Chapter 1 - Beginning

Footsteps reverberated throughout the hallway, the place desolate and cold.

A young boy walked forward to the door at the end of it, a slight smile forming at the edge of his lips.

"System, activate The Godless Eden for me." He muttered aloud, speaking to the almighty will in his mind.

[Understood. Shifting Space; Location Set: A Realm Has Been Created. User Jacob Is Ready To Go]. The boy named Jacob grinned, it was his time to show these pitiful mortals who's boss once more.

"Well then if you want to go down there and have fun then you'd best need a new fashion line since your clothes are so last season." Right behind him was a woman in a startling glittery dress formed merely of pure silk and starlight.

Jacob turned around to take a look at his beloved great grand niece, "Aphrodite. I have no need for fashion, after all, it is words that shall get me there, not style."

The woman rolled her eyes at him, knowing fully well that she could not convince him completely, "Bullshit. I remember that the last time you said that, instead of giving a speech and negotiating with your enemies you literally blew them up using a Soundless Terror spell."

At that point the boy looked away while Aphrodite refused to give up, glaring at him accusingly. "Not my fault, I didn't realise that part of my speech was the phrase to activate the spell. And also maybe it was the multitude of traps I set up at that time, or possibly even the Glyphs I placed on them discreetly, who knows?"

The woman flared, her body glowing a hot pink light shroud. She was activating her Aura. "Who knows? WHO KNOWS?! You do! You're the God Of The Unknown; Agnostos Theo I swear if you weren't literally one of the most powerful of all primordial Gods I would have beheaded you right now!"

Jacob let out a small and dry laugh, "Says the lady who couldn't even put up a fight with a damn owl."

The Goddess flushed red, embarrassment flooding over her. "Well yeah? Next time you come back I'll be strong enough to do so!" She declared without hesitation, the boy was somewhat dumbfounded but applauded her determination.

"Agnostos, please don't bully your elders. It's rude you know." A bestial growl came behind him once more, this time coming from a black jackal with sleek and shiny fur that wore only an Usekh with red rubies that accentuated his crimson blood eyes.

"Anubis. What are you doing here?" The jackal god bared his fangs at him, his anger subdued yet still contained considerable killing intent.

"I have come to see how you fare. It seems that you insist on becoming God over in the new world." He smiled, Anubis knew of the many aspirations he had for the future but he also knew of the problem with descending.

"Your powers would be sealed away, you of all people should know that. Not only that but there's also the fact that this is dangerous territory even for us. After all the world you are going to is being ruled by a mortal turned God, that was once Chinese."

Anubis was concerned for the boy after all his previous reincarnation was Japanese after he awakened he had taken with him the enmity of Japan and China.

His hatred was not without reason, after all, he had reincarnated many times and often it was in eras of war.

The first time he was reborn in Japan was in the middle of the Second World War. He had then been killed amongst many others during Hiroshima.

From then on he felt the curse of Ruination swallow him whole. Of course, it had been lifted, but the scars were still there.

"Death and destruction are more closely related to each other than you think. During that time, I witnessed it in its full glory, a magnificent deluge of flame and annihilation."

The black jackal rose its head recalling of the astonishing might it held. "You know what? I'm coming with you."

Jacob, who was dawdling whilst the death God was monologuing, suddenly awoke in shock but also of fear. "I beg your pardon?"

The broody canine showed a toothy grin, one of sharp and pearly white teeth. "I said; I'm coming with you."

Jacob retorted in alarm, "No! I mean, you're a death God, surely Osiris needs you."

Before he could continue, a blue-headed man phased through the walls looking straight at him. "Nope. He can go with you, he spends too much time in the Underworld sulking all day."

Osiris knew that this was the perfect chance to get away from Anubis for a while, in his eyes he was a good kid, just that he was too moody and antisocial.

"What about Ma'at? Surely she needs your help." Once more the subject God had arrived, in the form of an ostrich holding a golden scale.

The flightless bird circled around him and placed the scales on its long neck just to say, "Sorry. I can handle everything else though, and if anything I can just ask my husband to help me out."

Then in a flash, she was gone, the two Gods were equally dumbfounded. To think that Anubis was not well-liked, even in his own house, was a big surprise to them.

But Jacob would not willingly give up, "Okay, what about Hades?" And once again, a form of the God, this time in the form of a black mist. And Hades was quick to reply.

"All yours, grand uncle." The Underworld Lord was in a hurry and could not say anything more.

"What about..." This time he had barely said anything, yet a woman with one side of her face a beautiful woman and the other half that of a deliquesced corpse smothered in acid had come by him, it was Hel.

"Hell no! That dog tried to eat my f*cking face the first time he came to Niflheim."

....

"Hard pass. Half of my pantries, fridges and many food storages had been cleaned out by him."

....

"I invited him because I thought he looked kind of hot in his human form, then I found out that he ate WAY TOO MUCH."

....

"At first when I heard the rumours I thought he was hungry like you know, for 'it' and that he was a beast at 'it' like they said, but then I realised they were talking about how he's a total glutton."

....

"Honestly I'm jealous that he managed to stay fit after all this time despite eating so much fatty food. Even some Beauty Goddesses gain weight after finishing a feast."

What the hell did you say?!"

Aphrodite! I didn't see you there!"

....

After an entire hour of questioning and stopping fights, three deities sat down drinking cold lemonade.

Jacob gulped down the cold and effervescence filled drink with great gusto and spoke, "Well then if you two really want to go with me then I'll have to seal your powers away."

Aphrodite and Anubis glanced at each other in agreement. "Fine with me." Both were in complete sync, they all shared a few laughs and some stories about themselves but later on, they had to stop.

For it was time to descend. Walking down the desolate hallway that was once filled with voices clamouring about, they all sighed knowing that they were to be gone for the next few hundred years.

Pushing over the gilded oak door they found themselves in a luxurious black marble room, lit with torches that stuck to every corner of the room.

"Are you ready?" A woman in a silver cloak spoke to them, with a calming Aura pervading their senses they knew who they were talking to.

"Thanks, Hecate." Under the hood, the witch Goddess smiled at Agnostos's gratitude, feeling sad that he'd be gone for a few years.

But that was just a cover-up as she held a little secret of her own. 'Hehe, I had prepared everything to bring these three and with Aphrodite, Apollo would surely be grateful that I gave him the chance to fight Agnostos on equal grounds.' Hecate had colluded with Apollo to bring the four of them together at the same place so Agnostos and Apollo could fight to see who's stronger.

But her plan was foolish, she had forgotten an important part. Agnostos had the Akashic Record, he knew everything that happened and will happen.

So when he first saw Hecate in the room he knew exactly what to do. "Forced Teleportation: Apollo."

His words were barely audible, but to Gods with superior physical bodies, their hearing was incredibly fine tuned that they could hear a pin drop from 1,685,963.99 miles or 2,713296.03 km away.

Then he spoke once more in a maniacal manner. "Forced Activation! (Poreía pros tin elefthería)."

Hecate was outraged, she had not foreseen this, despite all her careful planning she had made one oversight, Agnostos was an insanely good Wizard. "Path To Freedom spell?! Are you crazy! That would seal 95% of your powers and would send your true body down to transmigrate!"

"Don't you think I don't know that? We four need this, I have suffered long enough; WE have suffered enough. It's time for us to go. Goodbye, Sister." His last act as Agnostos was a justified one.

He was sick and tired of being known only as God of The Unknown, so he did much of what he could to become a God of many things in the new world, if not many at least one more.

For that was his only wish; to be more useful to the other deities....
