Kara's POV
Mona and I get into Millie's SUV and buckle our seatbelts as Millie does the same.
Mona wanted to sit in the front but Millie gave her the eye and insisted that I sit in the front instead.
The drive to the mall - I suppose - was short and uneventful
"Is this the mall?" I couldn't help but ask
"No sweetie, its like a back to school mart or something. But all in all, its like a Supermarket" Millie replied
"Oh okay"
We all got down and walked to the store. It had a big sign that said Supermaxet in red block letters. It's weird but its cool I guess.
When we entered the cool air hit me. It was fairly full, but yet seemed scanty, I don't know how that is possible but yeah.
"Heeyy Millie, how's it going!" The brown haired woman behind the cashier said, waving us over.
"Margaret!" Millie greeted as she hugged her
"It feels like I haven't seen you in a long time!" Mille said into the hug
"Its only been two weeks Millie" Margaret said and giggled while I just stood there awkwardly.
"Oh, I'm so sorry, Maggie this is Kara, my new daughter , Kara this is Margaret an old friend and owner of the supermaxet"
New daughter.
I don't like the sound of that.
Margaret pulled me in for a hug which I awkwardly returned.
"Oh Millie she's so beautiful and she's got the prettiest eyes"
"Yea..well we have to get shopping now right? Catch you later Mag" Millie said as she dragged me to the bag section.
"Mona's somewhere here so why don't you get shopping Kay? I gotta go take this call, its important" She said gesturing to her ringing phone.
I nod and watch her leave then I start browsing for bags.
All these school bags look like their for preschoolers. Yellow and green, pink and purple, Green and pink, yellow and red. Gosh, all these look disgusting.
I scrunched up my face looking at each if them. Whatever happened to black??
"Not seen any one ya like?" A voice said at the back of me all of a sudden.
"I swear to God, Gavin I will choke your non-existent neck if you-"
The voice chuckled "Well, I don't know who Gavin is and why he doesn't have a neck but I'm -"
"SEBASTIAN!! SEBASTIAN GET HERE RIGHT NOW!!" Margaret yelled
I turned to face him and was met face to chest with the prettiest boy I'd ever seen, its not a lie because, well, I hardly saw any boy.
He rolled his eyes "What she said. Well I was going to suggest you check the boys' section" He said with a smirk.
And then he scurried off leaving me looking starstruck.
I took his advice and went to the boys' section, though I know he must have been kidding.
I tried picking a bag but all I could see was Sebastian's beautiful face.
So I didn't ignore it this time and stared at one bag. I could literally see his face on it.
His beautiful baby blue eyes. I'm particularly surprised that I find them beautiful. I always thought blue eyes to be the most common of eyes, and found them rather boring. But his, they held some sort of intrigue and wonder and- wow I sound delusional.
Staring at a bag and imagining a face on it.
What is happening to me???
Anyway, he had cute dimples, I saw that when he smirked, they were really deep.
He also had beautiful blonde hair. And he- " Y'know, this bag is identical to mine" None other than Sebastian said
I blushed, for some dumb reason. I've never blushed before, and I hate it!
"Do you speak?" He said with another smirk. It doesn't seem to leave his face.
A smirk of my own formed on my face as an idea came to mind.
"Hola, Soy Kara"
His eyes widened "Your Spanish? Or whatever language that is? No that's definitely Spanish"
"So what if I was Spanish?"
"Nothing, I just didn't peg you to be Spanish. Hey, your speaking English"
I chuckled "Ever heard of bilinguals? And just to clear it up, I'm not Spanish and I don't or didn't learn Spanish and I'm not bilingual. I only know that one sentence from Dora" I said
And he laughed. His laugh is so pretty, I might just have to change mine around him. When did I become so..Lenny???
His pearly white teeth were on display as his dimples became prominent.
"SEBASTIAN!"
He groaned and rolled his eyes again "Well, I guess I'll see you later amigo" he said as he winked and walked away.
I got a nice view of his butt. I then observed his outfit.
He was wearing a red hoodie and black skinny jeans and black hightops.
"Kara, omg I've been looking for you forever! What are you doing here in the boys' section, C'mon let's pick you a pretty bag-"
"Its fine Mona, I'll just take this one" I said carrying the bag that Sebastian said was identical to his. It was black with red stripes at the side and on the front pocket.
"Oh..okay..well, let's go stationary shopping!" Mona squealed
Then we both skipped - well Mona did all the skipping - to where Mona was with a shopping cart. She had already put a white bag with parts of the rainbow on it in the cart.
Typical.
Millie later met up with us, and at the end of the day, we got, Notepads, - Mona got pink and yellow ones while I got green and blue ones - Pencils, pens, erasers, all those stuff.
Millie insisted I got some new clothes and they - Mona and Millie - ended up buying what I think is the whole store. (The clothes were soooo many!)
I was okay with just grey tops and plaid shirts or black jeans and black shirts. But nooo
Blue brings out your eyes

Ugh!
We went home with a truck load of bags
