"I thought you never asked," he smirkes, skimming his eyes over her drenched clothes. "And you need to change that," he pointed at her clothes. "When I saw you running to find a shelter, you looked like a lost cat drenched in the rain and looking for comfort."
She furrowed her eyebrows the moment those words slipped his lips. She squints her eyes too tight, giving him a distaste look and also curling her lips into a frown. Chris snorts out a laugh the moment he saw what she did.
"And now, you look like a kid whose favorite toy was taken away," he goes on to mock her.
"Are you gonna help me or ridicule me?," She tries to calm her angry nerves.
"Ask nicely again," he imputes.
"What!, I asked nicely but all you could do is make fun of me, it's not cool," She frowns, "and if you don't wanna help me, I will help myself, thank you."
She tried to walk away from him but he stopped her, "get in the car!," he ordered like she was a little kid.
