Chapter 24 - Chapter 22

Chica

It seems that I just made a better pizza than the previous ones; this makes me think that maybe Foxy's support helps me to improve my cooking skills; I can't thank him enough for that. While I wait for the pizza in the oven, I'm spending a good time with him, who's sat down in the kitchen's center table.

"Hey, Chica," Foxy said while looking at the table.

"What's up?" I asked.

"Ya know why's a new night guard coming here?"

I thought for a few second, and then I answered.

"The guards have the same responsibility: look after the restaurant so they can get it away from danger, but one of the most important is the night shift: he or she has to watch us from 12 A. M., to 6 A. M., that's the night shift, but beside of watching us the whole night, he or she has to be sure that Golden Freddy stays out from here."

"Golden Freddy?" he asked puzzled.

"That looks like a myth to me, due to the funny way he was born and how he grew up, as well as all the skills he got."

"He can fly?" he asked laughing.

"No, even worse," I said.

"What could be worse than flying then?"

"Teleportation."

"He can?"

"Yes, and he also can take anybody else with him, as long as that person touches him. But I couldn't believe that's real. That only happens in fairy tales and dreams."

"What a dream to be like him!" Foxy said while getting his attention off of me. "If I were him, I'd finally show you who's the man here."

"Oh, don't be silly," I playfully said, "and I could mess with you all I want."

"No, because I'm so smart and I'd know when you're near to me." he strutted with his hook on his chest.

"You're so stupid." I laughed.

"Not much like you," he said.

I smiled to him, and then I went on telling.

"Anyway. There's a little button in the security office, which is a sort of "shield" to protect the whole pizzeria from that dude, making the pizzeria impenetrable of his skills, 'cause, as you already know, any animatronic can't be among the humans, nowhere but a restaurant or a fair where we are allowed to roam. Every night Freddy, before he goes to bed, goes to the security office to press that button. The first days I arrived here, one day, I really wanted to ask Freddy about it: what he did that for, so he precisely told me the story that I'm telling you now."

"Oh my, so the one who already knew what this is all about was Freddy."

"Yep, remember that he must know more of this place than what we both together know. But despite the fact that Golden Freddy is just a m..."

I stopped to take a peek outside the kitchen; just to be sure no one was listening to us.

"What? What are you doing?" Foxy asked staring at me.

"Never tell this to Freddy, this is so secret, ok?"

"Yeah, sure, but, what is it?" he asked impatient.

"When I asked him about that button, Freddy, by himself, took me to a dark and silent place to tell me, and he told me that this golden animatronic is actually his brother, but he was never so "normal", he used to be out of his mind," I whispered.

"So they're family," Foxy whispered back.

"But that's not important."

"Then what is it?" he asked kinda bugged.

"Freddy told me that he can know where Golden Freddy is, like Golden Freddy can know where Freddy is. It looks like they have a system, which works to know for each other where they are. Freddy doesn't want to be seen by his brother, 'cause Golden Freddy thinks that he was forgotten because of the..."

"The what?" Foxy asked.

"I'm gonna tell you another secret, but don't tell Freddy!" I warned.

"Of course, of course," he replied quickly.

"It's just that... Freddy and Golden Freddy were born in the same place, a worn fabric according to Freddy's description, but one day, something caused that fabric fell down and kill all the employees that were in the fabric; Freddy and Golden were there, but Freddy got to get away from there, but Golden couldn't, and they say that his body was found among the rubble, but suddenly his body vanished. He wasn't seen ever again."

"Woah. That is one good story."

"I know, right? Once you're listening to it, you focus even more," I said laughing.

"And you believe that?"

"Well... Freddy's always been kinda serious, but when he told me that, I noticed how important that was for him, and I didn't see why not to believe him. But Golden Freddy's skills, that sounds like a lot of gossips wandering all over the city."

"Well, I don't know, we still can stop pressing that button and see what happens," he suggested.

"No!" I said almost screaming.

"Just kidding," He was still laughing. "I know this has to do with all of us, and Freddy, being our boss. We have to follow his orders."

I looked for a while at Foxy, and then I looked off.

"I swear I saw him so serious, even in his face, so we better keep away from his topics, if he wants to do that, so be it,"

"And why to keep away? It might be better not to keep away, but to be careful."

"What are you talking about?"

"I'm pretty sure there are some issues where Freddy is afraid to suffer the consequences if he doesn't do what it seemed to be the right way."

"You're not talking about... 'Cause if you are, so... What I mean isthat... You noticed that, too?"

"Of course, I could see the picture Bonnie was holding in his hand just when he ran towards his room. I still wonder if that's actually the truth, though their behavior has made me reach this conclusion."

"Holy shit! I wanted no one to see that picture," I said slapping my forehead.

"Did you give it to 'im?" Foxy asked surprised.

Shit, I fucked it up.

"What?" I asked blushed.

Foxy frowned, and then he got an upset grin.

"I took that picture to humiliate Freddy whenever he messes with me, but I got to know Bonnie and his heart, so I changed my mind, now I wanna help Bonnie out to be happy."

"So... Bonnie is gay?"

"I don't like to tag him like that, let's just say that he likes Freddy."

"Oh," Foxy said looking at the table surprised. "So... what are you gonna do?

"In first place, I don't want you to screw up the ideas I got in mind to help them to be closer to each other."

"Ok..." he nodded.

"I want you to not tag them; they're just Freddy and Bonnie, ok?"

"Ok."

"Well, we'll see what comes up to my mind to make these handsome guys get closer to each other."

"Oh, so I'm not handsome like them," Foxy asked offended.

"No, you're not handsome, you're ugly, ugly," I said playfully.

Foxy smiled to me and got up to walk to me.

"You're ugly, ugly, ugly, too," he said purring me, "but you're my favorite ugly girl."

"I'm your ugly, ugly?" I said putting my arms over his shoulders.

"You're my ugly, ugly, ugly." He tilted his face closer to kiss me.

After a romantic moment with my Foxy, something made my attention go away from him.

"Hey, ugly" I asked.

"Mmm?"

"You showered?"

"No, it's not me, but I can smell it too," he said as he sniffed around.

"It's..."

I quickly looked at the oven, where there was a burning pizza inside it

"No!" I screamed as I ran towards it.

"Wait, wait, I'm gonna help ya!" Foxy shouted behind me.

My pizzas definitely won't be known beyond these doors if I totally forget everything about 'em.
