Kara's POV
After lunch, we - Damien and I - (I know, weird) wanted to head to my room until Mona stopped us.
"So um uh, guys, Bentley, brought a few new movies so I was thinking maybe we should head to the theater maybe?" Mona asks and by the look of things, she isn't taking no for an answer.
Damien and I exchanged looks until we both signed and nodded.
"Are you guys like, besties now?" Mona whispers into my ear on our way there.
"Nah..I just..he just..Y'know came by so I could comfort him?" I lied terribly
"Oh..okay.." Mona said dropping it. She's getting suspicious.
We got to the theater and Mona got the movie started with the help of some old dude who I'm guessing is Bentley.
"That's Bentley. The dude beside the popcorn. Go get us some" Damien whispered to me
I nodded then walked up to him. "Kara" I said smiling
"Bentley. Popcorn?" he returned the smile
"Yeah..one for all three of us to share" I say politely
He chuckled "Oh Damien doesn't like sharing. You can all get one each" He said scooping some popcorn into brown paper bags.
He gave me all three after adding some butter, I smiled at him and he saluted. Yup, he's a weird one.
I sat down and gave everyone theirs and we all started to munch as some prehistoric dinosaur movie came on.
"Aw no popcorn for me?" A voice that I have learnt to be Gavin's said into my ear.
I looked at him with a scowl and whispered hoping Mona wouldn't hear me "Your a ghost"
"Yeah but.." He said and he suddenly entered me again.
'We've been over this Kara.'
Shut up. And get out of me!
'After some popcorn. And I'll do the narrating - that you do in your head for some weird reason - from here.'
What the?-
'And the beautiful boy who possessed me grabbed a handful of popcorn - with my hand - and shoved it in my mouth.'
'OMG I forgot the heavenly taste of popcorn....'
'I wish I were human again...'
And I wish I had control of my own body! Seriously get out! Mona's starting to stare at the animalistic way in which I'm eating popcorn. As if I haven't eaten popcorn in the last hundred years!
'Oh don't rub it in!'
Damien is just looking at me with a knowing smirk.
'Whatever. I don't really care what Mona thinks.'
Hey! That's my sister, put some respect.
"Happy now?" he said finally out of my body
"Delighted" I say smiling as I shove more popcorn in my mouth, only normally.

"Soo...what's like his purpose here?" Damien asks referring to Gavin.
"Well..I'll explain that later. We haven't checked on Debbie's earring remember?" I say almost forgetting my self.
"Oh yeah..you charged it with that egg thingy?"
"Prohexis " I corrected with a chuckle
"Yeah yeah..Y'know I'm not used to all these weird terms. Since when did you discover all this um uh...mystical stuff?" Damien asks
"Actually, a few days ago. When I first moved here" I said looking for the prohexis
"Oh uh, about that, sorry for being cold to you" Damien says shyly as rubs his neck and looks down
"Its alright. I wasn't particularly fond of you either" I say honestly.
I found the prohexis so I grabbed it. "Where is Gavin? Or is it that I just can't see him?" Damien said sitting crisscross on my bed and fiddling with a rubix cube he found.
I don't know how it got here but there are a lot of things I found here.
"Uh..I actually don't know. We should ask when he gets back" I reply thinking about it.
"I'm back" Gavin yells as he comes out of a wall.
"Speak of the devil" I say to Damien, alerting him that Gavin's back.
I remove the earring from the prohexis and drop the prohexis on my table.
"Sooo...what now?" Damien asks and I look to Gavin
"Give Damien the earring" He says
I hand it to Damien and turns out, he can now see Gavin
"Nice. Sup man" Damien says
Gavin nods "I got you a gift. Catch" he says then throws me a heavy book with a leather cover. Me being the lightweight I am, I stagger then fall to the ground.
Both boys laugh hysterically "Don't mock me" I warn
They sober up and pull me to my feet. Well Gavin used his ghostly manipulations.
"Okay! Now what sort of gift is this?"
"Its like a spell book. Its called the Meridion" Gavin says with a smile
"Meridion" Damien says nodding
"Thanks?" I say. Some gift.
"Your welcome. Now open it to page two fifty.. Yeah two fifty-six" Gavin replied and I do as he says
Page 256 had a heading that said Hosting spell.
"That's a hosting spell"
"If only I could read" I said to Damien who was at my back reading too, rolling my eyes at him.
"Now read those words out and repeat three times and hold the earring. Damien grab the meridion" Damien gave me the Earring and took the meridion from me and held it out so I could easily read from it.
I held the earring in my left hand and as Gavin also mentioned, raised my right hand and waved it around.
"Not like an idiot, Kara. Just use your index finger and your middle finger if that's easier" Gavin said.
And so I positioned myself and read the words out.
"Close your eyes"
I closed my eyes. "But not too tight"
"Would you just let her read the darn spell?" Damien said. I was getting a bit frustrated though.
"Okay. Now. No more distractions or disruptions" I say warning both of them
"Arim sadai kinto kolai hauba"
"Whoa her eyes are glowing white!"
Damien said excitedly
"Shut up. Kara Go on" Gavin hissed
"Arim sadai kinto kolai hauba"

And then suddenly, the earring and my amulet (still on my neck) float up and the 'purple-ness' of the earring enters the amulet. And then it turns orange. Then green again.
Weird. I know.
No one said anything as we - Damien and I - were shocked while Gavin was mesmerized
"What the butt?" Damien said breaking the silence
"Yeah..what just happened?" I say
Gavin just smiled "And that, my friends is called the transfer of mist from a stone to a host"
