Chapter 9 - Chapter 7

"All set, Bonnie!" Hippo said closing whatever he opened in my back," you can be sure nothing's gonna go out from there, unless you open it yourself, of course, but as you don't know how to do that yet, there won't be any problem."

"Thank you some much, guys," I said, "I don't know what would I do without you, guys, I'm gonna miss you so."

"We are going to miss you too, Bonnie," Frog said leaving some tears. "We swear that if we can, we will look for you, we will be searching for news about you, and we will be able to visit you as soon as possible."

I'm feeling so thrilled having them as my friends. After I thanked them, I honestly and friendly hugged them as warm as possible to show them how important they have been in my life, and that I will never forget them.

"It's 5:30 A. M., we gotta go, Frog," Hippo said while looking at his watch.

"Yes, let's go."

"Good luck, Bonnie!" Hippo said while we walked out.

"Goodbye, Bonnie, love you so much!" Frog said waving at me while walking out too.

"Goodbye, guys. Thank you so much!" I waved them back.

7:00 A. M.

It's one hour earlier than the usual time the employees arrive to the restaurant to fulfill their work. There are just two men here with a track waiting in the parking lot; I guess they did come for me. I went to my first position and closed my eyes; I heard one of them walking toward the stage, like a child does when they want to see me.

"Good morning, Bonnie. Are you ready for your new home?"

I don't want to open my eyes, 'cause they could think I have an error on my system and I move without a human authorization, which I actually do, but I can let them know it.

"Hurry! We can't let anyone see us while taking him out."

"Alright, alright, let's put him here quickly."

Why are they being so sneaky? Is it some kind of kidnapping thing? My breathing just got faster, why I can't stop thinking a lot about what I think it's going to happen when actually there's nothing going on, maybe that's why I'm so shy.

They carried me in a thing made of metal of my size; I'm still on my feet. I slightly opened my eyes to see a bit of this. We already got to the parking lot, but I'm still in this kind of little car. What does the track say? It looks like it says where it comes from, but I can't see it at all.

"Ok, we can leave now," one man said.

When I saw those men walking to the right side of the track, I turned quickly my head to read the name of the track.

"... pizza."

Pizza? I will go to a fast food restaurant too. It doesn't look so bad, at least I already know that they're not kidnappers who're gonna take me in a dark place forever. Ahh! I'm still overthinking. I better shut my thoughts up.

"According to this, we'll arrive when the restaurant is closed."

"Perfect! It'll be a surprise."

I could hear those men talking to each other. Perfect! They didn't turn me off, or did something to deprive me of moving, I guess I'll just have to spend the rest of the day inside this dark track.

Where am I? My head hurts a lot. Oh! I remember, I'm still in this track going to that new restaurant, I think I fell asleep.

"Are you ok, Bonnie?"

What? I heard a tiny voice in the track where I am right now; asking me if I'm ok, I thought I was alone in here.

"Uh? Who are you?" I asked looking around in this lightless place.

"I'm here," that creature said, "Don't you remember me?"

As soon as I heard the answer, my heart started to beat faster than ever. It can't be! That's... That's...!

"I'm here, Bonnie, I'm Ivy," Ivy said in one corner of the track, oddly dazzling.

"Ivy!" I said about to cry, "Ivy, I can't believe this, it's you!"

Ivy didn't say anything, she was just there staring at me smiling, but then her smile faded, and she got a disappointed grin.

"Why didn't you save me, Bonnie?" she asked me, "I was so scared of that monster, I wanted you to save me."

"Ivy," I said sweating and shuddering, "I tried to save you, I swear, I didn't want you to be in danger and, when I saw that monster, I didn't know what to do, I didn't want it to happen to you."

"I thought you were going to help me from him," Ivy said looking down and closing her little eyes.

I was a wreck by seeing her there and got to hear that I, her best friend, couldn't save her from that creature. I started a weep, I feel like I have no heart to handle with this.

"Ivy, please forgive me!" I said groaning and crying, "Forgive me!"

Suddenly, the door of the track opened, releasing a blinding white light, someone could bet that the sun was right in front of us, but not its temperature.

I was staring at that light, and then I looked back at Ivy, who was looking at the light too, as if someone were telling her to come and leave this place.

"Bye, Bonnie!" Ivy said to me. "I love you some much, little rabbit!"

"Ivy!" I shouted and looked at her walking to the light. "Ivy, please don't go! Don't leave me, Ivy! Forgive me! No! Forgive me, Ivy! You didn't deserve this! Ivy!"

My voice started to break while I kept begging for Ivy to come back, but she was still walking toward it. I'm on my knees hitting in the floor with my fists uncontrollably, just because I wasn't able to save her. I'm a monster!

I woke up sweating and breathing hard on the floor, I turned my head to the track's door to be sure that... Yes, it was just a dream... I thought it was real, but fortunately it wasn't, it was just a nightmare. I can see it's already night, because there are no more sun rays breaking through. We are not there yet? This took a little longer than I thought. I started to eat the apple I packed and just sit down in the floor, and wait until we arrive.

We're now going slower, like we're finally parking somewhere. I did it! I better close my eyes and hide my little apple.

When we stopped, I heard these men getting off and talking to each other, I wasn't so sure what they were talking exactly. I heard that they, at last, opened the door where I was.

"Ok, Bonnie, your new life's about to begin."

I felt how one of them hopped me on to put me into a crate of my size, actually. They started to carry me to wherever they were carrying me. I heard a crystal door opening, like the MoonLight's one, I guess it is a fast food restaurant, or a pizzas' one, I read.

"Hurry, this place is spooky at night."

"Let's leave him here."

I felt how they left my crate on the ground, after they were checking and putting some tickets on my crate, those men left the place. Now what do I do? Should I break this crate? Someone could hear me, I don't even know if there's someone around, or where I even am, but I'm sick of being inside of things or tracks. I will wait some more.

I kept waiting for something or someone to get me out of this crate, I didn't know if I had to do it myself, but then I heard somebody walking to the spot where I was, I guess he or she just realized about my presence, or my crate's presence. Those steps are stronger, but they don't sound like human's shoes, nor like women's slippers, that sounds like someone taking a heavy piece of metal with them. Animatronics?

Someone was struggling to open the crate up; it's definitely someone trying to get me out. I'm not moving, so I better close my eyes again.

The top of the crate popped out, I just heard how he or she left the top on the ground. I kept myself with my eyes closed waiting for a sign of a move, when suddenly I felt a touch in my chest. As I felt that touch, I slowly opened my eyes, and then I finally could see who was trying to help me to get out of this crate.
