As envious as Ian was of the drugged version of himself, he was also repulsed by his words. He had never used a begging or pleading tone with anyone, and now he was listening to himself grovel before a woman he barely knew. Ian knew he was handsome, and he knew that aside from Lisa, there were literally hundreds of women who would willingly lay down beside him, but here he was bending at the waist for someone who clearly was not one of those women.
There was another long pause in the audio and Ian could not tell what was happening. He heard Mina speak.
"Ian, do you really want to be with me?"
"Mina, look between my legs, of course I do." Ian heard a slapping sound and Mina laughed hard. It was the shocked laughter of being caught off guard.
"Not that!" Mina said with a hint of being teased in her voice. "I mean, do you really want to be my boyfriend."
