority but that wasn't it for Shizu, landing back on the ground he looked up at the ax, which was going for another swing but this time with his left hand aiming at the ax he started repeatedly punching it with both hands.
"Ha. What you think that will do. You punching Guts destroyer, I is far stronger!"
"Is that what you think!"
His strikes started to deal more damage than before. The sound of the fierce strikes of his fists hitting the metal echoed becoming much more intense and louder, slowly pushing the back side of the ax away from him.
Shizu shouted, and leaned forward, further increasing the speed and strength of his punches.
*Grwah!*
"I won't allow loss! You in way!"
The orc managed to overpower him and complete the swing which caused Shizu to jump back so that he wouldn't get hit for a second time. The orc rotates lifting its ax in the air and charges for him instead. As he swung his ax around, Shizu jumped up and over avoiding the low swing, landing back on his feet just for him to duck to avoid the follow-up swing. Each swing had such power that it created small gusts of wind that cut into the soundings causing slash marks in the walls. Shizu jumps back to space himself only for the orc to rush at him once more giving him an overhead slam. Shizu front flips over the ax in time watching it slam into the ground caving in and making it stuck. Flipping all the way over it he looks up at the orc struggling to remove its ax.
"Must be a shame that it's already over for you. Way easier than I thought!"
Shizu jumps up and swings his right leg up at its head ready to finish it off. The orc grinned letting go of his ax, spinning his body all the way around so fast that Shizu had no time to react, its glowing red eyes trailed around staring directly in his eyes. Shizu's eyes widened while being in the air and with the orcs right arm punching Shizu with a ton of force sending him straight for the wall. His body slams into a rock causing some blood to spit from his mouth and bounce forward from the impact.
The orc quickly ran stomping toward him while he still had been airborne, the orc swung once more but Shizu was ready this time, as his punch came, he put both of his palms on the muscular arm of the orc projecting himself over and kicking the orc in the face with both his legs to then wrap around his neck only to lose grip and fall. Its arm caved itself into the wall, but Shizu wasn't done there, as he hit the ground slipping a little before sprinting at the orc, he started to combo it by running around punching and jumping, the punches would hit the orc's face, torso, and legs. Floating his around its body to continue inflicting damage. The orc started to bleed from its mouth and nose. Angrily removing its arm from the wall, he swung frantically at Shizu trying to hit him, but he was too fast, the moment he swung Shizu just jumped over to avoid the strike and delivered one of his own to its face or somewhere alongside its body.
"Enough!"
The angered orc stood still and continued to get hit by him. But now it started paying attention and reading his movements, waiting for the right moment. He finds the open opportunity and interlocks his fingers together raising his arms up and slams down catching him. Shizu stopped looking up at his fists coming down, without any other choice because the size of the orc's hands was too wide, Shizu put both of his hands up to block the hit but by doing this it trapped him in place making him stuck.
'You've got to be kidding me! After all those hits he's still so damn fast. This is bad... I may die... From this... My arms hurt way too bad to keep holding this! Agh!'
The orc pushed down harder and the ground underneath Shizu started to cave in as he was being forced into the flooring. Lifting its arms up he goes for a final slam knowing that he wouldn't be able to block it- The slam shook him causing blood to spew out from his entire body, and his legs started to get weak making him fall to his knees.
"You bow to me now. And die in my sight! Guts destroyer!"
Sticking its arm out, the ax began to glow a darkish red color, it wiggled around before flying from out of the ground and into his hand. Lifting the ax into the air he slams it down at Shizu's staggering body kneeling to the ground.
*Hehe*
Pushing both of his hands down right as the ax was about to make contact. He lunged himself into the air maneuvering his body straight and landing his feet first on the tip of the ax and with his weight pushing it down. When his feet made contact, he sprinted over the handle and over the orc's arm, jumping upwards he winds up his left fist and proceeds to spin counterclockwise.
"This is it for you!"
"Opposite Gyakuten!"
"Drive!"
Dropping the ax, the orc's massive hand grabs his arm before it has made contact. A strong gust of wind blows past its face and slightly damages the surroundings.
"Ha- that puny attack was nothing. Now I break you like I did previous females."
Shizu's eyes twitched with a hint of irritation.
"I figured you would drop your ax again, so that's why I baited you!"
With his right arm, he fiercely drove it through the orc's skull, red-colored blood began to burst out all over its arm and a small amount on his face. The orcs grip loosened and dropped but before he began to fall to the ground from his swaying motion. Shizu left his arm still in his head while blood was pouring out, he then swung his legs over its body, tensing up his arm. Lifting his arm, he managed to pull out half of its spine before his arm broke free. Landing on the ground he thought to himself.
'Ah, that was so nasty... Eww, maybe I did too much. I can't believe I won that... I can say I'm genuinely getting stronger...?'
Turning around and facing the body, he frantically waved his arm around wiping the guts and blood off.
"That asshole deserved it after what he said. And I think a punch through the head is a good way to pay for its sins."
"Now for the fun part! Looting and eating…"
Searching he found a necklace that shrunk to his size capable for him to wear, also finding a crystal shard that was a darkish clear green color. He put it away and whatever else he found in the bag.
"Now for what I really came here for!"
Rubbing his hands together, Shizu grabbed the orc's arm and began to rip at it, eating in such an unmannerly way as if he had not eaten in days, which kind of was the case. After a minute of eating and getting all the way to the bone.
*Burp*
"That's enough for me, it tastes gross, sweaty, sweet, and sour. but nothing like my kind of sweet and sour. Although that should fill me up for a while."
"Now let's see if we can do this one more time?"
Reaching for the crystal, putting it in his right hand facing out.
"Resurrection!"
A bright white light shines around his hand, then changes to the same dark green color as the crystal.
"Alright, orc! Become mine and follow my commands!"
The light became brighter, and the orc's body started to light up and then stopped along with his hand.
"Perfect! Now to, see?"
"Resurrection, Orc Summon!?"
*Ztzztt*
Shizu's hand lit up green and the ax in the distance began to glow, shrinking as it flew from out of the ground and into his palm for a perfect fit.
"Are you serious? This makes no sense at all! What are these crystals even for! Well, I guess it can't be that bad. Now I have its ax? "Guts destroyer" is such a bad name. Anyways now to see what's beyond the door and finally, win this so-called game."
He walks forward and reaches the double-sided door with the strange patterns, leaning his body up against it. Slowly the door started to open, and a loud screeching and creaking noise came from it as it opened. Walking through he takes a glance around and without a second's waste, the door shuts from behind locking him in.
"What a shame..."
While walking forward he looked around seeing that the place was odd. It had a bright but dim color to it ranging from white, green, blue, and black. The flooring was solid and had a square pattern: black and white and a dome-like structure with a few pillars. The walls also had some ancient writing and images on them, Shizu glanced at the remains of dead bodies scattered around some with rotten flesh and others pure bone, as he looked forward there seemed to be one more door.
"This is disturbing... Creepy... Could this have been..."
*No…*
He kept going until he sensed something strange. Four large shadows emerged from his side, two to his left and two to his right. The shadows stopped. Coming out of the shadows were two black orcs with horns sticking out of their shoulders with wide swords in their hands along with a small wooden shield on the opposite hand and were about the same height as the first one. Though two new monsters appeared, man bulls- they carried no weapons and had some type of cloth wrapped around their hands and were shorter than the orcs, around 15 feet tall.
"No way..."
"I can't win against this!"
"Calm down, calm down. They're only going to charge you at any second... All I must do is get to the door and hope... You've got this."
Shizu slapped his face with both hands pumping himself up.
"Here we go!"
