"you-!"
"Hey hey! Easy, easy."
When Yoro came back to his senses, Chad had already stroded forward with his hand on the sword's hilt on his hips, ready to incapacitate the man in front of him. His act, however, attracted many eyes around towards him.
Fortunately, he stopped before blood could be spilled and walked back behind Yoro with a snort, glaring at Mato while doing so. Yoro could only let out a relieved sigh when everyone's attention diverted back to their respective business.
"What kind of information?" Yoro asked with a frown.
The man smiled when he saw Yoro was interested. "For that part, you have to win against me first." Tapping the table in front of him, he then stated his requirement. "And I want you to bet 200 gold coins."
Yoro's frown only got deeper at his words. Yoro was bringing 100 gold coins in his pouch, but he brought those with an expectation to win. He didn't want those to be spent carelessly like this, and it still wasn't including the possibility if he lost later. He had clairvoyance and could see the future, yes, but if he got unlucky, giving up the round only gave him a half cut from the initial coins he lost.
Looking at Mato's confident manner, even Yoro wouldn't be able to do anything if he was cheating or incredibly lucky.
Yoro felt bitter in his heart when he realized it wasn't a gamble he could win. But just when he wanted to shake his head and decline, a voice sounded out from behind him in a sudden.
"Wait"
From the voice alone, Yoro knew very well that it came from Chadrac. He still wondered what he was going to say though. As he turned around, a figure of a baldy glaring ferociously came to his sight, a pouch was in his hand.
"Let me deal with this one."
Yoro was flabbergasted for a second. He thought he was heard wrong for a second, but he realized it wasn't the case as he saw his serious expression. Chad was dead serious on doing this one for some reason Yoro couldn't comprehend.
'Didn't he said he had some bad experiences in this place? Does he really want to do it again and lose 200 gold coins? Just for me?'
Yoro's confusion was understandable. If Yoro was in Chad's shoes, he wouldn't dare to even come in this place anymore if he had lost that much. 200 gold coins was by no means small, and it took years for someone like Chad to save that much money.
Yoro felt bad in his heart as he thought about this. He didn't know how he would face Chad in the future if he lost those money only for his ego and sake. But just when he wanted to decline, something caught the corner of his eyes.
It was Mato, and for some unknown reason, his face paled beyond comparison. This fact made Yoro raise his eyebrows. His face was very pale if not paler than his own. His eyes locked at Chad, and he bit his lips as if unsure if he should accept it or not.
If Yoro hadn't known better, he would think that he was afraid of Chad.
But then again, some strange idea came to his mind. What if, only if, Chad's bad experience didn't come from losing money? It could be for another reason. Considering Chad's nature, it basically could be anything.
Breaking things was one of the perfect example.
'...wait, why haven't I thought of that possibility?' Yoro widened his eyes, a light of understanding came to those beautiful sky blue orbs of his. It was highly possible if Chad's reason for 'bad experience' was something like that. And it also when he realized how much he had underestimated Chadrac in this whole time. Yoro never thought that far. He only thought that he was all muscle and no brains, but it seemed that there was more than meets the eye.
"young master!"
Chad's shout awakened him back to his senses. It seemed he was dazed again. Seeing Chad's concerned expression, Yoro smiled and got up from his seat. He patted Chad's shoulder, encouraging him in the meantime. "Win this for me."
"Heh, leave this to me." Chad smacked his chest in a reliable manner and sat across the sweating Mato.
"W-wait, this is not our dea-"
"You win, you get 200 gold coins, and if you lose, then I will get the information I wanted. I believe you never said it should be me who gambled. Or... do you want to go against your own word?" Yoro squinted his eyes at him, cutting all arguments he wanted to say.
Mato gritted his teeth, hesitant in accepting his condition. But in the end, he could only sighed and nodded at Chad, who then proceeded to give his 200 gold coins pouch to the clerk. After the clerk nodded and accepted their bet and started to shake the card, the very card which would decide if Chad would lose all of his gold coins or not.
Yoro observed their gameplay intently, curious at how Chad would win this game. And quite soon enough, he could see the reason for Chad's confidence and Mato's nervousness as expected.
'Chad's mana is… circulated' Yoro could feel it. He could feel the same feeling he got when he was sparing against Chad in the yard 5 days ago.
It was the feeling when he got Clairvoyance.
As the game continued, Chad's choice was always decisive. He never falters or even hesitated for a mere second. It was as if he knew the card in his hand, in Mato's hand, and in the dealer's hand.
It was as if…. he could see the future like him. Only, Chad's skill was way more greater in its use compared to Yoro's
When Yoro looked at Mato and the dealer's expression, it was evident that they didn't know what's happening, or how Chad could pull out such a feat. The one who knew Chad was using his skill was Yoro and Yoro alone.
It's precisely because of his innate perk.

As soon as he got his notification, he somehow instantly got a hold at how this new ability of his works. Eager to try it, Yoro then started the other function on his eyes. Along with his skill's activation, he could feel a very small fatigue. It could be ignored, but he could guess he might faint if he pushed himself to maintain this ability for a duration of 1 hour non-stop.
And when his passive skill activated, something his former eyes, something that mere normal eyes couldn't see, slowly appeared in his sight. Faint mots of blue light of mana, an ant across the room, and the card that both Mato and the dealer was holding, all invaded his sight and made him stunned on his spot out of awe.
Turned out, his choice to come here and trained his ability was a right choice after all.
