Angel's POV:
Three Months Later*
These past three months have been hell. I've put on weight, I've been on an emotional roller coaster, my moods switched like crazy, and I've had to keep and eye out for Elizabeth. It was hard tryna do everything. I tried to not think about it much but I couldn't help it. I walked past my mirror and looked at myself. I looked at my stomach. It was out. Hold up. Think about it. Weight gain, mood changes...am I pregnant again? There ya go. I took off outside the house and got to my car. I quickly drove off and drove to the hospital. I pulled up and quickly ran inside. I walked up to the counter. "Hello." I said to the nurse. She looked at me. "Hi. Can I help you?" She asked. "I'd like a room please." I said. She nodded. "Have a seat. A doctor will be with you in thirty minutes." She said.
I pulled out a hundred dollar bill. "I'd like a room right now please." I said. She looked around and took the $100. "Follow me please." She said. She took me to a room on the second floor and to a room. I waited ten minutes before a doctor came in. "Hello. What seems to be the problem?" He asked. "I think I may be pregnant." I said. He looked at me. "Well let's see confirm that, shall we?" He said, before he left. He came back a few minutes later, with a pee cup. I peed in the cup and gave it back. He took the cup and left for about forty five minutes. My phone went off multiple times. Most of the calls were from Lucky. I wanted to know if I was pregnant or not before I tell him where I'm at. The doctor came back and I got even more nervous.
"Congratulations Ms. Starlight. You are, in fact, pregnant." He said. I gasped and grinned. Yayyy!!!! You've been given a second chance at this love. Don't let Elizabeth and stress get to you this time. No way. Not this time. "Thank you so much Doctor. May I have an ultrasound?" I asked. He nodded. We went to another room and I got an ultrasound. "Have a nice day." I said, as I walked out the room. I walked out the hospital and back to my car. I got in and drove off. I then got a text from Kacey saying congratulations. Damn bitch. At least me tell you the great news. I thanked her and kept driving. I drove to Light Lake. I got out and walked around.
I walked alongside the banks and the pier. I then sat down. I texted Lucky to meet me here. It was about ten minutes before he arrived. He walked up to me and sat down. "Hey. What are you doing out here?" He asked. "I wanted to just....be one with nature." I said, staring at the water. "Alright you treehugger." He said. I laughed. "Nah." I said. "I thought you were going with Keisha to get your nails done today?" He asked. "I was but she left me for Marcus." I said. He laughed. "Yeah Marcus ditched his Dad because he had some important to do." He said. "And that'll be Keisha." I said. We laughed. He wrapped his arms around me. I smiled. "So you came out here just to chill?" He asked. "Yeah. Kinda." I said.
"We can chill at mine." He said. I frowned at him. "Is Elizabeth gonna kidnap you again?" I asked. I remember that vision I had. Lucky got taken by Elizabeth. By the time I got there, he was gone. So was Elizabeth and her scent. I didn't have any idea where they could be. I had the visions of what Elizabeth made Lucky do. It was disgusting. She truly was a sick person. "Hopefully not." Lucky said. He sighed. "I now have another problem now that she's pregnant. It's been three months." He said. I scoffed. "What?" He asked. "Lucky she's not pregnant." I said. He turned me around and made me look at him. "What?" He asked. "Yeah. Ol girl is not pregnant. Haven't you figured out why she's so jealous of me?" I asked.
He shook his head. "Not only am I your girlfriend, but I can get pregnant. She can't. She's infertile. She may get a butt load of your sperm but it's no use. She can't get pregnant. That's why she hates me so much." I said. He was so surprised. "Damn. That's sad." He said. "Yeah it is." I said. "Well that's one less problem I gotta worry about." He said, kissing me. I smiled. "What?" He asked. I kissed him. I leaned towards him so was above him. "Guess what I'm so happy about today." I said. "Cause I'm here?" He said. I laughed. "Your an ass. No." I said. "What is it?" He asked, curiously. I smirked. "Angel!!! Tell me!!" He said. I shook my head and giggled. "Angel!!!" He whined.
Then he kissed my neck over and over again. I laughed cause it tickled. "Okay okay. Guess what I found out?" I asked. "What?" He asked. "I'm pregnant love." I said. He stared at me. His smile disappeared. "Angel don't play with me. Not like that." He said. I pulled my ultrasound out of my pocket and showed him. He looked at it then gasped. He hugged me tightly. He hugged me so hard, we fell into the water. We surfaced. "OH MY GOD ANGEL!!!!" He screamed. I giggled. "Yes baby!!" I said. "Oh my God I'm so fucking excited!!!" He cried. We swam to shore and dried off. I walked to my car and he walked to his. I used my powers to dry him off. "Oh my God Angel. Baby, we're having another baby." He said, excitedly.
"I know baby. I'm so excited." I said. "Okay. What your gonna do now is go home and rest. No stress whatsoever Angel. I'm not playing." He said. "Don't worry baby. I'm going now. I just came out here to relax." I said. He kissed and hugged me before leaving. As we drove back to town, he screamed out the window. "IM GONNA BE A DAD AGAIN!!!" He screamed. Some people congratulated him. I smiled and shook my head. I can't believe him. I drove back home and got out. I walked in the house and in the kitchen. "Hey Angel." Meghan said. "Hey." I said. "So...Angel, we're gonna do happy hour. You in?" Aaliyah asked. "Can't." I said. "What? Why not?" Meghan asked. I held up my ultrasound. They both gasped and cheered. Aaliyah picked me up. "OH MY GOD!!!" She cried.
I laughed. Everyone ran in the kitchen. "What? What happened?" Alma asked. "Angel's pregnant!!" Meghan said. "Oh congratulations Angel." Bryan said. "Have you told Lucky?" Stan asked. I nodded. "He was the first one I told." I said. "Oh my God. This is fantastic." Alma said. I nodded. After the news, I pulled Alma to the side. "And I know your pregnant too ma'am." I said. She looked at me. "My psychic powers are phenomenal." I said. "For now." She said. I nodded. "Yep. Now my powers will be gone until I give birth." I said. "Oh Angel. We both just gotta hang on." She said, then walked away. "Hey Alma?" I called. She looked at me. "You and Bryan will be all right." I said. She smiled and nodded.
I walked to my room and chilled. I got texts from Marcus and Keisha telling me congratulations. I smiled and texted them thank you. It was an hour before I fell asleep. I woke up feeling hot. I opened my eyes to see arms wrapped me. I looked behind me and seen Lucky. He was sleep. I tried to slide out of him but it was no use. I sighed softly and stared out the window. I was like that for another minute before I had to pee. I forcefully pried Lucky's arms off me and walked to the bathroom. "Angel?" He called. "Just going to the bathroom love." I said. I did my business and came out. He stared at me as I walked over to him. "What?" I asked. "I just wanna make sure that your comfortable." He said. I sighed. "Baby I'm fine." I said.
He wrapped his arms around me as I sat down. "I'm sorry Angel. I just don't wanna go through another miscarriage." He said. I nodded. A tear escaped my eyes but he wiped them away. "Me neither. I'm gonna relax and just chill for awhile." I said. "Really take it easy." He said. I nodded. We laid together til Marcus and Keisha came in the room. She went to go pee. "Ya know Angel, you won't be the only whose pregnant." Marcus whispered. I laughed. "Oh I know. I have a feeling your gonna want a child. But wait awhile. I don't want anyone ruining my spotlight." I said, smiling. Lucky laughed. "Alright we gotta do something." Keisha said. "What do you mean?" Lucky asked. She moved us out the room and we went downstairs. "Apparently we're having a house meeting." Meghan said.
"Alright guys. Somehow, Elizabeth knows every things about Angel. Whenever she goes to the hospital, everything." She said. We all nodded. "So, how bout, any time we see Elizabeth or her uncle, we don't say anything. We know nothing of Angel being pregnant." Marcus said. "Exactly." Keisha said. "But I went to the hospital today." I said. "Well we just gotta delete your record somehow." Alma said. "Leave that to me." Meghan said. "Great. So we're all clear. Angel, tell your parents and tell the the same thing." Bryan said. "Yeah they weren't very happy they found out I was pregnant." I said. "I'll talk to them." Keisha said. "Great. So we're all clear?" Stan asked. We all nodded. "All right. Angel, until it's safe to do anything, you take it easy." Alma said.
I nodded. "Got it." I said. "Good. Now everyone go back home." Bryan said. Lucky kissed me goodbye and left. I went up to my room and watched TV til I fell asleep. I woke up and ran to the bathroom to throw up. I threw up a lot or fluid. I looked at my phone. It was eleven o clock. I went downstairs and looked for some food. I ate and drunk some juice. I went back to bed. I woke up to Keisha coming in my room. "Oh good your awake." She said. "I was sleeping." I said, grumpily. "Oh well. Get up." She said. "For what?" I asked. "We're going out to eat." She said. I blew a breath. "What are we going to eat?" I asked. "Let's go!!!" She said, opening my blinds. I squinted and turned away.
"Get up Angel!!" She said. "I'm up I'm up." I said, sitting up. She walked the room so I could change. I came back out and we walked downstairs. We walked out the house and to her car. She drove off smiling. "Keisha why are you smiling?" I asked. "Just cause." She said. "Are you pregnant too?" I asked. "Girl no. I'm just happy to be spending time with my sister." She said. "Mmh. Yo ass want something." I said. She laughed. "You know me too well." She said. She pulled up to Dairy Queen. I seen Lucky's cat. "Keisha." I said. "Okay. Me and Marcus was supposed to go on a double date with his friend whose tryna get with this dude. I didn't wanna be alone so I want you and Lucky to come with us." She said.
"Bitch." I said, glaring at her. "Who is it?" I asked. "Cara." She said, sheepishly. "The bitch you almost fought cause she claimed Marcus was her daughter's father?" I said. She nodded. "Yep. She thinks we're friends and wanted me to come along. Marcus told me to be nice to her but....even though she didn't get pregnant by Marcus, I still don't like her." She said. "Keisha. Why the hell you drag me into this?" I asked, irritably. "Girl. Sister code. Help me out." She said. I sighed and got out the car. We walked inside and immediately seen Lucky and Marcus. They were sitting across from Cara and her guy. "Hey Keisha. And this is her sister Angel." Cara said, coming over to us. God I really don't wanna be here. Lucky and Marcus stood up too.
"Angel. I'm guessing that's your name because you look like an Angel?" The boy asked, laughing. I gave a fake laugh. "I'm guessing you used the same joke on Lucky?" I asked. He nodded. I looked at him. Lucky put his arm around me. "How you feeling?" He whispered. "I really don't wanna be here." I growled. "Neither does Marcus. Also, Angel try not to be negative." He said. I glared at him. "Why not?" I asked. "Cause our baby is growing inside you and I don't want them to grow up mean like your sister." He said. I smiled and giggled. "Okay so we gon eat or what?" Marcus asked, irritably. We all sat down at a booth and ordered ice cream. "Ya know, I've always wanted to try that blizzard that doesn't fall out." Cara said.
I looked at her. She actually tipped her blizzard over. After about ten seconds, it fell out. Me and Keisha shared a look. She laughed while I snickered. The boys hit us. Cara went to get another blizzard. "So um, Terry. How long have you known Cara?" I asked. "About two weeks." He said. "Do you like her?" Keisha asked. He didn't say anything. We looked at him. He was on his phone. Rude ass. I used my powers to make his phone glitch. He set it down. Cara came back. "So." She said. "Nice guy you got here Cara." I said, sarcastically. "Thanks Angel." Terry said, smiling at me. He bit his lip at me. I felt Lucky tense up. Then I smelled cinnamon. I rolled my eyes.
Of all the times she decides to show up. Elizabeth came up behind me and tapped Lucky in his shoulder. He ignored her. "So Terry, how old are you?" He asked. "Twenty." He said. "Uh Lucky?" Elizabeth called. "So guys, what exactly are we gonna do today?" I asked, curiously. "Uh, Lucky. You uh, got a girl who wants to talk to you." Terry said. "I know." Lucky said. From the time of his voice, he was agitated by Elizabeth. "Then talk to me Lucky. Elizabeth said. Lucky sighed irritably. "What now?" He asked angrily. "It's private." She said. "Bitch say it out loud." Lucky said. "Fine. I'm pregnant." She said, loudly. Everyone in the restaurant looked at us. Keisha looked at me. I smiled and shook my head.
"Fuck out my face with that lie." Lucky said. Elizabeth then took out and ultrasound and waved it in his face. "Is this a lie?" She asked. She threw it at him. He let it fall on the table. Elizabeth grunted in frustration. She left but not before pulling my hair. "BITCH!!" I shouted. I got up and ran after her but Lucky held me down. Macau tried todo the same with Keisha. "Nah man. She put her hands on my sister. Angel wasn't looking you dumb hoe!! Square up!!!" Keisha yelled. "Let it go." Marcus said. We went back inside and grabbed our ice cream. We left and went to the cars. "I'm out." I said. "No!!!" Cara cried. She ran over to me. "Angel please don't go." She said. "Look Cara, I'm sorry but I'm just not in a mood right now." I said.
I began to walk down the street. Lucky grabbed me. "Your not going home by yourself." He said. He pulled me to his car. Marcus and Keisha were left alone with Cara and Terry. Instead of taking me home, Lucky took me to his house. "Lucky what are we doing here?" I asked, irritably. "Angel please." Be said. I could tell he was just as irritated as I was. We got out the car and walked in. "Oh hi Angel. Congratulations on your second pregnancy." Alicia said. I smiled. "Thank you." I said. "What's wrong?" She asked. "Elizabeth. She showed up and tried to pick a fight with Angel." Lucky said. "What?" Dylan said. "Yep. She pulled my hair just as she as leaving." I said. "That's terrible." Alicia said.
I nodded. "Yeah. She just better hope Keisha doesn't see her anytime soon." I said. "Yeah. Keisha is not one to mess with." Lucky said, pulling me upstairs. He took me in his room. I sat down on his bed. "Look Angel, I'm pissed off about Elizabeth too but you know you can't be fighting." He said. "I'm sorry but she pulled my hair. I don't know anybody who takes too kindly to that." I said. "Angel baby, I really don't want you stressed out. Especially over her. Take it easy." He said. "I am. So what? I keep my distance from her?" I asked. He nodded. "Just til you give birth baby." He said. "Okay." I said. "In the meantime, Keisha will be doing all the fighting." He said. I shook my head and laid back. We watched TV til I decided I wanted to go home. He drove me home while keeping a lookout for Elizabeth.
Ain't no telling how she found us earlier. I kissed Lucky goodbye and walked inside the house. My parents were there. They didn't look too happy. They found out about my pregnancy when they bumped into Meghan. I had to tell them that it was okay. I was gonna keep my cool and not get stressed out this time. I was keeping my baby this time. And Elizabeth was gonna make me have another miscarriage. I've been given a second chance and I'm gonna take it.
