"Rise and shine sleeping beauty."
"Mhmm go away demon, I wanna sleep." I unconsciously replied, so used to the morning routine I didn't realise i'd even said anything until I heard the words…
"Sleeping beauty, my Lord?" came the questioning voice of the older gentleman.
Sitting right up I turned to the men staring curiously at me. Though I was much more interested in the younger of the pair. Before anymore words could be said; before anything could be done I reacted. Or what Daemien would later say, overreacted.
"Aaahh what the hell was that for?"
Yep you guessed it. I punched that smug jackass. He's lucky I don't start aiming for his family jewels next.
"You asshole. What did you do to me? I have a raging headache. I swear to god if you drugged me I will end your pitiful existence."
While ranting, justifiably if I may say so, I did not take account of my surroundings, which is probably how I ended up with two guys each holding my arms, while another was pointing a sword to my throat.
Wait what? A sword? … Damn I forgot I was somehow transported to the magical medieval age. With dragons and large guys pointing swords everywhere. Let me be more specific … at me.
"Woah hold on there. We don't want an accident now do we?" I asked, looking into the eyes of the swordmaster.
"Put the sword down, Theo." Damien said.
"My Lord, she attacked you!" He exclaimed while shifting his sword closer to my neck inch by inch.
My Lord, must investigate later. Read: Torture Damien. Then again that is sorta how i'm in this situation so maybe something less kill Seraphina style could work.
"Theo, I will not ask again." The look in his steel gray eyes made me thankful he was advocating for let's keep her alive as opposed to the … other option.
"Yes, my Lord. I apologise."
The one called Theo thankfully obeyed and angled his sword to the ground which led to his two comrades to also let go of me. Though I noticed he didn't put it away and judging by Damien's narrowed eyes he did too, though he let it go.
Turning towards me a small smile flitted to his handsome face something I noted surprised all of the men in the room not that Damien seemed to notice.
"What's this about me drugging you?" HIs tone sounded a mix of confused and amused.
Glaring as hard as I could, though I'm big enough to admit that I cannot glare to save my life. So thank god there is no 'Glare to save your life' competition out there or I would surely die, agonisingly. Though you never know. It's a pretty twisted place.
"Well how else could you explain this rather bizarre dream?"
Understanding dawned his eyes though not his face yet he did not show it, though I could still see. He slowly stepped towards me though I knew there was something seriously off with this picture.
He was looking at me with … pity?
