Kara's POV
"Hunh?" Damien and I both said
Gavin collected the Meridion from Damien and sighed.
"Mist is the 'colourness' of the wishing stone. The host, now that's also a wishing stone but it hosts the mist from the other twelve wishing stones" Gavin explains
"Twelve wishing stones?" Damien asks
"Well ya see a long time ago, -skipping all of the other details - a prism was made with twelve wishing stones and it brought destruction upon the world. Lydon used it to wreak havoc and blah blah. When Amille found it and saved the world again, she feared another foolish mortal would do the same so she broke the prism and scattered the stones around the world. Now we have to gather them and transfer their mists to the host - Darra's amulet - and then we build the prism - which was also destroyed - and then we can finally defeat Lydon and save the world" Gavin explained
"I didn't want to interrupt your whole speech cause you seemed to enjoy it. But dude, her name's Kara, who the butt is Darra ?!" Damien said after Gavin took a deep breath.
"Dude what's your deal with butts?" I said
"That's what you got from what I said? Who is Darra!" Damien asked well more like shouted
"Darra is my grandmother you butt! Gosh!" I shout frustrated
"Geez woman calm down! And Gavin where are you!" Damien and I didn't notice Gavin leaving.
"Well while you two were bickering, I stepped out a bit. Now Damien, here's the full story" Gavin said and he and I explained everything.

Not long after Gavin and I explained everything to Damien, Mona came in.
"Hey Mona" Damien and I greeted at the same time.
"Hi" she said looking at us weirdly
"So..what's up?" I asked as she made herself comfortable on my bed
"What, am I not welcome here?" She said getting a bit angry.
Not necessarily as we were in the middle of something.
To be fair I don't blame her. If the roles were switched, I would totally flip.
One time, back at the foster care, Lenny and the twins (Jess and Brigitta) were always hanging out, whispering stuff in each other's ears and giggling in the night. I was already raving mad, but I tried my possible best not to show it ,which didn't help anyway. So onetime, I pretended to sleep so they could start their giggling and then I eavesdropped. Turns out they were planning a birthday party for me. That was like when I was 16. When it was eventually the D - day, I had to fake my surprise but Lenny saw through it and called me aside. I confessed and then we both vowed to never keep secrets from each other, only if they were birthday parties.
"Of course you are" Damien said
"Okay then" she said calming down "But seriously, what's been up lately? Sulky Damien who never left his room only to go to the home theater, who hated Kara without even meeting her, all of a sudden, warms up to her and starts coming for meals, hanging with her in her room and jokes with her and other normal stuff, suddenly becomes Social Damien. What is going on! Please don't loop me out! Kara I don't understand, I thought we were gonna be friends but now you only hang out with Damien! Casper's at some stupid boy camp leaving me alone in this big ol' house with six other people, yet I still feel alone!" Mona said at the edge of tears.
Whoa whoa whoa! She is just taking this too far! I spend at least 50% alone in my room, 25% with her, 5% for meals and stuff and 30% with Gavin and Damien(as of late)!
Okay I see her point but really, crying?
"You have got to be kidding me Mona!" Damien exclaims
"What do you mean? Any friend I make or meet, you always have to come and sweep then away from me! At the end of the day, we're not friends anymore! And when you loose contact with them, they don't even talk to me at all anymore!" Mona yelled in reply
Ohhh, I get it now! This isn't about me spending more time with Damien than her, this is more like a sibling jealousy kind of thing. Gulp.
"What are you even saying? That makes no sense and I have done no such"
"Really? Take Debbie for example. Debbie was my friend before you! I knew her first, talked to her first, I even introduced her to you! - my mistake there though - "
"-friend? friend? You could hardly call her that. She was in my class! You only have history with her, and the only reason she came home was because you were project partners and she came to meet me and you were super jealous just like you are now!" Damien yelled, shutting Mona up.
"Oh yeah well, well, your a boy!" Mona yelled after an awkward while.
"What?" I finally spoke up
"Are you drunk Mona?" Damien asked
"So, what if I am" She retorted
"She's an angry drunk. Sometimes she's violent, good thing she didn't drink as much as last time" Damien explained to me as Mona sat on the floor crying.
I sat next to her patting her back, and then she ran to my bathroom and hurling sounds were heard.
"Its okay. In 3, 2, 1 and"
"Hey guys! What are we doing?" Mona said completely sober
"Okay she is a very weird drunk" I said to Damien
He chuckled "Yeah. After she throws up, she completely sobers up and becomes unnecessarily cherry Mona again"
"I was drunk? I'm sorry for what I might've said or done to any of you. I'm just gonna..leave..Bye now!" She said and left.
When she got out, I heard something along the lines of "Your loosing it Mony. Kara saw you drunk. Get your head in the game!"
Damien and I both chuckled.
"Hey Gavin's gone again" Damien observes
"Yeah well. Forget Gavin. She's right you know. We can't keep doing this. She'll either be suspicious and find out what's up or she'll just be hurt and we'll be seeing more of 'Angry Mony'" I said
"Yea..I'm gonna..go..maybe you'll buzz me when Gavin's back?"
"I don't have your number"
"Now you do" he said after saving his number on my phone.
Then he left with a quick wave at the door.
"Wait!" I called out
Damien came back and poked his head out of the door entrance "Yeah?"
"There is one thing I don't get though"
"Yeah?"
"You and Mona have classes together. Did you fail a class or something? Sorry, just curious"
"Nahh...we're the same age"
"So that means your-"
"-can I go now?"
"TWINS!!! Yeah yeah, go" and he left without another word.
Loneliness. Hello there old friend.
I planted my self on the bed with a quick sigh.
Hey
I said to Oyinda, my crazy Nigerian imaginary friend.
Wazzaa!!!
She replied back. Told you she was crazy.
Oh wait! Lenny!
I sprung up and searched for the paper she gave me.
I dialed the number not being able to hold my excitement.
"Hello, who has the pleasure of speaking to me?" She said after picking on the third ring
"Lenny!" I squealed
"Kara? Kara! Oh my gosh Kara!"
I laughed an excited laugh "Lenny! I have missed you soo much! I'm sorry I haven't been able to call you but I have a reasonable excuse" I said getting ready to tell her about my adoption into the family of the Monguls.
"No excuse can be reasonable for that! I'm also sorry I haven't called at all. Its just because my new family they are soo- oh my gosh, I'm sorry I didn't mean to rub it in-"
"I GOT ADOPTED!!" I screamed and then we both screamed
"Really? Omg this is big news!! We have to meet up like ASAP!! What are they like though?"
"Well..they're super nice they live in this big ol' house and I'm a-" I hesitated telling her what's really been going on.
I can't just go on and be like 'Oh Lenny? I'm a witch and I have this new ghost friend who is helping me discover and unravel my witchcraft and oh I'm helping him save the world!'
"Your a what?" She asked confusion laced in her voice
"I'm a..a..a sister! I wanted to say I'm a sister. I have Twin siblings around our age and a cute little brother!"
I mentally patted myself at the back.

"That's so cool! Well I have no siblings. My parents have had bad luck in child birthing so they gave up and adopted me"
"Aw that's sad"
"Yeah well what are their names!"
"Damien and Mona are the twins and Casper is the little guy"
"Omg we have a dog named Damien!" She gushed and we both laughed.
I smiled as she started filling me in on the latest in her life.
I missed this. I missed us. I missed her.
