Chapter 19 - Chapter 17

Freddy

It's been a few minutes since Bonnie left my room, but I still wonder why he came here for, because I'm one hundred percent sure that he didn't come to look for his pick guitar, he always brings it wherever he goes, but then... why did he came for? I thought it was too late because I can see the dawn, but now I remember that today is Sunday, then the restaurant won't open, so we can roam all along the pizzeria during the day as well. I always like to be here on my bed thinking about all my stuff and pondering, by being here I feel better to talk with Bonnie and ask him about this daisy. I couldn't take it anymore, so I took it with me and, indeed, this one's mine, the one I used to have from a young age; now I can't put it back on his place, but I wanted to have it. I hope this wasn't what Bonnie was looking for in my room, or that he had realized that I slept with him on his bed. Damn it! These meditations are good. While I was still looking at the ceiling, I turned around to get myself comfortable in my bed, when I saw my drawer opened; I'm not used to open the second one, I always open the first one to take out and put in some papers of the pizzeria. I don't know, but I think Bonnie did take out something with him. My curiosity grew and I opened all of it. I don't see anything new, there were those old documents I put once, besides... I suddenly remembered that I kept a picture with Funtime Foxy in those days we first met. I kept searching for it, but I couldn't find it, I'm afraid Bonnie had taken it with him. What a jerk! Now what he's going to think about me... Think about me? Did I really say that? Why did I think that about Bonnie? It was not correct by him to take out something without permission, but why do I feel this like a big mistake? I guess I drank too much last night, because I think I'm now out of my mind, it's really good that I take these meditations, I must convince myself that the girl I'm looking for will appear soon, I just have to pay attention.

After some quite minutes of meditation I went hungry, so I'll go to the kitchen to see if Chica have already done breakfast; yesterday, before we began to play, she told me that she was going to make breakfast today, so I agreed with her. While I was getting up, I was thinking about the perfect words to use to Bonnie without making it awkward, I think everything will be better after a delicious pizza. I got to the kitchen's doorway, and I saw Chica staring at a little television that the employees left here, she was watching her favorite Sunday's program.

"Morning," I said.

"Oh. Morning, Freddy. What a night, right?"

"It was too freaked, I have a little headache," I said rubbing my head.

"I know right, your hair is a mess," she said ruffling my hair.

"Yeah," I said chuckling, "later I'm going to shower for rehearsal."

"Ok," she said while opening the oven. "Can you tell Bonnie and Foxy that breakfast is ready?"

"Sure," I said as I got out of the kitchen.

"Hey," Chica said before I could leave, "we should make another night like that one."

"Yeah, right?" I said smirking.

Chica stared at me as she were talking about something in particular. Would it be the fact that I acted like a stripper? I better go to tell the lads.

I got to Bonnie's room, but before I knock the door, I'd bet I heard a sniff, like he were sobbing. I immediately got worried about him.

"Bonnie? Are you ok?" I asked.

"Yes, Freddy. What happened?" he quickly said.

"Breakfast is ready, if you want to join us."

"Oh yeah, I'm going now. Thanks."

"Ok, we'll wait for you."

I stayed outside his room for a while just trying to hear something else, if he wiped his tears perhaps, however, I didn't hear anything, so I just left.

"Foxy, breakfast is ready," I said outside of his cove—which actually is a small stage, but all of us agreed to call it cove.

"Thanks," he said hoarsely.

After I told Foxy, I went to a table where we always have our food, and there was Chica, setting the table with, now, four people.

"You can sit now, Freddy," Chica said pointing my place, "I'll get the pizza."

"Yeah," I said looking at her walking to the kitchen.

I can't stop thinking about poor Bonnie, he would think I'm a punk that has still a crush on his childhood's ex-girlfriend, and not being able to forget her. This is just preposterous.

"Hey... Did Foxy cut you with his hook?" Chica asked looking at my worried face.

"Did I what?" Foxy asked while walking over.

"No, nothing, never mind," she said.

Since Chica arrived at this restaurant, I saw her as a pretty smart girl, she can see beyond of what we can see, with just a little smile or expression she can know if it's a good or a bad person, and she said herself that in the moment she met Bonnie, she could see he's a good boy, with a big heart, but yet, there was something that makes him feel tough, I wasn't so sure about what she meant, but I understand Bonnie is a good animatronic.

"Hey, Freddy. What a great night, huh?" Foxy said patting me on my back.

"Yeah, it was crazy," I said faking a smile.

"Hey, Chica, what kinda beer you gave to us last night?" Foxy asked.

"It's a new one. The owners of the restaurant brought thousands of them, and I thought it would be great to try out some ones," she said while cutting the pizza.

"That thing is too powerful, I'd never felt that dizzy before because of just a drink."

While we were talking about those killing beers Chica gave to us, Bonnie suddenly spoke up right behind me.

"Do you guys mean that beer? I already tried it four days ago, the last day I worked in my restaurant actually."

"Hey, Bonnie, sit here, lad, I'll sit next to Chica," Foxy said while getting up.

"Thanks, Foxy," Bonnie said slowly.

Now I can see Foxy and Chica in front of me, and Bonnie at my right side. I could see Bonnie looks a little quiet, but I decided not to mention it.

"You did try one, Bonnie?" Chica asked while getting a slice of pizza.

"Uhh... Yeah. A friend of mine, called Hippo, gave me one to try, he said they were the most popular," he kept telling us as we were eating, "I don't know about drinks, but he told me that they were light ones, nothing to worry about."

"I guess they weren't what you were expecting, were they?" Foxy said.

"Oh, no doubt, that day I passed out," Bonnie said giggling.

"I thought they were gonna be lighter than that," Chica said, "I'm definitely bringing some more of 'em, what do you think, guys?"

"Sure, why not?" Foxy said.

I hear everybody talking and having a good time, but I can't stop thinking about what Bonnie saw in my room to be this quiet. I know he is shy and kind of subdued, but right now he looks like some ghost is threatening him.

"After I finish, I'm going to help you to clean up your cave, ok, baby?" Chica said.

"For what? It's gonna be dirty again anyway," Foxy said.

"Well, so it could be cleaned instead of dirty, you silly," she said slamming him on the back of his head.

Bonnie giggled by looking at them.

"How about you, Freddy, what are you gonna do?" Chica said.

"I think I'll clean up the stage a little bit, and practice some song that I just knew."

"That sounds great! I'm sure Bonnie wouldn't mind if he goes with you to practice some songs, would you, Bonnie?" she said looking at Bonnie.

"Uh, no, of course I wouldn't, I'd like to practice with you, Fred," Bonnie said blushed.

"Perfect!" Chica said.

I looked at Chica subtlety, but it seems she's just cared about Bonnie and me to be together all day.

"Finish," Chica said.

Now I'm feeling a bit odd by knowing that Bonnie will stay with me, still without knowing why he feels blue yet. I'm sure I'm going to find it out, sooner or later.
