Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Bagged

Ian struggled to remember what happened the night before, but he could not. He looked down at himself and was embarrassed to see that he was also naked. There was a light smearing of blood on his lower body but there was no obvious injury. Ian looked toward the bed and instantly felt sick.

'Had he and that woman... Had he done this to her?' Ian's thoughts became dark. There was a dark stain on the bed linen, and it did not look normal.

Ian was momentarily unable to move. Nothing in his life prepared him for the sort of situation he was experiencing and on top of that, his mind was still in a haze. He could not think of what he should do next, and as he stood in the doorway, he grabbed his hair with both hands, feeling the room spin. He knew he would not have done anything disgusting; someone else must have been responsible.

----

Mina was still on the floor, holding her body. She was in so much pain that even breathing hurt. She did not know the man was capable of something so terrible. When she imagined being tortured by President Lee, she pictured many things but not what he had done, and why couldn't she remember anything?

Mina opened her mouth and let out a whimper. She looked at President Lee and pleaded with him.

"Please, take me to a hospital." The man looked at her in disgust.

'Why would I take you to a hospital?' He thought to himself, but Mina looked so pitiful that he did not speak the words aloud. Subconsciously, he really felt bad for her, but he still did not plan to take her for treatment. After getting the information he needed, he was just going to kill her.

As Ian was lost in thought, Mina's body began to violently shake. Her head hit the ground several times, and her eyes rolled back into their sockets. He knew she was having a seizure and he instantly thought that she must have swallowed poison to avoid being interrogated.

Ian dashed forward and held her head to stop it from hitting the floor. He turned her face away from him to keep her from choking on her own spittle. She had a fresh gash on her head that looked as if she had been hit with a blunt item. He absentmindedly touched the wound while waiting for her body to stop moving, and it was still bleeding.

After a few seconds, Mina's body fell limp. Ian quickly grabbed a towel and covered her. While he did not care about her modesty, it was wrong to allow his men to come in and look at her. The gash on her head gave him cause to believe that she may not have been a willing participant in all parts of the plan.

Besides, Mina was beautiful, even covered in bruises, her beauty could still be seen... and her body, her body was really…

Ian shook his head. He had disgusted himself for thinking that way at a time where he should be focused on trying to figure out what happened. He grabbed his robe and headed for the door. As he tried to cover himself properly, he noticed the bolt lock still in place.

Before his guards left, they had scanned the room and found no one. Ian knew there was no way anyone could have gotten in without breaking down the door.

'Did they come in through the window?' he thought.

Before opening the door, Ian looked back at the lifeless figure on the ground. He was filled with conflicting emotions. On one hand, he felt guilty; although he was not certain he, himself, had done anything, the woman's body was evidence enough that something terrible had happened. On the other hand, Ian felt rage; someone had forced the situation on him, and he was not entirely sure who.

Yes, he had planned to torture and kill the girl, but what he believed happened was not an acceptable or reliable method of torture. Ian's mind began to recount the sickening stories that were told in his building just four months ago, and now he felt just as guilty as the men he ejected from his company.

Ian slid the bolt back and opened the door. His guards were startled by his appearance. His face was pale, and his hair was a mess. They had never seen him look unkempt, and he could tell by their faces that they did not know how to react.

Ian ordered one of the men to get a duffle bag big enough to fit a body. Without question the man left, and Ian closed the door behind him, grabbing his phone to make a call.

"Hello brother," said a cheerful voice. Ian did not bother with a greeting.

"Meet me at the women's hospital in Scal's medical district. Bring a doctor we can trust and tell no one else about this matter." On the other end, Luna's face dropped.

"What happened?"

"I will explain it to you when I see you." Luna could sense that something was seriously wrong.

"I'll be there in twenty minutes. Explain it to me then," she said. He nodded his head but did not speak as he ended the call.

Ian's legs felt heavy as he quickly put on his clothes. Mina still lay on the bathroom floor unmoving. Her chest was gently rising and falling but the rhythm was irregular. He began to panic; he would not allow her to die so easily. He needed to know what happened and how, and he still wanted to know where she was trained. He was no longer interested in her instructors, he just wanted to blow the place up. Even if it were a loss for him and the Lee family, the possibility of rivals having her capability was unacceptable.

----

There was a knock at the door and Ian opened it. His guard had returned with a large black bag. He gestured for the men to come into the room and pointed to the woman on the ground. Ian instructed the men to put her inside the bag.

As the men walked closer, they noticed the woman was only covered with a towel. They had already seen the blood on the bed, and they knew it did not come from their boss, but now they could see where the blood had come from.

Ian noticed the men hesitate and he realized how the situation must have appeared to them. He did not bother to explain; Instead, he pulled the sheets off the bed and wrapped them around Mina's body. His movements were quick, and he left no area uncovered. The act clearly put his men at ease, and they grabbed the woman by her limbs, gently placing her into the bag. She fit easily; the girl was five foot six inches at the max, and she probably weighed somewhere between one-hundred-fifteen and one-hundred-thirty pounds.

Once the bag was fully zipped, Ian directed one of his guards to stay behind and guard the empty room; he was to touch nothing. The man nodded his head once and Ian gestured for the second guard to pick the bagged woman up and follow him. The man draped the duffle bag over his shoulders and followed his boss out of the suite.
