Chapter 27 - Chapter XXVII: Fairy's Wish

Act: 27

The bull raised its right arm and launched a fierce blow at him but in return, Shizu punched back with his right hand. Causing a clash between one another, a gust of wind shot past them the moment they made contact, the force was just enough to damage and slightly crack the walls surrounding them.

'Ugh. Why do I do this to myself... Always challenging these punches!'

Shizu managed to keep it a stalemate in strength for a moment, but his arm was completely folded back. Mainly because the bull was much stronger in brute strength and slowly made him fall back on his knees, which caused him to lean back so he wouldn't end up breaking his arm.

"Not so fast!"

Shizu began to yell as he tried to put more strength into his punch.

Surprisingly he was able to make the bull's arm shake a bit and push it back while straightening his arm. Shocked, the bull let out a fierce roar from its main mouth, and spit flew everywhere. He knew by showing it up in brute strength ended up making it angry. Without hesitation, the bull immediately raised its arm up so fast and slammed it into the flooring. The floor burst creating a hole where Shizu was standing. As the dust cleared out of nowhere Shizu sprung up towards its arm jumping onto it. He ran to its head ready to finish it off easily.

"Really. Is it this easy now... Ha, I guess the saying is true, the bigger they are the harder they fall! Using the same tactic, since I can't kill them otherwise."

Reaching up to its shoulders he prepared himself for a lethal strike.

"I don't even think I need to use my special technique to beat you, if I put everything in this one punch you're gone!"

The bull's mouth on its stomach opened, inhaling everything again it was able to swiftly swoop Shizu off his feet and off its arm where he had been standing, making him fall head straight for its stomach. He panicked, flailing his body in the air as he noticed that he was heading straight for its huge sharp tooth, though the bull's goal wasn't to eat him, instead, it wanted to watch him suffer.

When his body got close to its mouth it closed and the bull's speed increased, with its right arm grabbing him by the legs while in the air, he tossed his body effortlessly upwards into the ceiling. Shizu's body had caved in and slowly fell out and when he did the bull caught him once more swiping at him and flinging him at the walls while still holding onto him. It then started to repeat this same process, blood spewed all over the place and red smears began to taint the walls. The bull then stopped only to throw him into the air to deliver a series of punches with all four of its arms, Shizu's body shook around like a leaf in the wind and much more blood started to spread in the air and onto the bulls' fingers like it was raining blood. After it finished the bull caught him holding onto him tightly and bringing its hand up to its face to observe him. Staring at Shizu's body, which was bent over forward, not moving at all covered in his own blood.

The bull chuckled in a monstrous way.

*Ba-dum, Ba-dum*

Shizu's body sprung up, his eyes covered by a dangerous amount of blood pouring from his head. He wiggled both of his arms free, raising them up and slamming down as hard as he could on his fingers. A shockwave was sent all the way up to its arm, its skin tore open, and blood spewed with part of its bone sticking out that stopped up to its shoulder. The bull screeched, dropping Shizu in the process, his body fell all the way to the floor landing on his back, his body smacked down and ruptured the flooring and causing a loud sound afterward. Shizu's determination was far too high for this bull to realize. Standing back up on his feet he saw that the bull was acting weird but without giving it a chance to relax he ran up to it, jumped onto its leg, he began to climb. The bull shifted around in pain, opening its mouth by the stomach, putting its whole arm inside the one that had been bleeding, slamming its jaw down breaking it. As the mouth shut, biting off the arm. The only thing left was a stub on its shoulder, healed and no blood came out. The bull noticed that Shizu was climbing its leg and it re-opened its mouth, inhaling him once more.

He tried digging his hands in its skin, but the vacuum was too much for him and was swept away, this time he was ready though to be caught by the bull's left hand, having a plan on standby. The bull thought differently, upset it decided to eat him instead. Shizu noticed it had no interest in grabbing him again, right as he got close to the tooth, he punched one inside its stomach alongside him, and the mouth closed shut with a singular tooth missing.

Inside its mouth, Shizu saw that if he didn't use the tooth to jab it in the tissue on the backside. Everything inside was unusually bigger than normal and he was smaller inside, underneath him was a void of emptiness probably where everything else disappeared, for whatever it ate. He began to climb up with the tooth while he felt the vibrations of the body move around from the outside, then shaking intensely up and down, he thought that maybe the bull most likely sat down for whatever reason. Holding on as tight as he could from almost falling, he continued going up, knowing that the bull had to feel something uncomfortable inside? Shizu located a soft spot of tissue and started to tear away at it aggressively. The bull's head went up, standing back on its feet letting out another screech with its left arm trying to grab at its back. Shizu freed himself covered in dark blue blood with tissue and flesh on his hands, clothes, and some in his mouth. Stabbing the tooth on the outside of its back he climbed out, using the tooth as a standing point. He bent down springing himself up to its head. Before it could realize Shizu slammed down on its skull causing it to fall on its back. When it fell to the ground, he walked on its seemingly unconscious body heading to its neck using both of his hands and shoving them inside, then ripping part of its spine out sideways, killing the transformed bull monster.

"..."

Nothing came out of its mouth, so he just proceeded to loot the bull and take some of its meat. Also finding a small black shard with a symbol inside it, he also ripped out a tooth from its stomach and removed a single horn along with gouging out its right eyeball. Hopping down he proceeded to stumble his way up to the last door, upon arrival. Turning around glancing at the destruction and mess but more importantly, he stared at the dead people who entered here and didn't make it out alive.

'It makes sense now. How come no one was able to leave the forest. I still haven't even found a way out and me winning that fight was only by a small percentage.'

"Rest in peace... Your souls have been avenged..."

Shizu turned back around to open the light green double-sided door, different from the first one he opened, entering inside the doors closed behind him like usual, and he was sighted with something odd, strange. In front of him was a glass-like crystal laid upon a branch-like table with a giant tree rooting up to the surface, that it seemed.

"So, you found me. Gross! You're a bloody mess."

Said the voice of the girl he was following.

"I wonder why..."

"Wellll- you did win the game so, ta-da, here I am. Trapped in here for eternity no one else has ever been able to save me until now, you may be the person who the book was talking about?"

"The book that's currently inside my bag?"

"Yes. That book."

"It definitely didn't say anything about me, plus it removed most of the pages itself. What is the whole deal with it?"

"The time I existed. Things were different. Far more secrets inside than you could imagine. Many people over the years tried to take it and use its knowledge-"

"What happened to them? How is it that I still have it or was able to find it for that matter?"

"Because people who wanted to abuse it died from simply opening it and others died from reading it, they were not the chosen one- and when others tried to run away with it, they mysteriously died, thus the book returned back to where it originally was."

Shizu started to think.

"So, was that you're doing? Killing them?"

"No. But it was my prophecy that the non-chosen one will die if they seek my power. Not all died, some left it alone and died because they couldn't figure out how to leave the forest. There was a group of people who were able to read the book and succeed in escaping."

'! Could it be... My Shishou at the dojo...? Just what is going on...?'

"Would it happen to be the people in the photo? That lived in that cabin I was previously in?"

"Correct. They made it all the way to where you were last in, that room did have different creatures back then and there were much more orcs that were around your height, easier to defeat that being their hideout was that room, and where they also reproduced to increase their numbers from other people who failed to win."

"Tch, that explains that. You mean to tell me, the monsters appearing in this forest happened to be your doing!?"

"No. long ago before I was sealed away to die and solely meant to provide for this place. The man who sealed me brought them with and more… With my power he abused it. He used it as a passageway for monsters to roam and enter, that's why there are so many within this hidden cave."

"So, wait. Let me get this straight? What about the group of three, how come they didn't save you or anyone else after them before getting to me! And why did I have to fight those destructive monsters!"

"Simple, the three knew they were not the chosen ones and were strong enough to find a way out but one of them was odd and scary. They left after killing every single monster in this cave without taking the slightest bit of damage, temporarily closing the pathway "he" opened long ago. "

"No way! He's that strong...?"

"Then no one else after them entered the woods from that point on-"

'Probably because the high Rankers made it public to never enter until investigation but seeing they were taking their sweet time.'

"Until around 30 years later someone entered the same place and re-opened the pathway for the monsters to roam everywhere, in the cave and the surface. I watched too as they created those strong mean ones in that room. At first, I thought I was scared and shocked, thinking it had to be the guy who sealed me, no. His energy was different. This one was familiar, but I don't know from whom. I witnessed many deaths and many Star energy's although… Maybe not so different after all."

"Ugh, how fun that was. Question: You've been watching me since the time I entered?"

"Yes, sorry I couldn't help, not only until you found the book. I had a secure feeling you were the one. After all, the book was different ever since those three people came."

"Ah, I see."

'Am I really the one...?'

Her voice sounded much more serious and sounded like she was crying.

"Will you save me!"

"Hm."

"..."

"Nah, not my problem."

The voice made some sad squealing noise.

"I'm just kidding, don't worry, I went through all this trouble, and it has helped me become stronger and I'm grateful. Not too sure I'm the right guy plus I don't even have a flashy Star to help but..."

"I Shizu will save you!"

Walking up closer to it he leaned looking Inside the crystal to see the female body to where the voice had belonged to.
