Dabi POV:
I didn't sleep all night thinking about Yane and how things would go. I got out of bed around 6:30 a.m. and walked to the restroom to get myself cleaned up. Then I walked into the bar and asked Kurogiri for a drink. I had one shot, which wasn't enough to get me wasted.
Then I walked back into my room to put on some new clothes. I finally finished off by put on my mask, and stormed into Toga's room. I didn't know why I was so eager to go, but I wanted to see her. I needed to see her.
I slammed opened the door to Toga's room and shouted at her sleeping form, "Get up! I'm ready!" She groaned as she dug her head into her pillow and muffled, "It's so early, I'm still tired... leave me alone..."
I ignored her complaints and walked into her room and grabbed her feet and dragged her out of bed. She fell onto the ground with a loud 'thud' following behind, as she yelped at the sudden pain. I ignored her once again and said, "Hurry up. You have 5 minutes. I'm waiting by the door."
She let out a sigh and I left her behind, laying on the floor. I walked over to the exit and waited for Toga to get ready.
After a few minutes Toga came out in her usual school girl uniform, rubbing her eyes as she let out a yawn. "Finally." I scoffed as I opened the door and walked out. She followed behind me as I led the way to Yane's apartment complex.
Soon we arrived at her apartment complex and I sat down on a bench nearby. Toga sat down next to me and the time was around 7:00 a.m.
"Where is she." Toga whined, still rubbing her eyes. "She's asleep." I informed her. Toga gave me the 'are you out of your mind' look. I just ignored her and asked, "So how will you get her blood? What do you even need her blood for?"
"Well, I guessed that if you really are in love you wouldn't have the guts to approach her, so I'll turn myself into her and see how you react. And about the blood, I'll just stab her!" She said in a cheerful tone. I quickly snapped at her saying, "You won't stab her! She'll end up at the hospital!"
She just let out a sigh, "This is so useless... obviously you're in love. I wonder what her quirk is." Her disappointed face turned bright at her own question.
"She said that she was quirkless." I answered her question. She looked surprised at my answer and gave me the surprised 'are you serious look.' I just sighed and said, "Wake me up in 10 minutes. And figure out a way to get her blood without being weird."
Then I closed my eyes and thought about Yane's face. 'Yane Yuu...' Her name repeated in my head over and over again.
"Wake up Dabi!" I heard Toga's voice as she tugged on my jacket. "It's been 10 minutes." I got up and rubbed my tired eyes. "Ok... she should be out soon." I said before waiting near the fences.
Yane POV:
I walked out of the apartment complex and saw a man stand near the entrance fences. I put up my guard and walked over to the man and saw that it was the guy with scars. I quickly ran up to him and hugged him. He looked startled but happy, I think...
I quickly pushed myself off him when I saw a blond with messy buns walk up to us and say, "Hello~" in a somewhat creepy tone.
"I'm sorry." I said before patting off some invisible dust off my shirt. The girl walked over to the man and said, "So she's the one." With a giggle. I nervously rubbed the back of my neck and let out a nervous chuckle. "I'm sorry... do I know you?" I politely asked, still nervous.
I made myself a promise that I'd stop thinking about the scarred man and give my all to Kiyoshi. But it was hard. Every time I saw him my heart would start beating fast and I'd get tempted to feel his non existing warmth.
The blond walked over to me and smiled. "I'm Himiko Toga! It's a pleasure to meet you!" She cheerfully introduced herself.
I pulled out a hand for a handshake which she gladly excepted. "I'm Yane Yuu. It's a pleasure to meet you too." I returned her greetings.
Toga wouldn't stop shaking my hand, which kinda gave me the chills. Her grip on my hand tightened before it was broken up by the scarred man. "Give it a break Toga." He said in a cold voice.
I just let a small smile creep onto my face and said, "She must be your girl-" I was interrupted by the man saying, "No, she isn't." A small, nervous smile appeared on my face again, "Oh, I'm sorry. Well it's was nice to meet you guys, but I have to go to work now. See you guys around." I said before turning away and leaving.
I heard a small giggle from behind which sent chills down my spine.
Dabi POV:
After Yane left I grabbed onto Toga's uniform collar and slightly lifted her up. Towering her, and giving her a death glare I said, "Did you really have to act like a psychopath!"
She just pulled out her knife and stabbed up hand which made me let go of her collar. She fixed up her collar and said, "Don't act like you aren't one either." I just let out a sigh as I held my bleeding hand up, "At least I'm more sane." I corrected her.
"I'm heading to the hideout. Don't do anything to her." I said before starting to head towards the hideout.
Yane POV:
I arrived at work and changed into my uniform as I helped out Itsu get the tabled ready. After that I headed to the coffee machine and started getting the coffee beans ready to go. I cleaned up the counter as the doorbell rang.
"I'm sorry, we aren't open ye-" I stopped mid sentence when I saw the scarred man. I quickly walked over to him and led him outside and said, "Did you need somethi-" I was interrupted by a finger gently fall onto my lips. I blushed at this sudden movement. "You really are cute." The man said in a husky and seductive tone. I blushed more and said, "I don't even know your na-" I was again interrupted, but this time with a gentle 'shush.'
The man removed his finger as he moved his face closer to mine making my face flush even redder than it already was. He moved towards my ear and whispered, "Call me Dabi." I just squeezed my eyes shut before stuttering, "O-Ok..."
I pushed him off me and said, "I-I have to go back to work." I quickly ran back inside and Itsu approached me. He towered me and said, "Don't you have a boyfriend?" I quickly flinched at the question and said, "I.. It's not what it looks like. I don't know why he did that. Please don't tell Kiyoshi about this."
He just let out a goofy sigh and said, "One day you're single and the next you have boys chasing you. Are you sure you're quirkless?" I ran over to him and started playfully punching him, "You idiot." I said. He just laughed at the situation as we went back to work.
