Upon arriving her room, Adeline slipped her feet into her fuzzy slippers and removed her soaking wet jacket. As she slowly walked towards the industrial-styled kitchen, Abigail abruptly handed her a thick towel.
"Julian came to see me again." Adeline grabbed the towel and wiped her hair.
"It's not a surprise that he's doing so." Abigail slumped against the cold windowpane. "He really won't stop unless you get yourself a man."
"Is it true that Nic and Ella had already made their relationship public?"
"Everyone in the campus has already heard about it. You're quite late."
"The other day, Nic told me—"
"Adele." Molly handed her a bag of chips. "Stop dwelling on the past."
"Then let's talk about you." Adeline sank onto her chair. "Did you hurt Jacob again?"
"O-Only a l-little, but I just told him that I needed to organize my feelings."
"Jeez! Just tell him!" Abigail sneered, grabbing her phone.
"I guess I was too harsh to him. I never knew that he'd actually k—"
"Kiss?" Adeline jumped out of her chair with her mouth wide open. "Who initiated it?"
Molly looked away, trying to hide her embarrassment. "He-He did, but I eventually responded to it..."
"Did anyone see you?"
"I don't think so."
Abigail snickered. "I did. She even lifted her leg while kissing."
Molly's face reddened. "Abby! How did-did you see us? We were at the—"
"When I was on my way to the rooftop to get some fresh air, I saw you guys all acting lovey-dovey, so I decided not to distract you two."
"I'm sorry that you had to see that."
"I actually enjoy watching it."
Molly grabbed a pillow and covered her face. "Abby! Don't mention it!"
"You're catching up huh!" Adeline smirked. "Don't go to far yet."
"You mean that-that night where he and I did that thing...?" Molly bit her fingers.
"Did you guys had a condom—"
"AHHH! Don't say it! I don't remember! Wh-What if I'm pre-pregnant...?"
"It's been several months since we went to the resort." Adeline put her hand under her chin. "Your stomach's still flat."
"Does this mean that my parents won't kill me?" Molly clutched her clothes.
Adeline patted her back. "I'm not so sure about that."
"Wait." Abigail stood up. "You guys never told me about this!"
Molly briskly hugged her arm. "I haven't found the right time to tell you yet, Abby. Are you an-angry?"
"I really felt like I was not even part of—"
"It's my fault. I apologize."
"Does Peter and Nicholas know about this?"
Molly shrugged her shoulders. "I told Jacob to keep to keep his mouth shut."
"We can't trust them with things like this." Adeline sat up. "Once this gets to the principal's office, you'll both get expelled."
"What if her stomach gets a bump in a few months?" Abigail looked at the ceiling and smiled. "Am I gonna be an aunt already?"
"Abby!" Molly gently slapped her shoulder. "I really can't get pregnant."
"You don't get to decide that."
"Then what if I—"
"Don't worry. My grandma's got a lot of duster dresses. I can let you borrow them if you want."
"Idiot! I won't wear them!"
"She's just exhilarated." Adeline opened her laptop. "Who isn't, right?"
Molly opened her eyes wide as her mouth dropped open. "You... Adele! You're siding with her? I'm not ready to be a mother!" She folded her arms and shook her head.
"You don't have to worry about getting pregnant." Adeline smiled. "I remember the hotel manager telling me that room 304 requested for a condom."
"Why would h-he tell you...? How did he remember that Jacob and I slept in room 304?"
"I asked him before we left."
"You knew all along yet you didn't tell me?" Molly sneered, putting her hands on her waist.
"You guys never asked."
Molly sighed, "Oh, forget it."
